Black Beauty
Black Beauty is a very interesting book written by British writer Anna Sewell.After reading the book, I was filled with emotion.In the book Anna told a story about a horse, whose name was Black Beauty.
Black Beauty was born in a stable owned by a kind farmer.He had a pure blood-relation, and was black all over, with the only exception of his right foot and a small mark on his forehead in the shape of the star.He also had all kinds of noble characters:loyalty, courage, resourcefulne, perseverance, kindne, and so on.Anyway, he was a rare perfect horse.
However, Black Beauty was ill-fated.He once encountered a kind master and experienced the happiest time in his life.Unfortunately, after he had been an adult, he started to be sold to different people, when his miserable life began.Since then, he was misused, was worn short reins and made friends with Ginger.He saved a master who had taken good care of him, but was racked by another brutal one.Luckily, he survived at last and had a good destination.
From the experience of Black Beauty, we can find different characters of humans.And the writer was aim to appeal to everyone caring for animals through the story.
As far as I’m concerned, as humans, we ought not use animals like using machines, but we treat them as our true friends.All the animals have their own emotions, and they bring a good deal of happine to our daily life.Besides, no matter what animal has it’s own advantages, humans can’t live without animals.If we treat animals with love like Black Beauty’s kind master, one day we will achieve something surprising in return.
Since humans and animals are equal, we should live with animals in harmony and create a pleasant home for all life.
