As we all know, although the majority of our Chinese students have learnt English for many years, they can not master all the English skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.And so am I.I think I do best in English reading, but quite poorly in listening.Much more efforts are needed for me to make to improve my English listening.I planned to do as the following four aspects.First, I will have to increase my vocabulary.Words are the most basic in English.For some people, it is enough if they know about 5000 words.In our daily lives, we usually use only 2000 words.With these 2000 words, we have no problem in general communication.When we don\'t know the word that in the sentences, we can gue what it means according to words that we have known.
Second, copy-pronounce.I can copy the pronunciations of both my English teacher and the foreigners in American films.This one is the most important in learning English.Also it is basic for my English.I decide to copy all times when I speak English, and don\'t speak my own pronunciation.
Third, reading loudly.Reading sentences or texts aloud can make me know how I pronounce.Comparing the differences between pronunciation of myself and the authentic American pronunciation, I can correct my pronunciation.Besides, reading aloud and fast may improve my speed of speaking English and make me speak fluently.
Fourth, speak bravely and loudly.Communication is a quite important way to improve our English speaking.I should take any chances to communicate with other people in English.During the contacting proce, I will have to listen to others carefully and try to make them understand myself, which can spur me to use the words that I have mastered.
I believe my speaking English will have a noticeable improvement by my continued practice.
