Internet is very helpful For example, we can read the latest news online, and keep informed of what is happening around the world.We can chat with key pals and play games on the internet.In this virtual world, we can meet people from all walks of life and acquire lots of knowledge from them.In addition, we can also use internet to keep touch with friends using email, which is much faster than the regular mail.Then we can find jobs in the internet, on which there a vast amount of positions available.With the advance of technology and improvement of people’s living standard, the internet will be much popular in the future.It will benefit every as pet of our life and promote the progre of social civilization.二、Developing Economy or Protect Environment

Developing Economy or Protect Environment
It\'s an undeniable fact that with the rapid progre of economy, our environment is deteriorating.Some people believe that priority should be given to development of economy, but some conservationists argue that environmental protection is of the first priority, and that economy growth cannot be achieved at the cost of environment.
It seems that economic development and environmental protection cannot coexist at the same time.In my opinion, however, equal importance should and can be paid to the both aspects.
For one thing, economic progre can solve a variety of social problems, like unemployment, housing, medical care and education, etc.It can improve people\'s living standard on the whole .Like Mr.Deng Xiaoping said: \"development is the absolute principle.\" For another, environmental protection is of vital importance.We cannot expect to live a better life with the degrading environment, which may backfire in the certain aspects if left unprotected.So long as we keep a good balance of economic development and environmental protection, we can enjoy a better life.三、The Importance of Confidence

The importance of Confidence
Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence.If one has no confidence, there is little poibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships .This truth seems to be self-evident.However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they lack the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome .For someone, this might be true.But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart.
Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing some thing? There are, among others, two main reasons, First, these people do not have a correct estimate of themselves.Second, they overestimate the difficulties.It is poible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towardone\'s own abilities.We should never underestimate our abilities and should believe in the proverb: \"Where there is a will, there is a way.\" Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task succefully.四、Diligence is the key to Succe

Diligence is the key to succe.It means persistent work and does not mean that we are to exhaust ourselves all day and night without any rest.The true meaning of diligence is the careful use of time for the purpose of self-improvement.
Many people strongly believe in luck, which is a serious mistake.If luck does exist, it will never fall upon lazy bones.There are also some people who think that they are far superior to others in intelligence and therefore, do not need to study hard.They are sure about their succe, but too often they will be disappointed, as few of them can be succeful only with their so-called cleverne.
In fact, time is always fleeting and can never be re-gained.The really clever people are those who understand the importance of diligence and make it their habit.Those people are on the way to succe by their own efforts.五、Write a composition about Advertisement

However, as we all know that everything is a double-aged sword, advertisement may misdirect us to buy something that we do not really need.For example, actually we do not need to buy clothes or cosmetics, however, because of the advertisement which shows women the wonderful products, finally we buy them.

As we enter college, we find it so different from what was like in middle school! From friends to teacher, from dormitories to library, everything is fresh and new.However, the biggest difference between college and middle school should be the level of in dependence.
By independence firstly, I mean that every college student should make his or her own decision about everything, big or small, in life.The very basic everyday question is “what should I eat?” Also, without or with little “restriction” from the teachers, one should always make his own arrangements and find the balance between study and life, say other activities.For middle school students, the only theme of life is to study, and the other things, such as food and clothing, are all taken care of by parents.
The second meaning of independence is as follows: most college students are adults, which means they need to take full responsibility for whatever they do.Four years in college prepare students for the challenges and difficulties, they are about to face in society.As each day paes, we are under increasing preure, not only in
job-hunting, the pursuit of higher education, but also in love and marriage.No wonder the middle school students are “free from cares and worries” compared with college students.

Honesty Pays Off
There are various dishonesty phenomena in society nowadays.Some people even think such behavior as normal.However, I am convinced that honesty is the best policy.
I have been told to ask questions in cla since childhood.While, for most of the students, it is easier to say so, but it is harder to do it.After entering university, I am in a strong emotion to ask questions.But there is a dilemma.When everyone else topic will seem to be stupid.When everyone keeps silent, doubts will be doubles forever.But I choose to ask a lot of questions.Every time I do so, I get more knowledge.Meanwhile, the puzzle on other people\'s faces will disappear.In front of doubts, I choose to be honest.
In the following days, I\'ll keep asking questions in cla because honest always pays off.
