Preparation is the key.You need to make sure that you have a good topic and material under your belt.前期准备是关键。你需要确保你有一个好的选题和充分的素材。
1.Choose a good topic.

I think any topic can be a good one as long as it excites you and it is relevant to the audience.If you are enthusiastic about it, your audience will enjoy it more.Excitement makes you have more animation in the delivery of your presentation and thus a more effective presentation overall.任何激励自己、启发别人的题目都可以成为一个好的选题。只要你对那个话题充满激情，那你的听众自然会倍受感染而融入其中。激情使你在讲演中更具生机和活力，也使你的整个讲演更具效果。
2.Gather supporting materials.

Look through magazines, newspapers and the internet for relevant materials.Ask your friends or colleagues for content ideas.This will help you decide on the right angle and structure of your speech. 翻阅杂志、报纸以及上网搜索与选题相关的资料，向你的朋友或同事征求内容上的意见，这将有助于你确定演讲的正确视角和结构。
3.Piece together your ideas.

The body of the presentation should be well structured so it is easy to follow.You will want to have a few points with supporting pieces of evidence to fit each point.Make sure the evidence you choose relates to the point being made and is a strong support so that your audience will understand or be moved to action. 演讲的主体应结构明晰便于听众轻松跟上你的思路。你要列举一些适当的有说服力的论据来支撑你的每一个论点，确保你所选择的论据和你要陈述的观点紧密相联，并且为你的论点提供强有力的支撑，以便你的听众能够很好地理解或者受到激励而付诸行动。
The conclusion of a speech is just as important.This is like the grand final of a concert that will bring your speech to a climax.It could be a brief summary or a call for action.I always love a good rhetorical question that sets your audiences\' minds thinking.You don\'t have to raise your voice but a good question is all you need.演讲的收尾同样重要。它就像音乐会的终曲一样将把你的演讲推向高潮。你可以做简单的总结或是呼吁大家行动起来。我一直喜欢以一个绝妙的、发人深省的提问收尾。你不必提高嗓音，只需要一个好的提问就足够了。 4.Practice and rehearse.

Begin by using parts of your speech in conversation with friends and colleagues.Does your friend seem to be influenced by the evidence? 1.Use your eyes

Keeping your audience alert and interested is a key factor in your delivery.Ideally you want to make each member of the audience feel as though you\'re talking directly to them.They all want to feel connected.If you achieve this then you will have an audience whom you can then inspire with your words. 保持听众对你的演讲的兴趣和注意力是关键。理想中我们都希望听众能觉得你的演讲是在直接和他们谈话。他们都想有被心灵联通的感觉。只要你做到这点，那接下来你就可以用你的语言激励他们了。

Vary the tone, pitch, speed and sentence length of your speech.Speak clearly and slowly, pausing after each important point.Remember don\'t rush.
采用变化多样的声调、语调、语速以及长短变换的句子，每个重点部分要注意发音清晰、语速缓慢并稍作停顿，不要竹筒倒豆子。
You can use the pitch and tone of your voice to help emphasise descriptive sections of your speech, helping you create pictures in the minds of your audience.For instance a phrase such as \"the train rushing through the station\" would benefit immensely if you emphasis the word \'rushing\' and imitate that rushing sound in your voice. 你可以通过声调、语调的变化强调演讲中描述性的部分，帮助听众在脑海中勾勒画面。比如，说“火车冲出车站”时，你要强调“冲”并模仿“冲”的声音，效果将好得多。

Effective use of body language is advisable.However don\'t want to overdo it.When people are nervous they can be at one of two extremes.One is rigid, robotic appearance; the other is an ultra-high energy performance.You would want to strike a nice balance between the two and make yourself as natural and comfortable as poible.
有效地使用肢体语言是明智之选，但是不要做得太过。人在紧张的时候容易走两个极端：一是动作过于死板，像机器人似的；再就是动作太过夸张。你要努力在两者之间做好平衡，使你尽可能地显得自然和令人感到舒服。
Last but not least, don\'t take it too seriously.I know this sounds a bit illogical but psychologically it works better that way, because you are le nervous and more confident. 最后，不要太严肃。这似乎听起来不合逻辑，但从心理学的角度讲，那样会更好些。因为那样的话，你能消除紧张、充满自信。
