universal grammar 普遍文法 universal、usual、general、common等词的区别：
universal 预期较强，侧重对每个人或事物都适用，没有任何例外。 usual 指常见、常听和常做的事或举动，强调惯常性。
general 与universal同义，但语气较弱，指一般都是如此。 common 多指物，侧重指常见，不稀奇。 English is a universal language.英语是一门通用语言。
