Good morning/afternoon/evening, ladies and gentlemen, my dear teachers and clamates.
I am very happy and actually, a bit nervous to meet you here.It is a great honor for me to communicate with all of you at such a special occasion.First of all, please allow me to expre my appreciation to you all to listen to me about JiBei High School in my heart.
As it is known to us all, our school was established in 1997 having a history of 15 years which is almost the same with my age.So when I was growing up, she was growing up at the same time.And now, JiBei High School is well-known in Shan Dong province with a scale of more than 4000 students.More and more students come here to pursuit their dreams.People around us as well as ourselves think highly of our school.Why? My dear friends, let me remind you of its beautiful school yard, its energetic teachers and its great achievements.Then you may realize the reason.
First of all, the buildings make our school stand out among the rest buildings around us.There are three main teaching buildings, three dining halls, several dormitories and some other buildings in the schoolyard.All of them are clean and tidy.Besides, lots of trees and flowers are dotted around us.No matter in which season, we can feel the vitality of life because of the plants.It is in the quiet claroom that we students bury our head in the ocean of knowledge; it is on the playground that we play football, chase each other happily; it is under the national flag that we dream our future and it is on the peaceful path that we walk hand by hand enjoying our pure friendship.All of this make it a wonderful place for us students to study and live.
When it comes to the teachers in JiBei High School, lots of people in society and students graduated from JiBei will speak highly of them from their bottom of heart.All of the teachers are hard-working and try their best to teach their students.They treat everybody equal never giving up any students.Who persist in teaching us year after year, who still work in the midnight for our homework, who accompany us when we are confronted with difficulties, it is our teachers.They did more than we can imagine.
Because of the great efforts that our teachers make, our school has achieved great accomplishment recent years.Countle students achieve their goal stepping into an ideal university with the help of our teachers.So in my opinion, the teachers are the soul of JiBei High School.
Last summer, when I stepped into this school with my little dream as a freshman, I was deeply attracted by the beautiful schoolyard, orderly teaching buildings and the warm-hearted teachers.And I knew, from that point, I would have a new start.Because almost everything here in JiBei is quite different from that of in junior middle school.When I saw the busy older students, I told myself you should do like them and try your best to study so as to make your dream come true.Now, l feel very lucky to be here, to be a member of the big family-----JiBei High School.Because this is just the place where I can achieve my goal.
At the end of my speech, I want thank the leads of the school, the teachers and other people who made great efforts to the development of the school.Thank you for your hard work that made the school better and better.As a little girl, I can hardly do anything to make our school better except studying hard.Today I am proud of my school and tomorrow my school will be proud of me.
