新的英语课程改革正在全国展开，它将英语课程的总体目标确定为培养学生的综合语言运用能力，而这一能力的形成则建立在学生的语言技能，语言知识，情感态度，学习策略和文化意识等素养整体发展的基础之上。这一目标将英语课程从仅仅关注对学生知识与机能的培养提高到对学生整体素养的培养，既培养了学生英语语言运用能力，又培养其自主学习的能力和良好的个性品质，从而为其终身学习和发展打下基础。
下面是我在初三的一堂复习课，牵涉到定语从句和动词不定式做主语的运用，我试图通过中考题型，从听说入手，促英语写作水平的提高。因此这节课我首先设计了一个听的训练。让学生通过听一篇短文来告诉我他从中得到了什么，可以是复述，也可以是拓展；学生根据自己的英语水平进行回答。这是一个比较难的练习，原文是我班一个刚参加希望之星全国总决赛的同学的演讲稿，我希望通过此活动，带动那些成绩好的学生，让他们在真实的情景中主动的实践，体验和探究，来完成任务，提高语言表达和综合运用能力。这也是一个循环练习，从这期开始，我每天都让一组学生在听完一段短文或者看一幅图或是一句谚语后，轮流谈出自己的所听所感，最后再喊一个学生归纳总结，以此提高全体学生的听力水平，扩展他们的词汇和口头表达能力。

In my opinion a friend, no matter he is old or new to you, is a present you give yourself.As the Jewish saying goes: Who finds a faithful friend, find a treasure.（谁找到了朋友，谁就找到了财富）。 Now I’m standing here, I feel so grateful to my parents, my teachers and my clamates for what they have done for me..They’re all my best friends and they’re the oasis of my life.
任务型课堂教学强调让学生的注意力主要放在怎样利用英语作为交流的媒体来完成任务，而不只是关心自己所说句子的结构是否正确，这有利于帮助学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习英语的习惯，形成有效的学习策略。因此学生在听后反应不同，给出的答案也不一样，有的只听到一个字 “friend”，有的听到了 “old friend and new friend”，还有的 “friends are like the best mirrors，friends are the sunshine of life”.无论听到什么，只要他说出来，我都进行鼓励，最后几位同学把我平时教的一些句子及谚语等综合起来，进行了精彩的归纳，受到全班的喝彩，也使我感到非常的欣慰。真可谓“功夫不负有心人”。

“In my opinion, making friends is a very important part in our life.I wish to make as many friends as poible.The world is a big family, and we will feel relaxed in the friendly family.You will discover the world is full of flowers and happine if you have many good friends.
I wish some day we can all be good friends!”
“It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but the whole life to forget them.So value the people you have in you r life.They’re your friends.” 最后一个同学所回答的是我以前向他们所讲的故事当中的诗歌，他把它抄下并能在今天运用，真正做到了“在用中学，在学中用，为用而学”是值得称赞的，也证明平时的听说训练还是卓有成效的，值得继续推广。
接下来我就自然过渡到今天的课复习“定语从句”，我问大家 “Do you want to make friends? What kind of person do you want to be your friend?”学生的答案各种各样，有的基础较差，只会简单句，My friend can help me.我就接过来 “Yes, You want a friend who can help you with your study.” 由此而来后面的学生受到启事，知道用定语从句来造句了，一个又一个说起来。再引入“It is +adj + to do„”就更自然了,接过学生的话， “It’s important to have a good friend.It’s interesting to play with your friends.It’s good to speak English with your friends on your way home.不知不觉中，通过师生的对话将这两个语法点在交际中复习了一遍，再打开书，一切都迎刃而解了。
由听力活动引出语法的操练，使书中的大量练习能顺利完成，并过渡到说和写的提升，整个教学过程紧凑有序，教学任务层层递进，教学内容由浅入深，注意到了学以致用的原则，让学生真正成为了学习的主角。
总而言之，无论是复习课还是新课，我们在设计时都应从贴近时代，符合学生实际，重视创设外语环境，以学生为中心，从实用性，教育性和趣味性出发，以学生最熟悉的话题和情境，鼓励和刺激学生学习和使用英语，达到课堂教学的目的。
有一句教学格言：“你听，你忘了；你读，你记住；你做，你才能学会。”tell me and I’ll forget, show me and I may not remember, let me try and I will understand.也就是说：学生只有在使用语言进行交际的过程中才能真正学会语言，用好语言。只有这样的复习课才能受到学生的欢迎，使他们获益多多，达到事半功倍的教学效果;也只有这样的复习课才能符合新课标的教学理念，使学生真正成为学习的主人。
