Hello, everyone.At first ,please allow me to introduce myself.My name is Liuhui.I’m 27 years old.And I am working in Huayue Electronic Engineering School now.I have been working as an English teacher for about three years.I like English very much, And I like my students, too.Thanks to my English teacher in the middle school.I hope that I’ll be an excellent teacher like her.Thank you very much!
Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas.This is a new unit.Unit 4,Welcome to our party!It is made up of three parts.Part 1 My understanding of this leon
The analysis of the teaching material: This leon consists of two activities, listening，a dialogue.It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit.By studying the content, Ss can improve their listening and oral ability, they will do some listening and read a dialogue about how to serve the guests. Teaching aims:
1.Knowledge aim: Learn the expreions how to serve the guests and respond the host 2.Ability aim: Talk with each other freely.3.Emotional aim: Make the Ss love English.Key points / Teaching important points:
How to understand the dialogue better.Teaching difficult points:.Use English to expre themselves and communicate with others.
Part 2 My teaching theories, methods and aids
Before dealing with this leon, I’ll do my best to carry out the following theories: Make the Ss the real masters in cla while the teacher himself acts as director； Combine the language structures with the language functions.Teaching methods: Double activities teaching method Question-and-answer activity teaching method Free discuion method Pair work or individual work method Teaching aids:

I have designed the following steps to train their ability of listening,speaking, especially speaking ability.The entire steps are:
Greetings, Revision, Lead-in, Listening, Conversation, Homework Step 1 Greetings
Greet the whole cla as usual.Step 2.Revision
1.Ask students some questions to review the last leon.2.Check the homework.Through this part we can consolidate what they studied.Step 3.Lead-in
Show them some pictures and let them talk with each other, and then use the pictures about language to learn new words, for example,host,guest,coffee, and so on.Purpose: Arouse the students’interest of study.Bring in new subject: Welcome to our party ! Step 4.Listening ( Dialogue: Would you like something to drink?)

Train the Ss’listening ability and do the three activities below.Listen carefully and try to get the major information.1) Listen and tick.(Tick the right relationship between Li Xiaonian and Mrs Smith) ( ) friends ( )teacher and student ( )host and guest 2) Listen and judge.(Listen again and judge the sentences with True of False) ( ) Mrs Smith wants to drink coke without sugar. ( ) Mrs Smith wants to drink coke with sugar. ( ) Mrs Smith wants to drink coffee without sugar. ( ) Mrs Smith wants to drink coffee with sugar.3) Listen and complete.(Listen again and complete the short conversation) Li Xiaonian: Hello,Mrs Smith! _______ to our party! Mrs Smith: _______, Xiaonian! Li Xiaonian: Would you ______ something to drink, Mrs Smith? Mrs Smith: Uh, coffee, _______.Step 5.Conversation 1)Watch the disk about the conversation carefully.Purpose: Catch the main idea.2)Read the conversation carefully Purpose: Understand the dialogue （Train reading ability） to find out some key sentences.3)Explain the whole conversation carefully, especilly the key sentences.Give some examples to practice the expreions.4)Play in role,work in pairs,in row, in group, boys ask,girls answer, and girls ask, Boys answer.5)Ask five pairs to perform the dialogue on the platform.The other students will be the judges.They give a fair mark to the five pairs according to three factors, pronunciation 10’sound 10’and action 10’Some groups can get 27’or 28’That’s a high mark.If it is the first time,I will encourage them with more marks.So the Ss are full of self-confidence.6)Read the conversation and underline the sentences of serving guests.Step 6.Homework 1.Review what we have learnt today.2.Finish the exercises on the workbook.

In my opinion, the blackboard design can reflect the teacher’s ability of mastering the leon and leading the students to master the leon easily.In this leon,I write the two parts on the blackboard in order to tell the students that this is of the importance in this cla.I want to make the design inductive, instructive and artistic.That’s all!Hope to get your advice!
