As soon as you feel too old to do a thing, do it
Is it impoible for an old people to pursue something he or she loves or wants? Of course not, everyone has the right to chase after anything he or she likes in spite of the age or some other barriers.There is a famous saying, it is never too late to start, which delivers the meaning that you should not hold the point that I have no time to do it or I just don’t want to do it, on the contrary, you still have much time and enough energy to do whatever you like so long as you really want to do.
As we can see, there are already many inspiring and animated examples have been set up for us all the time.I don’t know if you have heard about the news of some middle-aged people who finally realized their university dream even at their thirties or forties.Maybe some of them had tried many times to pa the college entrance examinations, but they failed; maybe some of them had got high scores and they were qualified for receiving higher education, but the limitation of money at that time broke their university dreams.Despite all of these setbacks, what counts is that they finally succeed in entering university after many years of struggle in the society, but they start over again as a freshman in the campus, and they study as well as live together with their clamates, even if they are so incompatible with those youthful, energetic and gorgeous boys and girls.
An American writer George William Curtis once said “age is a matter of feeling, not of years”.How should we understand it? Age is the accumulation and experience of life, only when you are full of the intelligence of life, can you be capable of dealing with big and important decisions.Some people say, do what you like while you are young.But, from Curtis’s point of view, you can do what you want even if you are not so young yet, as long as you have the paion and enthusiasm for it.What a nice and inspiring saying! So, why don’t we drop the sentence “time waits for no man”.Time is not the only neceity; time can’t take away your spirit, your ideas and dreams.As long as you feel you are ok, just do it, just remember, it’s never too late to start.
