一、开场
A:Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.Welcome to the 2013 “FLTRP Cup” English Public Speaking Contest.We are your hosts tonight.I am A, and beside me is Mi B.B: 各位尊敬的领导、老师，各位同学们，晚上好！欢迎来到2013年“外研社杯”英语演讲大赛广西艺术学院赛区决赛的现场。我是主持人B，我身旁的这位，是我今晚的搭档A。
A： Thank you B, I’m honored today to co-host this year’s speaking contest.Since FLTRP started this contest in 2002, it has drawn the attention of thousands of young people and has proven to be the most prestigious English speaking competition in China.It aims to promote English language learning in China and to bridge the different cultures of the world.
B：很荣幸能成为今晚的主持人。从2002年开始举办的“外研社杯”英语演讲大赛致力于促进英语学习和文化沟通，一直吸引着众多年轻英语爱好者的目光，也成为了中国最受关注的演讲比赛之一。
A: This is the 11th time that FLTRP has organized this contest.We hope it will be a good opportunity for the participants to display their talents in language and public speaking.We also hope that you, the audience, will enjoy this exciting contest and benefit from what you hear.
B：今年是“外研社杯”英语演讲大赛的第十一年。我们期待着今晚的选手向我们展现他们出色的语言才能和演讲能力。我们相信，今晚前来观战的观众必能享受到一场英语的盛宴。
A: Ladies and gentlemen, Now, let’s go over the rules of the contest.
B: 现在，我们先来介绍一下比赛规则。
A: Each of the contestants has 3 minutes to present a prepared speech, 2 minutes to answer questions raised by the judges.During the prepared speech, a staff member will raise a red cardboard as a signal that there are only 30 seconds left.Well, the total score of the first part --- prepared speech accounts for 60 scores.And the question and answer part accounts for 40 scores.
B: 比赛分为两个环节：定题演讲和评委提问。每位选手有三分钟的时间进行定题演讲，然后回答评委提问。演讲时间剩下30秒时，工作人员将举牌提示。演讲时间到，工作人员将再次举牌提示。比赛满分100分，其中定题演讲60分，评委提问40分。
A: After dramatic auditions and semi-finals, this is the one we’ve all been waiting for! 17 contestants will show the best of themselves tonight! This will be an interesting and exciting contest!
B: 经过激烈的初赛和复赛，我们今晚将看到17位选手的精彩演讲。我都迫不及待了！
