讲到这里，也许有些人会觉得，在家里，节约是自己的事。在厂里，节能降耗是领导的事，与职工无关。其实不然，想一想，在我们身边，在我们的日常工作中难道就没有只须你的一举手一投足即可为节约工作做贡献的情况呢？
下班时随手关灯、关电脑，检查空调是否关闭，夏季没有必要开空调要及时关闭。检查水龙头是否关严，洗手、刷碗要及时关闭水龙头，注意节约用水；校验中遇到蒸馏操作，硅油应回收再使用。玻璃仪器损坏后不影响使用的，经加工后继续使用；自己动手制作小的实验工具。实验手套洗净后再次使用。在实验室里，有的时候在用水上可以多次利用，校表剩余的水可以留下拖地用；平常需要佩戴口罩以及手套，洗干净后可以再次使用；我们需要大量的热偶丝，它的成本要远远大于一般的铁丝，我们在在不影响工作的情况下，拆除废旧的热电偶用来绑扎，大大可以降低校验成本。还有很多很多可以节约的，这些都是我们可以做到的，谁说节约离我们太远，谁说那些只是领导的事呢？
古代圣贤曾经说过：“厉览前贤国与家，成由勤俭败由奢”由此可见勤俭多么的重要。抓节约，就是抓效益，就是抓发展；节能降耗就是维护每个企业员工的利益，就是维护企业的可持续发展和企业的未来。一个企业只有将企业发展与节约资源有机结合起来，才能真正地提升自己的综合实力和外部形象，才能真正将经济效益和社会效益达到和谐统一。企业发展壮大了，员工的经济收益也会有所提高，所以，节能降耗不光是领导的事，也是与员工息息相关的。其实，节能降耗就在我们身边，无论是在家里还是在工作中。它不是遥不可及，不是挂在口头，而是实实在在需要我们为之努力，是长期坚持才能见成效的事，是关及我们每个人身心健康和利益的事。
