Jane Eyre in My Eyes

姓名:王琦 学号:2008141115 班级:双学位2班

Jane Eyre, a marvelous soul created by the writer succefully has won a considerable number of readers’ hearts. After closing the covers of the book, I just feel like having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, who is an outstanding figure, has left me so much to recall and to think.Jane Eyre’s story reflects vividly that she is a poor but confident, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl.

In the beginning, Jane was an orphan, whose parents had died away when she was a little girl.As a result, she was sent to her aunt’s home, where she spent a period of unpleasant time.Faced with her brother’s insult and her sisters’ despise, she chose to be indifferent and kept striving for life. After arriving at Logwood Orphanage, she was curious about all the things and worked hard on all the subjects, and finally she got a job as a governe in the Thorn field by her excellent records.Even though she was poor, she was never frightened by the difficulties; Even though life was tough on her, she showed unconquerable spirit fight against it and went for what she wanted.

What’s more, during her stay in the Thorn field, she got on very well with lovely Adele and the garden’s owner-Rochester.All the people in the garden loved her so much; including Mr.Rochester, impreed by her noble temperament.During the party, when Mi Ingram met Jane Eyre, she seemed quite contemptuous, for that she was obviously much prettier than ‘the plain and ugly governe’.But as the little governe had said: ‘Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulle and heartle? You think wrong!’ In Jane’s eyes, there were differences between appearance, social status and property, but all the souls should be of same equality.Despite that she had not outstanding appearance, she had the right to love, she had the right to seek for her own happine. At that moment, I was moved by her courage and the idea of equality, and I felt the power inside her body strongly.

Finally, Mr.Rochester and Jane fell in love with each other deeply and prepared

to marry, but unfortunately when they get married, Jane Eyre know Rochester has a wife, she felt she had to leave, although she said, \"I want God to comply with the law iued by the world recognized, I would like to stick to living a sober and sometimes I was not as so crazy now when accepted principles.” But speaking from the heart, deeper love Jane realized that she was cheated, her self-esteem has been teased because of her love for Rochester. As a result, she made up her mind to leave without hesitation. To my comforts, Jane returned to the Thorn field at last and chose to stay with her beloved, and she said: ‘Never in my life have I been awaken so happily.’ This was a happy ending to the whole story. For Jane, life maybe always changing, but she would never betray her principles. She had a good understanding of self-respecting, and she didn’t expected to de looked down on by others, and that is the character admired by numerous readers. As far as I am concerned, I learn a lot from the dare-to-do spirit of Jane, and you should know well about what you want and spare no efforts to seek for it, including happine ,dreams ,health ,wealth and so on.Just like Jane, she dared to seek for her love against the social forbiddance because of her idea of equality, especially at that time, which was so rare and seemed impoible, but she made it though her

confidence, courage, toughne and persistence. And Jane’s words: ‘Because I am pennile, remains obscure, the appearance is mediocre, the stature is thin and small, does not have the soul, did not have feelings - - you to think mistakenly, my mind was equally rich with you, my heart same enrichment!’ will keep company with me forever!
