1.My Happy Times During Winter Vacation
I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily.I can do many interesting things there.I am used to getting up early in the morning and
breathing the fresh air in the countryside.After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends.When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories.And I tell her some new things happening in the city.When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go.I really feel happy living in the country.
2.The Spring Festival
This year, I had an exciting spring festival.Do you want to know about it? Let me tell you!
First, I went to ocean park with my family in Hongkong.It was very relaxing there.I ate the sea food.I played with the dolphins!
It was really happy there!
Then, we went to the Disneyland.It was very romantic.We enjoyed our selves there.It reminds our mind to our childhood! If we will have another chance tour Hongkong.We will come there again!

3.The New Term\'s Plan
The new term is coming.I am excited.I will be in eight grades next term.I will be more hard-studying in next term.And I will pay more attention to study math and physics.In order to be more and more healthy and strong.I will do more exercise next term.In the new term, I will know more focus of the world because I will read more newspaper.
I hope the new term will come sooner.
4.How I have changed！
My life at weekends has changed a lot since last year.In the past I had to get up at six at weekends.After breakfast I hurried to school.It was always busy my leons——four leons in the morning and four in the afternoon.But now I don\'t have to go to school, of course I needn\'t get up so early.I can do what I like.For example, I can go out for a picnic with my friends, or play
basketball.In the evening, I used to do my homework or go over my leons, but now I can watch TV, surf the internet or do some reading, and so on.In the past, I didn\'t go to bed until half past ten, but now at half past nine.I have more free time than before!

In the east of China, there is a small city---Haimen.I was born there.Today, I am telling you about my hometown.Haimen is not far from Shanghai.It’s at the mouth of the Changjiang River.Haimen is a modern city.There are lots of high buildings in it.Most of us live in flats.We like to live in flats because we can be close to our friends.In the center of Haimen, there are many shops.You can buy some nice things here.Things in most shops aren’t expensive.You can pay a little money and they are yours.My hometown is a beautiful city.On each of the roads, there are some big trees and nice flowers.The roads are also very clean.They make people happy and comfortable.The seasons here are very nice.I like autumn best.It’s neither hot nor cold.A poem says “Flyer of summer come to my window to sing, then fly away.And yellow leaves of autumn, which have no songs, just fall there with a sign.” It’s very cool.I love Haimen.It’s a nice place to live.Welcome to my hometown.

Welcome to my hometown!Haimen is my hometown.It is a modern and busy town.It has a long history.There are many big supermarkets, beautiful gardens and good factories here.It is very easy to go shopping.You can see green hills, big trees and nice flowers.There are many restaurants in Haimen.You can enjoy Haimen goat.It tastes very delicious.Many visitors come here to enjoy it.
There are many good places to visit.There is a park and a big Shopping Mall.You can see films in Renmin Theatre.My school is one of the best schools in my hometown.It is on Changjiang Road.It is very beautiful.I hope you can come and visit soon.
9.Summer Vacation
I enjoy summer vacation very much.Because summer vacation is the longest vacation of the year.We have more than fifty days to rest.Though it is very hot, we can either go to swim or stay in the air-conditioned room.In the evening, I like to go shopping with my friends.We can eat many things in summer, such as ice creams, watermelons, grapes, and so on.In summer, I always go on a trip with my parents.It＇s a good chance for us to visit some nice interesting places
10.One Is Such a Bad Number
Why is one such a bad number? It is because when the date has this number in it, some bad thing always happens.Let me give you some examples.there midnight in Taiwan.the earthquake was very horrible.That night, there were about three thousand people that died in that accident.Many houses collapsed and the mountains moved.
America was attacked by terrorists on September 11 this year.the terrorists crashed into America\'s pentagon with an airplane.the terrorists used airplanes to hit many tall buildings in America.there were bombs inside the buildings.When the airplanes hit the tall buildings, the tall buildings and the airplanes exploded.About six thousand people died.How terrible that is! I think the terrorists were crazy.People say that the American emergency number is 911, so the terrorists chose September 11 to attack America.there was a big typhoon on July 11 this year in Taiwan.It\'s name was Toraji.Many cities were flooded.Some people died because of landslides.these dates all this \"one\" number.I really don\'t think \"one\" is a good or lucky number.So we have to be careful on dates with this number.
