Reactions and comments: This fiction can be divided into four parts. In each part Jane Eyre stays in one place. The first part Jane Eyre is in the Gateshead, she is with her aunt and cousin. Her cousin, John, often beats her, and her aunt Mrs.Reed even always abuses her.All members in that family treat her heartlely. In their eyes, Jane Eyre is little, ugly, timid, and is a “little thing” having no clear identity.Jane Eyre said one sentence which leaves me deepest impreion, when she heard that her aunt Mrs.Reed tells Mr.Brocklehurst she is deceitful, Jane Eyre said to her aunt: “I am not deceitful, if I were, I would say I love you; but I declare I do not love you.I dislike you the worst of anybody in the world except John Reed.I will tell the people at Lowood you treated me with miserable cruelty, I will say the very thought of you makes me sick.” And from these words said by Jane Eyre we can infer her self-respect and independence exists since she is a little girl. And in the second part of this fiction Jane Eyre gets away from the Gateshead and becomes a pupil of Lowood. It is a turning point of her life.Although the food and surroundings there is extremely bad and Mr.Brocklehurst humiliates Jane Eyre with his vicious words, Jane Eyre experienced something happily. She meets her abecedarian whose is called by the students Mi.Temple.And she also gets a real friend Helen Burns.Mi.Temple helps her wipe out the accusations charged by Mr.Brocklehurst and tell the other students that Jane is a good girl.Helen Burns becomes the best friend of Jane, but unfortunately Helen dies because of pulmonary phthisis and Jane lost her best friend.Jane stays in Lowood for eight years, six years as a pupil and two years as a teacher. In the third part of the fiction, Jane Eyre moves to Thornfield and works there as a governe. Her pupil’s name is Adela, and this little girl is an adopted daughter of Mr.Rochester, the Master of Thornfield.Jane lives a better life in Thornfield, because Mrs.Fairfax and her master Mr.Rochester both treat her kindly. After a few months Jane falls in love with Mr.Rochester, and Mr.Rochester also shows his deep love to Jane Eyre, so they want to get married with each other. However, Jane knows from others that Mr.Rochester has already married for a long time and his wife is still alive.Jane is overwhelmed with sorrow and decides to leave Mr.Rochester.So she gets away from Thornfield. In the fourth part, Jane Eyre’s fate totally changed.Jane is rescued by St.John Rivers and lives with him and his two sisters. Then St.John Rivers find a job for her in a school, and she goes there to live her life. One say St.John comes to tell her that her uncle leaves her an inheritance worth of 20000 pounds, and he and his two sisters are all Jane Eyre’s cousins! Jane is shocked, but soon she decides to divide this heritage into four parts and give each of her siblings one part which is worth of 5000 pounds. Here we can see the generosity and kindne of Jane Eyre.In the end of the story, Jane goes to see Mr.Rochester who is disabled in a big fire of Thornfield. When Jane gets there and knows his wife is dead, she decides to marry Mr.Rochester and take care of him for the rest of his life.In this part Jane Eyre says to Mr.Rochester: “I will be your neighbor, your nurse, your housekeeper.I find you lonely, I will be your companion, to read to you, to walk with you, to sit with you, to wait on you, to be eyes and hands to you.Cease to look so melancholy, my dear master; you shall not be left desolate, so long as I live.” This sentence leaves me a deep impreion for that it shows the loyalty, perseverance and unswerving love of Jane Eyre to Mr.Rochester.Although Jane is short in height, her soul becomes immensely huge and pure in the Readers’ eyes.In this novel, the author makes a female image that is against social preure. Her name is Jane Eyre. And among all the characters in this story, I like her better than anyone else. Jane Eyre is an orphan child with a fiery spirit and a longing to love and be loved. She is plain and poor.On her way to seeking the ideal life of happine, she encounters many hardships and frustrations, and takes a series of unyielding fights. She is brave, enthusiastic enough to change her tragic fate through her own strong unyielding rebellious character. All appraise her fiery spirit, her hatred of self-righteousne, her love of truth, and her yearning independence and equality. It is known that the most famous works of Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre, is very popular all over the world. The image of Jane Eyre is deeply planted in our mind.Jane Eyre starts her life with an orphan and no money, inferior position and terrible family environment. She is not pretty but she is brave and tough. She might be only a little figure but she is the master of her own life.Whatever condition it is, she insists on her view. Her common looking and poverty don’t prevail over her struggling spirit and ideal.Jane Eyre’s strong self-respect and confidence leave a deep impreion on every reader. She struggles for equality on economy, marriage, personality and social status. It is the most important aspect that attracts readers.Jane Eyre is worthy to love and to be loved. Her love is based on equality and independence, having nothing to do with status, power or property. She is not tempted with money and doesn’t want to be mistre of Rochester for money. Her love is loyal and steadfast.Jane Eye needs true love, and she overcomes the obstacles in the proce of pursing true love.At last, she succeeds and lives a happy life with her lover Mr.Rochester.Through the analysis of Jane Eyre’s character, it is known that whatever difficulties one encounters in his life, facing them bravely is the only way that one can do.Everybody has the rights to pursue happine, to pursue the true spirit of life, which can be seen from Jane Eyre’s independence and toughne.
