His smile
Beethoven imprees all the people for his talent in music.However, it imprees me most is the description about his smile.His smile is beautiful but unhappy because he seems be caught into miserable mood and can’t get rid of it.Why he smiles like that?
I think the reasons why his smile is so saline must be contained for three aspects.
What a musician is afraid of most? Of course, it’s deaf.Unfortunately, he is the one who has to suffer from it.The more someone loves an object, the more sadne he should bear when he loses it.If Beethoven is an ordinary person who has no relationship with music or not a genius in music, he may take it easier.Consider this and you can understand why I say his smile is saline is because of his deaf on the one hand.
Many men are deaf in the world but they are also happy for having the love from the people they love.How about Beethoven? He has a father who only wants him to gain much money.What’s worse, he loves a girl very much while she can’t understand his pain and at last she leaves him.He is deaf and can’t be filled with love and care so that his smile is saline.
After he is deaf and the girl he loves leaves him, the only thing supports him to live is his political conviction.He follows after freedom, equality and philanthropism but the society in his times forbids the progreive ideas like that so he only can expre it in his music.I think it’s a pity for him to see his country
still in feudalism throughout his life.That’s why I feel it must be one reason for his saline smile that his political ideal doesn’t come true before his death.
Beethoven is miserable all his lifetime.He isn’t used to smiling and his smile even doesn’t indicate his happine.The only way to comfort us after reading about his story is to make ourselves believe that he suffers a lot because he is taken on a heavy task.
