In terms of the companies, they can cut down cost by allowing their employees to work at home, which means that the cost of facilities such as computers, telephones and lamps will be declined drastically.Moreover, it provides the employees the independent working environment.People can work more independently without others’ disturb, and they may bring up some more creative ideas, contributing to the companies’ reputation.When it comes to the employees they are free to decide when to start the work and how to.Thanks to the policy, avoiding the traffic congestion, saving the fares of the traffic have all became the advantages of the policy.
It is undeniable that working at home may be benefit to both the employers and the employees, while, the disadvantages are also obvious.From my perspective, the efficiency will not be ensured by the policy.Employees are so free as to do their own things first, instead of completing the tasks of the companies’.Taking myself as an example, I augment my efficiency of study by going to the library, since I could help to watching TV, surfing the internet and listening to the music at home.The other disadvantage is that more and more companies require the team work.As we all know that face-to-face is the most efficient way to communicate, which cannot be replaced.Without working together, it would be difficult to fulfill the potential of the power of team.
