外教助教实习报告

烟台大学文经学院外语系毕业实习报告

I.The Company Introduction

The Weifang branch of Oscar Top English in Shandong province is a non-governmental school.It’s a trarning school by foreign teacher founded in Weifang.Our foreign teacher have great teaching exprience.They all have TEFL/TESL certificates.And always get along well with clamates.

Our foreign teachers from America, Canada and England, their mother language all english.In order to give the kids best teaching environent, we just receive 10 kids inside the cla.We alway orgnized some special activities every mouth, like play kite, outside cla , english competition , picking strawberries.Milk a cow.The foreign teacher will teaching some basic words in activities .All of those activities can help kids improve their english skill.The school hope every kids not only love english but speak english everyday.

II.Post Instruction

As a teaching aistant, our role is very big.Because we plan and operation leon.Before cla, we according to the textbook writing leon plan.The proce is a whole cla, this is for teachers, including the review content, new contents and cla games and so on.we accompanied foreign teacher, translation, keep cla order and remind teachers what to do next.The last half an hour, it is the English corner, the whole is my job, because teachers only on one and a half hours.This part also has a leon plan and it\'s system is very compact, because in this short half an hour, we need to help the children to review consolidate what they learn, at the same time into the warm up, game, song and dance elements.

We provides for low age children pure English learning environment, different from traditional teaching to take all the foreign teachers teaching pattern, using modern teaching tool, and cooperate with the teacher is good at TPR teaching, from the visual, auditory aspects of sensory stimulation, promote children gradual growth of the English language skills.

And sometime we have a lot of another work must finished like meeting parent, adjust the relationship between the students and Write a pre release.So the foreign teacher is very imporent position.

III.Practice Content and Procedure

1.As fireign teacher’s aistant we have 5 steps preparation :

At first -- Teaching plan : Before the next cla,aistant and foreign teachers must determine the specific time and contents of the cla next week.And ensure that foreign teachers write down the teaching plan of next time.

The second -- Teaching material: We have to prepare for all of the materials we needbefore next time, including books, cards, software and other suplementary materials.The third -- Cla time:We determine the time of foreign teachers in cla, to ensure that foreign teachers advance 10 minutes arrived according to schedule, and parent in advanc to confirm whether to try listening to lectures in on time.

And then -- Book and list: Ready to show parent materials and price list in advance.The last -- Preparation: An hour before cla, according to the number of people put table and chairs, and place the teaching aid to special place.

2.As fireign teacher’s aistant we have 4 steps for cooperation :

At first -- Teaching schedule: Aistant to ensure that foreign teachers teaching properly, if foreign teachers teaching did not go according to plan, after cla the aistant should asked the specific reasons, and make the detailed records.

The second -- cooperation: In the proce of teaching, aistant must cooperate with foreign teachers,and take care to every kid, let every kid feei happy.

The third -- Keep in order: Keep cla order and ensure the safety of every kids.

The last -- Record: For all students audition video for filing, record the state of each child’s performance at the scene.

3.As a foreign teacher’s aistant we have 4 steps summarization :

At first -- Claify: The end of the course, tidy up the desks and chairs.

The second -- The end of cla to record the performance of the children and parents demand, postioning and intention, and prepare for the second day of the callback work.

The third -- Callback: After the course, we should callback every parents in order to determine whether parents sign up , and make a detailed record.

The last -- Weekly meeting : At a conference in conference, aistant should discu

some cla detail with management communication.

IV.Comments on internship

Through this two mouths internship, Iget a lot of internship experience.

A.First of all: Let the students like english.

Let the students think english is not difficult.Confidence and interest s the mian component of intellgence factors, establish good self-confidence and to develop strong interest, and will play a positive role in learning english.And for a long time,students has formed a “difficult to learn english, oneself learn bad “psychological problems, it is the adverse effects brought english teaching , the main way to eliminate the psychological barriers is to teach students the correct learning methods.For example, you can take a variety of way to learn, rather than rote memory a certain knowledge.When the student use their learned knowledge to create new knowledge, learning english is not too difficute.

B.Make students believe in themselves.

Let students understand their learning outcomes.Student must obtain a certain achievements by learning, student understand their leaning results in time,including knowledge in the actual appliation, operation right and wrong to consolidate and develop their learning motivation.The teacher in the claroom for students oral answer to positive or negative, written profeional timely correcting, to let them know that their own progre, so that their learning attitude and methods to strengthen, inspire their learning the enthusiasm.Through feedback effects at the same time arouse their desire to do better, to overcome the drawback of the will, efforts to move forward.

C.To cultivate the student’s good habits.

Everyone has their own study habits are different from others.Good habit can help a person improve the learning good habits, through continuous accumulation, after repeated practice can be gradually formed.At the beginning of the students to learn english is a good time to develop good habits, otherwise, some bad habits once formed, it is difficult to change.When you read the text, pay a attention to the way and speed, is good at the fact, identify problems and infer unknown infermation.

Practice writing sentences, pay attention to punctuation, capitalization, the handwriting be clear.Develop finish homework at ordinary time, frequntly withreference books, scientific use of time and other good habits.

D.Form the correct learning strategies.

The so-called learning refers to the learning proce in order to improve the quailty of learning, learning efficiency of all kinds of activities.It involves learning goals, person knowledge, learning plan, learning method and skill, etc.Various factors related to learning.Such as how to understand, remember and use of words, sentence patterns,should adopt what kind of knowledge, in the form of undersanding, memory and uilization, etc.

E.The learning attitude.

1.To study hard.English is a communication tool.Learning english is to learn to skillfully use the toll’s ability.The main way master english is to practice.The proce of english learning is a proce of practicing kung fu.The language knowledge, must have enough practice, to grasp the knowledge of what they have learned, gradually achieve proficiency to apply.To understand and read english, can speak and write in english, also is to use the communication tools, must be study hard.

2.Tobe aggreive, boldly read, pay attention to overcome diffculties, shy to ask, the psychological barriers.

3.Must be persistent.To learn english, want to rely on to persist in learning, accumlate over a long period the most aviod is by fits and start.Started learning, novelty, the interest is very thick, long-term and difficulty of learning is often neglected.Many students began to learn very good, can\'t keep up with the gradually, for many reason, and be afraid of difficulties, not insist, is often one of the reasons.F.Improves own quality, lets the student teacher worship.

For student of English have not both strange and mysterious.Many children beginlearning English under the education of parents from an early age, some children in front of the school started teaching English has a deep basic English.So as a teacher is to students have craigslist, if students want to learn something, we must give the answer, or even have nothing to do with our teaching of language we also

want to master some how.Once, when I get our homework in cla, one student to another student said, Ruian, I said at the time; It is as you say, French, means China.He was surprised and said,\"teacher, can you speak french? I learn to my father, would such a word.I want to learn French, after looking for you.\"I said to him: \"as long as you are willing to learn, I must teach you.But you now we learn Englishwell in the first place.\" He has said 1: \"OK.Thank you very much, the teacher.\" In the later study, the students have been trying to forward, finished reading the English courses with excellent results.In other disciplines, the book can also see some English words.I think if a student asked, teacher\'s answer: I don\'t know.It will make students feel disappointed, and we will feel embarraed.I think the teacher to the students\' first impreion, will unconsciously give them study this subject.Learning is for the sake of application, with the purpose of the study, is also the motivation of learning.When students in language using the sweetener, improve interest and get succe, will buildup your confidence.At the same time, also can find problems in language use, and toind a way to solve, a simple mechanical practice is the understanding of language.So,We should study harder,play its guidance funcation.

V.Conclusion

Through this several months of internship, I have accumulated practical experience.And I also learned how to better overall planning, coordinate the relationship between the various aspects.And how to get along with colleagues, learn how to do a good job in a foreign teacher aistant and learned how to expre themselves in work.I really hope this job can let oneself learn to grow up.

As a foreign teacher’s asistant , we must have strong communication skill, keep positive attitude to communicate with parents and kids,is that they can keep a pleasant mood to study together.Through this internship, I deeply realized the importance of communicate skills, and continuously developing exercise their abilities in practice.Now I have been able to communicate with different kids ,and give them a good suggestions let them keep intresent to study english.

As a foreign teacher’s asistant, we must have strong communication skill, keep positive attitude to communicate with parents and kids,is that they can keep a pleasant

mood to study together.Through this internship, I deeply realized the importance of communicate skills, and continuously developing exercise their abilities in practice.Now I have been able to communicate with different kids ,and give them a good suggestions let them keep intresent to study english.

At work, I learned that a foreign teacher aistant and daily teaching management work is a “soft fire makes sweet malt”, seems to be a lot of very miscellaneous, only sorting through all things ready in advance, overall consideration, have a long-term perspective, which put the interest of students in the first place, to the daily teaching management work well.

No matter what difficulties encountered in the future work I will try my best to accept it, handle interpersonal relationships, trying to learn more knowledge, initiative to take responsibility, take an active part in various activities to increase my social experience.Increased my confidence, improve my thinking ability, solve and cognitive ability, broadened my horizons, smelting my sentiment, so that had a deeper understanding to the society.
