Love the way you are I’ve heard for many times from many people complaining that they are not beautiful enough, that they are not thin, and that they are not talented enough in one specific aspect and thus looking down upon themselves and losing confidence.Actually, I was included in those long ago.I always started thinking, I was so ordinary and mediocre that I could easily be lost in the crowds and not be found by the world.What’s the point of being me, the ordinary me with nothing special? My best friend’s words totally changed me and made me rethink the point of being me.That friend was always the top student in our school and was so popular among the clamates so I always look up to him, hoping that one day that I could be as excellent as him.Being with him always made me feel small and find myself of no use and no good.But that day he softly said to me that he admired me all the time for my being faithful to what I want and that he was always moved by my deeper thoughts and some special talents and finally got to go on with me on his side and my special parts for he to catch up on.I was actually shocked and completely in a lo.I always put myself in a low place and found myself so tiny and usele compared to him, but it turned out he also found my shinning parts that he looked up upon and felt the shortage in he himself.We both are not perfect but we both see one another’s shining points.Maybe we are all used to seeing the bright side of the other brilliant people and forgetting what we indeed are.We see our weaknees and others’ shining part and started to question the meaning of our existence.We also look down on ourselves for our being not pretty enough or too fat or too short or not talented.But what I really want to say today is that we are beautiful just the way we are.Love your appearance and your quality for they are just the gifts from the above and they are what make you who you actually are.Nobody else in the world shares the same quality with you and you are so one and only.Hey if you are not beautiful, so what? It is not your beauty makes you unique but it’s your uniquene makes you beautiful.While you are looking up on others and hoping you could be them, try to imagine someone else in the world who is also admiring you and wants to be just like you.So stop complaining, nobody is perfect.Just begin loving yourself just the way you are.
