Good afternoon，reverend profeors and teachers.I’m glad to be here for this interview.My name is PliebeL and I’m 22 years old.I come from Lu An city of Anhui province and I’m gonna graduate from the School of Mechatronic (Mechanical and Electronical) Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology this summer.
As you will see, I’m open-minded, creative, responsible and diligent.I’ve participated in much internship in and outside school.For instance, I once worked for an air conditioning compreor production base in Qingdao for a month, where I knew some details about the pump line production.On campus, I take an active part in all kinds of activities.I’ve listened to a lot of lectures and I tried my best to improve my oral English level and finally I got the certificate of the English Interpretation level IV last year.And I also paed the Exam of CAD Skill Grading and some other skill examinations.
I like reading, running and table tennis; by the way, I play with my left hand.And I also like calligraphy.Besides English, I can speak a little bit German like “Gutten Tag! Ich heiβe PliebeL, und Ich liebe der Shanghai Universitat.” You know just a little bit and I’m working on it.Of course I love watching movies and enjoying music whether domestic or abroad because they can bring me more pleasures.Maybe for the hobbies I’ve met many friends and teachers including some American and Pakistan who share the same major with me.They do give me a lot of help.
Speaking of my undergraduate major mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, I love that because through this major I’ve learned a lot of things.[For instance, theoretical and material mechanics tell me how to analyze the forces implemented on all kinds of objects and how to solve mechanic problems with so many fabulous methods.The principle of mechanics tells me how to turn a four-bar linkage mechanism into a slide-crank mechanism and many other things.The design of machinery let me know how to design a belt, a chain, a spur gear, worm and worm gears, bearings, shaft, coupling and a system using all of them.The programmable controller and the principle of Microcomputer tell me how to write a program and let it control the machine.The electronics tell me deeply how to make a small signal strong enough to drive what you want.And By Matlab, matrix laboratory, we can check if the system is stable enough to meet the demand we set.And also by finite element Ansys, we can also check whether the material is strong or not.And there are also many other things] Of all these I’m especially interested in robot technology engineering, you know something about intelligence and automation and control.Therefore I’ve chosen the design of mechanical arm with elbows, wrist and hand as my graduation design.Maybe I cannot make it do many things but I am doing what I like.I am following my heart.And I determine to put more time into this field study during my future graduate learning years if you can give me the chance. I am clear that the future road is just beginning and there is a long way to go.I hope I can get the opportunity to further my learning here and I believe through my hardworking I can do better in the beautiful university! Thank you so much! 2.对家乡的看法 My hometown is named Shou county, which is a very old county.2000 years ago, it was the vice-capital of Chu dynasty and nowadays it is a very famous place for tourism.My hometown has no big factories or famous companies.But it is a very quiet place to live.I love that.
3.reasons for my choice Two reasons should be responsible for my choice.Firstly, facing the ever-rapid changing modern world, I have to learn more knowledge and be more profeional in my field and only through graduate learning can I learn more knowledge and make more contribution to the society.Second, shanghai is one of the biggest cities in the world and I believe through my hardworking I can become more competitive in shanghai university if you can gimme the opportunity.
4.读研的计划plan for the graduate learning
If I luckily get the opportunity to further my learning here about robot technology, I will concentrate my energy on my study and research in my field.If I don’t, I will still concentrate on my research in other field because I know exactly how this school’s president Qian Weichang has done during his lifetime—putting all his energy into where the country need! Besides I will continue learning English and German in the future years because I know it will change my life some day! And I get the opportunity, I will continue getting my doctor here because being a good teacher with doctor is one of my favorite careers. 5.Abstract for Qian Weichang Qian weichang was born in Wuxi of Jiangsu province.He is the father of Chinese modern mechanics and also a very famous scientist, educator and social activator in the world.Just like Tien Xiue Sen, he was honored to be one of the Chinese characters moved.I think everyone should remember him and his love for the country.
6.第几次来上海，来干什么的
This the third time for me to be here.In the first time I came here and cried for home and in the second time I drove my Uncle’s bike to the Huangpu River and appreciated the Oriental Pear Tower.It was crazy.7.If I get the chance to go abroad, I will choose Germany first, then America and Japan.It is because I want to go there learning sophisticated technology and then make more contribution to my country.Besides, Germany is also a very beautiful country according to one of my German teachers and I really want to have a travel some day.
8.My favorite subject is the principle of mechanics and something about electronics and control because it tell me how everything happens in our design proceing.Sometimes you it has a lot of fun when you figure out how to turn a four-bar linkage into another mechanism or have them go a amazing walk.And I also like language, you know English and I’m working on it.
9.My graduation design began very late.A month ago, we started by going to visit five places about textile manufacturing machine and writing the internship report afterwards.And with the help of my teachers I have chosen the design of transfer robot as my graduation design.We are going to use the actuating motor as the drive.As to the transmiion we chose the pinion and rack, gears, and four-bar linkages.We are going to do the 3D modeling, dynamic simulation and relevant analysis.I know doing all the design is a huge thing but I like it and I will try my best to accomplish it. 10.
The greatest merit is that when I was asked to cope with a subject or a problem, I will persist until I succeed.My weakne is that I am not good at sports because I didn’t give it too much time.I loved that bur I also thought playing basketball was taking away my precious time so I just played about once a term.But now I I figure it out and I’m trying to improve my ball level.Maybe I can be a good player someday.
