Since the succeful individuals are getting younger, many companies began to raise young bloods into high positions in recent years.And there comes to be an argument on whether employees, especially the high positioned employees, should retire when they are 55 years old.I regard they should be dismi for the following reasons.First, it is good for releasing the preure of employment.Along with the development of science and techniques, fewer people are required during production proce, while the population is on-going expanding.As a result, it is increasingly difficult for a newly graduate to get a job.If the old get ret ired earlier, there will be much more opportunities for the youth to earn their own lives.Second, young people have their own superiority that they obtain the most advanced knowledge as well as the youthful spirit.Since the knowledge is exploding at present, the old can no longer keep the same pace with the society.However, the youth are able to promote the society forward.And as they are young, there would be nothing seriously, such as families and children, troubling them.So, they can devote all their spirit to their work.Third, it is good for old people to retire and enjoy their later years.Generally speaking, people over 55 years old have worked for 30 years or even longer and have already created their contribution to the world.They should have the right to enjoy themselves after a whole life working.Moreover, their physical status would sharply descend while age going older.What they need is not to earn more money, but to have a rest.In conclusion, now that people retire at the age of 55 can ease the social preure and promote the world development; it should be encouraged or ev en be made juridical.--------------------范文2 Companies should encourage old employees (55 years old) to retire, in order to give opportunities to the new generation.To what extent do you agree or disagree? 4、要看到,有很多55岁以上的人在工作上并没有受到他们的年龄的影响,而他们自己也没有要退休的意思,如果硬性规定他们退休,实际上是在剥夺他们就业的权利。

All in all, it is unreasonable to let older people retire at a definite age.Whether or not to one retire should depend on one’s working ability.The best way is to employ fresh man and study with old expert, in this way both of old and fresh men will produce a marked effect.

Apparently, it would seem that the older employees who are over 55 years old should be encouraged to retire for providing more opportunities to the new generation.In fact, however, older people should be allowed to continue their work.It will be benefit not only companies, but also individuals.

Among countle factors which influence my inclination, there is a most conspicuous one: the experienced employees are intangible aets of a company.As we know, the value of an enterprise is to be found not in its tangible aets, but in intangible ones: people, ideas and key strategy, especially the experienced older employees.Compare to young people, older employees accumulated the abundant experience in their long-term work time.Thus, if employers ignore the value of those people, and insist the their stubborn decision that over 55 years old employees should be retired, it will be a losing for the company eventually.

The second factor relates to individual aspect.Many old people consider jobs as an indispensable part of their lives.If once they are retired suddenly, some of them may feel uncomfortable, even unacceptable.This kind of huge change in their minds may result in some psychological diseases, such as blahs.Obviously, as for many elders, job does not mean money simply, but they are provided a chance to enjoy their rest time.

In summary, judging from all the evidence offered, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that older employees over 55 should have rights to go on their work.And, I do believe that, as time paes, more and more people and companies will come to realize the merits of older employees.
