我不是画家，不能用画笔来描绘我职业的缤纷：我不是作家，不能用华美的词句来赞美我的职业;我不是歌手，不能用动听的歌声来歌咏我的岗位，我只是一名普通的小学老师，在平凡的岗位上只能像小蜜蜂一样，不断的采撷着、积累着，构筑心中那最美好。
还记得最初在十字路口的彷徨“刻板、单调、撑不了饿不死”这样的职业对于那个张扬的年纪实在缺少点吸引力。在极不情愿的情况下，我无奈的踏进了学校的大门。在这个社会，不断膨胀的物欲带来的是心理不平衡、是精神的空虚，转行还是坚持?然而，在城市的边缘我见到了这样的一群老师，没有正式的
编制、拿着不高的工资、每年都接纳着五湖四海的孩子，但他们依然无怨无悔，像春蚕、像蜡烛，他们用自己的青春和生命来捍卫这个职业的圣洁时，我如梦初醒。他们用自己的行动，用自己生命的痕迹激励着我们这些后来人，这些同行们，让我们由不情愿到情愿，由情愿到全身心地热爱这个工作。因为，生命的意义远不止于功利。”人吃饭是为了活着，但活着绝不是为了吃饭”。生活中许多微小中藏有博大，短暂中孕育永恒。
在书上见过这样一个故事：一条小鱼蹦出了河面，路过的人看见了却熟视无睹，只有一个小男孩捡起那条鱼，把它放进了河里，别人对那个男孩说：“你干嘛这么做呢，谁还会在乎一条小鱼?”小男孩却说：“小鱼在乎。”
是的呀，小鱼在乎!同样的，老师的一次会心的微笑，一个鼓励的眼神，一句温馨的问候，一个体贴的动作，都会令学生信心倍增、温暖倍至，因为学生在乎，家长在乎!
每当在校内或是校外听到学生们一声“老师好”的时候，每当看到孩子们的点滴进步，心里便会荡漾起无边的幸福。“老师，我家的孩子最近......”总会有家长来打电话或者到校来询问孩子们的情况，他们是那么放心的把孩子的未来全托付给了我们，可是我该怎样去托起那份沉甸甸的希望?

英语风采，少年青春
合肥师范学院第十九届英文演讲大赛决赛
在这寒冷的冬季，合肥师范学院丰富多彩的大学生校园活动正在如火如荼地进行，为这严寒的天气带来了阵阵暖意。由合肥师范学院校团委﹑外语系团总支﹑外语系学生会﹑校社联﹑口语协会承办的第十九届英文演讲大赛决赛（专业组）于11月22日晚七点在一教109举行。来自外语系的九位同学通过初赛的努力，顺利进入了大赛决赛。来自外语系的四位老师从繁忙的教学﹑备课中抽出自己宝贵的时间担任了此次大赛的评委。
此次决赛分为上下场两部分。第一部分为参赛选手自我介绍，九位参赛选手从性格﹑生活经历﹑情感感悟等方面进行了各具特色的自我介绍。在自我介绍之后选手们分别与评委老师﹑在场观众进行了精彩的互动。选手们或幽默或感人的自我介绍让观众深深感受到了选手们的个人魅力，而选手与评委﹑观众的互动则多次将比赛推向了高潮。第二部分为选手三分钟随机抽签演讲。参赛选手分别从10组话题中随机抽取一组，围绕该话题展开为时三分钟的演讲。这些话题为大赛组委会精心准备，新颖﹑特别，
但与参赛选手们的学习﹑生活息息相关。参赛选手们在场下进行短短几分钟的准备后便上场发表演讲。可见选手们的英文素养都很高且临场发挥能力十分优异。在场观众对参赛选手们热情洋溢﹑洒脱自如的演讲报以了热烈的回应。经过激烈的角逐，比赛评出优秀奖三名：解保、吴丽琴、冯巧玉；吴琦、刘敏、周秀获得三等奖；张礼、蒋家静同学获得二等奖；岑芸同学荣获比赛一等奖。
在比赛最后，张媛（音）﹑洪芳（音）评委老师对参赛选手们的表现进行了总结性点评，为此次大赛增添了浓墨重彩的一笔。四位老师为获奖选手进行颁奖并与选手们合影留念，此次大赛决赛获得圆满成功!
