Hello everyone, my topic of the presentation is the relationship between doctor and the patient.
The chief criminal is the media.For most of the public, they all give mercy to the weak.However the patient will be identified as the weak obviously, when they have a confrontation with the hospital.The media always exaggerates(夸大) the facts deliberately(刻意的) in order to have the public’s attention.Then the public will spread the rumor what already has been rumor.At last the matter will grow out of control.
The formation of medical alarm(医闹) is the second factor.Under the influence of social economy, part of the people lost their moral bottom line.They try their best to get the interests.When the medical dispute(医疗纠纷) happens, they criticize the hospital in the name of guarding the patient’s right.When the hospital don’t agree with the plan they put up, they will resort to violence to achieve their aims.Striking the medical staff, obstructing the hospital’ normal order is their usual way.The profeional medical alarms have clear division of labors, they are more like criminal syndicate (黑社会) in form。
The health regulations are not perfect so that part of the medical staff do what they want to do in spite of the law.They ask the patients for interest; they prescribe(开处方) the expensive medicine to the patients when they take the medical representatives’ interests.Also the hospital buys many expensive machines, once the patients go to the hospital, they will be asked to do many examinations, and then the cost will grow high.But unfortunately when the medical dispute occurs, many patients dare not to find the doctors’ fault, so they go to the nurses to vent their anger.But we all know that high price of medicine is not the nurse’s fault just as high price of building is not the builder’s fault.
At last the patients’ attitude is not correct.Many people think if they are in hospital and they spend much money then the hospital must cure their diseases otherwise the hospital must pay for them.Then we think about this idea in return, if the hospitals just choose the patients they can cure, then what can we do?
Above all, I think that improving the doctor-patient relationship and solving the medical dispute can’t rely on just one side, it needs all of us’ effort.
Only when we contribute all of our effort to it, can we rebuild the relationship between the doctor and the patients.Thanks for your attention.
