The feminism that reflects in this novel has been attractive to people all around the world. As everyone knows, feminism refers to movements aimed at establishing and defending equal political, economical and social rights and opportunities for women. It brings about equality between men and women in the universe.

The feminism is well represented in Jane Eyre\'s personality.Resistance is the most outstanding one in Jane Eyre\'s personality. When Jane Eyre lives in her uncle’s home, she is treated with great cruelty. She is not chosen to be patient.Though she is a little girl, she fights against cruelty with her own way. When she is bullied by her cousins, she cries back like a crazy cat.Mrs.Reed decides to send her to Lowood and tells others that Jane Eyre is a liar.Jane Eyre takes her own manner to retort her.“I am glad you are no relation of mine.I will never call you aunt again as long as I live.”

When Jane Eyre comes to Lowood, she makes friends with Helen.Faced with the poor condition of Lowood, Helen chooses to suffer in silence.Jane Eyre tries to follow her, but she fails. She says:“ if I were in your place I should dislike her; I should resist her.” It just shows Jane Eyre’s rebellious personality which pursues equality, freedom, independence and human dignity.

The feminism also reflects in Jane’s the courage of pursuing equality. In Jane Eyre’s opinion, men and women should have equal rights in spirit. That’s the reason why she is brave to love Mr.Rochester.Though they are separated by social position, she is so brave to love. She believes that people are equal in spirit.Though Jane Eyre has a low social position, she is brave to fight against social prejudice. In her own mind, she is her own master.Although she is deeply in love with Rochester, She is willing to be against her loved ones for equality. This is the personality that makes her eventually win Rochester’s love. Her maintenance of equality between men and women can be seen as her yearning for freedom and equality.
