The Parent Trap, the Idea Introduction Accidentally, I saw The Parent Trap.I laughed and cried while watching.Because it is very romantic and funny, including moving.The Parent Trap is a 1998 family film.It tells the moving story of a pair of identical twins who don\'t even know each other exists -- until they accidentally meet at summer camp.I like it very much and I am shocked by the film.So I would like to share with you.
The main plot is that Nick Parker and Elizabeth James met and married each other during an ocean cruise on the QE2.Elizabeth gave birth to twin daughters Hallie and Annie, but the couple divorced and lost contact with each other.Neither twin knows about the other\'s existence until a chance meeting at summer camp.Realizing with delight that they are twins, the girls hatch a plan to meet their previously unknown parents: Each girl will train her twin to impersonate her, and they will switch places at the end of the summer, and the girls scheme to get their parents back together. The last, the twins feels so happy to see their parents reunited through their efforts.The film ends with a big happy family reunion, Nick and Elizabeth have a second wedding. This is just the main plots, also, there are some interesting details.You maybe never conceive of how about the scenes where they meet their other parent for the first time and the adventure of two twins that meet unintentionally after never having seen each other before.Both of them are miing either a father or a mother, and they desire to put the pieces together.Not only the roles were casted brilliantly, making this film the top on my list, but also the story itself is great entertainment and I have some ideas about it.My Point of View on the Relationship between Parents and Children.Despite the film has a 12-year history, the topic of the film still worth considering.
2 The happy ending, everyone wants to encompa and wants a happy family.Especially the divorce rate is rising now, having a happy family become more and more difficult.
After watching, I have a better understand about what is family, what is thicker than water.I have a further thought about the phenomenon of divorce in society today.I also consider an inevitable question: Just how much quality time has each girl really had with Mom or Dad now? The next I introduce my own point of view by three parts.Firstly, What is family
We all know that our family is an integral part in our life.When we was born, destined to have father and mother.Both roles are irreplaceable, our mother take good care of us and look after our daily life, our father protect us from hurting as mountains.As if God has arranged that the two are indispensable, family is so delicate.In the film, Hallie did not have mother, Annie did not have father, both of them are miing either a father or a mother, when realizing with delight that they are twins, they hatch a plan to meet their previously unknown parents.
I deeply remember the scene when Hallie first met her mother, She was crying and said that I\'m sorry, it\'s just I\'ve mied you so much, and Elizabeth said it seems like it\'s been forever.This was true to her.When I saw this scene, It was touching and brought a tear to my eye.As the same, when Annie first met her father, She kept calling his father, in each sentence, the Dad should be added.
After 11 years, they met again.Hallie and Annie all looked exciting.I think such excitement was indescribable.Also we can see how eager they were to see their parents.The time did not dilute theirs desire of meeting their parents.Perhaps you can understand what is family and what is thicker than water.They had dreamed of meeting the other parent on their whole life.That is the reason why many people moved by the film. Each parent rose one of the twins without telling her about her sister.They separated them without their content.When they realized they were twins, the
3 arrangement really sucked for them.They both loved the other parent instantly and wanted them to get back together.They decided to switch places.You can surprise with the Lohan who played he roles of the twins.She should be able to not only to do a decent enough job with a British accent, but also be able to speak American accent.She really did well.I honestly could not tell there were not two Lohans there whenever they appeared on screen together.So credit the visual effects department for a job well done in all aspects.I doubled that it would have made the film any better.
Hallie as Annie revealed the truth.She said to her mother that I hope you are not mad because I love you so much, and I just hope that one day you could love me as me, and not as Annie.This is the voice of the child.For the child\'s view, the world is naive.But they desire love of the parents.As Hallie and Annie knew the dad would marry to Meredith, they did their best to stop.We can not blame them.It is comprehensive that they switch places.
Secondly, Careful Consideration about Divorce
However, the film is mostly comedy.In real life, it is not true.Many parents did not see the child when he lost his mother or his father.Parents can not understand the feelings of the child that other people have father or mother but he does not.
If you divorced and you have a child, do you want to hug your child, would you show the regret to him, if thinking that you are selfish, you make the child lost the love of the other part.Sometimes you may forget why you divorced.You should take into careful consideration.This is related to the child\'s growth.In the film, Nick and Elizabeth forgot it, Nick said if we\'re ever really alone maybe we could talk about what happened between us, you know it\'s all a bit hazy to me now.It ended so fast for them.They married because of impulse and they divorced because of impulse, too.And they did not cherish each other, but in the last, Nick realized that he made the mistake of not coming after Elizabeth once, Lizzie.He did not going to do that again no matter what happened.He did it and they married again.After you see the film you may change you mind.You have to carefully consider the marriage and divorce. Also, it deserves to think about what is the film reflected on.I think it was cool how they tricked me into thinking the family about how to live with your children and your wife or your husband and how to build a loving family.It also reveals a problem about how parents can end their relationship without actually taking into account the hurt they may be causing to their children.All this is very modern themes that cannot be denied and were blatantly obvious .The people not only have a succeful career but also need a happy marriage.Although I still can not understand what is share of the family to a parent, but I am a child, I know this feeling is not easy.It lets me know what is family, what is thicker than water.And I would like to treasure my family.
