I hope by studying this topic we can know the importance of the transformation of parts of speech in English to Chinese translation.Through transformation, we can get the better version and improve the translation skills.
The way of thinking and expreing is quite different between Chinese and English.English is a kind of static languages which tends to use more nouns.While Chinese is a dynamic one in which verbs are often used.
So when we make translation in English to Chinese, we should know this point and shift the parts of speech.Next, it is an outline of my paper.In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts.
Part one presents an introduction to the basic concepts of parts of speech and transformation.
Part two discues the definition of translation and emphasizes the importance of transformation of parts of speech in the course of translation.
Part three gives four basic ways of transformation of parts of speech through illustrative examples.There are transformed English words into Chinese verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs.
Part four presents some problems about transformation and gives some advise to solve the problems.
Part five draws some conclusions that transformation between parts of speech is neceary for us to achieve good translation.It is demonstrated that we can have a good master of transformation and improve the translation.In addition, we must continuously study and explore in all kinds of translation practices.

I hope by studying this short story we can know more about American southern women in certain history and culture and more importantly help women in modern society get a deeper understanding about ourselves ,help us raise our independence and confidence and show more concern for our mental health.Next , I will present it to you.Here is an outline of my presentation.They are literature review, gothic tradition , the gothic style in the story and the causes of the gothic style .
This paper consists of six parts.Part one presents an introduction to the author William Faulkner and A Rose for Emily by pointing out the purpose and significance of this study.Part two is literature review which introduces the relevant research about this novel at home and abroad and then points out the theoretical basis and methods.Part three gives a timeline of the gothic tradition in literature and explains the main characteristics of gothic works.Part four explains the three aspects of the gothic style in the novel，

Today, the title of my paper is On the Network Novels.In recent years, the network literature is developing rapidly.Network novel is one of the fast of them.In the middle schools, high schools and even universities, there is no lack of network novels\' addicts.For the above facts, I select the subject of “on the network novels” as the title of my paper.
Then, I will show it to you.In the main part of this paper, I divide it into four parts, as the concept of network novels, the claification of their authors, the development of network novels and the prospects of that.
The first part, the definition.Its concept can be divided into the generalized and the narrow.And it can also be divided into boys‟ and girls‟ in another way.
The second part, the claification of their authors.Generally speaking, there are four kinds of authors.The first kind is some people who have favor of literature, they are writing but not for fame.Then, there is some one has favor for literature and also be for fame.The third kind is some people who have explicit goals at the beginning of his writing.And the last kind are some people who just want to expre their view, their viewpoint and their feeling with no desire of being published.They take up the most of the authors.
The third part, the development.The network novels‟ development can not separate form the development of the net and the literature websites.Its developing proce may be divided into three stages approximately.The first stage is from 1996 to 2000.This time\'s literary work often did not strive for (were also not aware of) the fame and fortune, and moreover received the control of tradition.The second stage is beginning of 21st century, mainly contains 2001 and 2002.In this period, the whole network presented the situation of “chaos”.The third stage is from May, 2003 and continues until now.In this period, many schools come into the world, and when a school became a hit there must be many people mimic it.
The last part, the forecast.Looking from the internal strength pattern, the outstanding writers in our country mainly hold one kind of critique and the peimistic manner to the network novels at present.If each big literature website enlarges their own supervision, delete the vulgar works, the pornography and bad works like those things, meanwhile hanker for new person‟s new article as well as depth ones, the network novels can be accepted by more people.
Not a low-level novel but a kind of enjoyment.

论文答辩是学生学习结束时必不可少的一个环节。其目的是考查学生：
1．能否听懂并正确理解老师提问的主旨；
2．答辩是否深刻、有力和流畅；

3、内容最好是提纲式的，不要用长句，也最好不用单词，可以用简单句子或短语。
4、具体内容与上面提出的自述内容一致，这样有利于自述。

The title of my paper is Fidelity or Treason: Exercise of the Translator’s Subjectivity in the English Version of Wolf Totem.
I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons.Firstly, I am always interested in the translation and spreading of Chinese contemporary literature.As you all know, although Chinese culture has gradually attracted the world’s attention with China’s rapid development in recent years, the number of Chinese books translated and introduced to the western world is still low.Generally speaking, Chinese contemporary literature is not well accepted by western readers.But Wolf Totem is an exception.It was translated by Howard Goldbaltt in 2008 and has exhibited good market performance.So by this thesis, I want to find the reasons for why the translation of Wolf Totem has become a succe, in an attempt to supply an answer to the translation and spreading of Chinese contemporary literature to the western world.Secondly, since the “cultural turn” in 1980s, the iue of the translator’s subjectivity has gradually become a hot research topic.Scholars both at home and abroad have demonstrated an obvious tendency to enhance the translators’ status and highlight their subjectivity.Well, this is a welcome change in translation study.However, many are fond of streing the importance of unbridled play of the translator’s subjectivity, so much so that they pay little attention to the restrictive factors which always greatly influence the exercise the translator’s subjectivity.Thus, how to appropriately exercise the translator’s subjectivity remains to be a controversial iue.So it is also one of my major concerns to find a proper way to judge whether the translator appropriately exercises his subjectivity or not.Thirdly, the translator Howard Goldbaltt holds a set of translation thoughts that fit the very subject of this thesis.On the one hand, he pays due respect to the author, and try to be faithful to the original text, and on the other hand, he agrees that every translation is a betrayal and deems translation as an activity of rewriting to some extent.And his translation thoughts are
embodied in his translation works, including Wolf Totem.In Wolf Totem, efforts to try to strike a balance between “treason” and “fidelity” can be easily detected.These are the major reasons for why I choose this topic.
And now, I will present my thesis to you.Here is an outline of my presentation.This thesis is composed of six parts.Chapter one is an introduction that primarily states the research background, the research significance and the structure of the thesis.Chapter Two is an overview of studies on translator’s subjectivity.It goes over the traditional views on translator’s subjectivity and then the latest studies on this iue since the “cultural turn” both at home and abroad.Chapter Three mainly deals with the iue of translator’s subjectivity.It explains the concepts of subject and subjectivity, expounds the connotation and characteristics of translator’s subjectivity, and discues its manifestation and restrictive factors during translation.On the basis of these analyses, this thesis avoids the traditional “faithfulne” criterion.Instead, it suggests that the exercise of the translator’s subjectivity can be judged from the following aspects: Firstly, to what extent does the translator convey the elements (like word diction, cultural elements, literary style, major theme and so on) embodied in the original? Secondly, how well is the translated version accepted by the target readers? Thirdly, does the translator build a harmonious relationship with his patrons during translation? Lastly, does the translated version conform to the dominant ideology and poetics in the target culture? Chapter Four briefly introduces the author Jiang Rong, the original text Lang Tuteng, the translator Howard Goldblatt and his translated version Wolf Totem.Chapter Five is the main body of the thesis which deals with Howard Goldblatt’s subjectivity in Wolf Totem translation.Adopting the judging method put forward in Chatper three,it firstly analyzes the factors influencing Goldblatt’s subjectivity in both deciding what to translate and selecting translating strategies, and then moves on to focus on examples taken from the translated version to see how Goldblatt exercises his subjectivity in translating the novel.Finally Chapter six, the concluding part, draws the conclusion that during the proce of translation, Goldblatt followed advisable advices from his patrons, adapted the novel
to target readers’ tastes as well as the current ideology and poetics in western world，did a good job in conveying the elements of the original to the target readers and stroke a balance between “fidelity” and “treason”.All these efforts finally contributed to the succe of the English version of Wolf Totem.

2.概括：国家的繁荣在于经济，经济的发展在于企业，企业的兴衰在于管理，管理的活力来自于企业文化。一个现代企业，是否拥有优秀的文化品质和深厚的文化底蕴，决定企业在新时代下的生存空间，直接影响企业的兴盛衰微。我国明主促进会主席许家璐说：“从事经济活动，如果不关注文化问题是很困难的。”企业文化研究专家贾春峰认为：“21世纪经济赛局在很大程度上取决于文化力的较量。”因此“没有文化，就没有现代企业。”已逐渐成为人们的共识。21世纪市场竞争的核心是企业文化，“以人为本，加强管理，搞好服务”是企业文化建设的重要内容。所有企业，几乎都在市场竞争的战场上启用了“文化武器”。企业文化必须要能贯透到企业组织结构的每个层面，每一个人，整个组织才会有强盛的生命力。

通过对中国民营企业现状和民营企业文化现状的分析，更加体现中国民营企业的企业文化的缺失，缺少精神层面的内涵，而首先缺乏的就是一种对文化力量的笃信。甚至部分民营企业还存在一种与现代文明相抵触的价值观念，存在一种与人文关怀，尊重个性和理想主义相悖的文化意识。正是因为这一点，才导致中国民企的昙花现象，使民营企业不断在商海中被淘汰出局。纵观IBM企业文化与我们民营企业文化发展之差距，我们中国民营企业应该学习和借鉴IBM这样优秀的企业文化。我认为中国民营企业可以从以下四个方面向IBM学习和借鉴：
1）坚持以人为本的人才理念，同时关注愿景，让企业有以人为本的内涵和坚强的凝聚力
2）重视用企业制度来管理的经营理念，给企业文化以制度的载体

My dear teachers.My name is Lu Xiaohong.The title of my thesis is On Different Groups\' Subtitles Translation of the First Quarter of the \"Vampire Diaries\" from the Perspective of Skopos Theory.Now, I will introduce the significance of the study and the main content of my thesis.And hope teachers give me some suggestions.
To begin with, I\'d like to introduce the need of the study and why I choose this title.With the development of technology of ma media, the American TV series won its large market in China.Subtitle translation, as a special form of translation, is a kind of translation behavior which has its purpose.To meet the different needs of people of American TV series, subtitle translation should get the purpose that the Chinese audience could communicate with the original movie effectively.Because English has not yet popularized in China, people who watch American play are mainly in college students, college teachers and company white-collar.While to those audience who can not understand English, subtitle translation of American TV series should be more straightaway.There already exist many scholars\' study results in subtitle translation field, but most of them tend to the film title translation or simple subtitle translation.However, the wide spread of internet has enhanced the fast development of the transmiion of online movies, along with which the subtitles translation of these movies also becomes prosperous.Therefore my thesis makes a comparison between subtitles translated by on-line groups and official institutions.Through the comparison, the features of subtitle translation of internet movies can be concluded.And with the use of the skopos theory, through the introduction to characteristics of subtitles: instantaneity [in,stæntə\'ni:iti], popularity and subtitles space restrictions, as well as the listing of specific translations of dialogue in Vampire Diaries, I points out that American TV series subtitle translators should follow the skopos rule in skopos theory, and take the translation strategies such as using spoken language, buzzwords and simple strategy.
Three differences was got from my thesis: firstly, the online translation groups\' work is more acceptable to younger audiences.Their work is more fashionable than the official work.It contains Chinese unique characteristics.And it also contains lots of the translators\' own style.Secondly, online translations always add some extra information, such as explained knowledge, kindly reminder, character comments and cultural background information.Thirdly, the official work emphasizes the ma media broadcasting effect.
Next, I want to talk about thesis structure.The thesis consists of five chapters: chapter one introduces significance of the study and the structure of the whole text.The second chapter is the literature review, and introduces the theoretical basis of the whole text—the skopos theory.Chapter three mainly discues the characteristics and physical limitations of film subtitles translation.Chapter four focuses on relevant strategies ofsubtitle translation with persuasive examples in Vampire Diaries.Chapter five is the conclusion which summarizes the whole thesis and provides limitations of this study and further suggestions about the field of film subtitle translation.
Last but not the least, I will list the limitations of my thesis.Though giving a detailed analysis of subtitle translation, this thesis is still far from satisfactory in the following aspects.First, it only focuses on the E-C subtitle translation.With the rapid development of China\'s audiovisual industry, the C-E subtitle translation will also be flourishing, and studies in that field will also be of great value and importance.Next, the examples cited in this thesis are chosen by myself, which may not be comprehensive.And the analysis of the collected subtitles are based on the my own observation and understanding which might be incomplete and subjective.Thirdly, American TV series are only one type of subtitled audiovisual products, as for lots of other types such as documentary, TV programs may need different strategies of subtitle translation.Therefore, more researches concerning this field, especially studies on subtitle translation principles and strategies, would be welcome.That\'s all, thank you.
