综合技能课教学设计与反思

一、教学设计

课 题:牛津英语上海版,八年级上册,Unit 3 Modern machines 教学内容:More Practice 课 型:综合技能课

教学时间:40分钟

教学目标:

1.知识目标:通过有交际意义的听、说、读、写等活动,进一步巩固本单元所学的比较级内容,复习形容词比较级的形式和用法。

2.能力目标:通过拓展听力、阅读练习,指导学生运用所学的听力理解策略和阅读理解学习策略,培养听力和阅读微技能,如:听力前预测,阅读理解中的扫读等技能。

3.策略目标:通过体验、实践、讨论、合作和探究等学习方式,提高学生用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力。

4.情感目标:引导学生树立正确使用互联网的意识。

5.文化目标:引导学生了解互联网络文化。

本节与上节相关性分析:

1.学生通过整个单元的学习,对计算机等现代机器有了一定的认识,学习了形容词比较级和最高级的形式和用法,初步积累了一定的阅读和听力策略与技巧。

2.本节课以学生帮助太空外星狗CJ7解决问题贯穿全课,要求学生综合运用本单元已学的信息和自身背景图式相联系,表达自己的观点。Listening承接了本单元阅读课的话题,Reading引出本节课的拓展话题-internet 。Listening和Reading task再现和巩固了本单元语法-形容词比较级,在Pair work和Group discuion中也要求学生使用比较级进行交际。Listening和Reading task帮助学生掌握已学的听力和阅读策略。

A research team in the USA first had the idea of linking computers together in the 1960s.They wanted computers in universities, research departments and the military to communicate with each other and share information.At that time, computers were bigger than fridges.People could not move them easily.Computers were also complicated and difficult to use.

Slowly, more and more people started to link their computers together.Then businemen started to use the Internet too.Today, people all over the world are using the Internet.

There is a wide range of services on the Internet.For example, we can use it to communicate with other people.The most popular way to communicate is through electronic mail, or \"e-mail\".We can also use services such as MSN meenger or Skype.We can use these services to send instant meages to people near or far away.

The Internet allows us to use the World Wide Web (also known as WWW or the Web).The Web is many connected pages of information.We can use the Web to read news and learn about our favourite sports stars or singers.

The Internet has changed our lives.Now we can contact the whole world with the computers in our homes.

二、课后反思

本课教学过程流畅,学生兴趣浓厚,积极性高,课堂气氛活跃。较好地完成了预期的教学目标和新课程的要求,体现了新课程的理念,构建以学生为中心的课堂教学。反思这节综合技能课,笔者得出以下几点体会:

1.创设轻松愉快的环境,激发学生兴趣。

\"教人未见其趣,必不乐学。\"教师应根据英语学科的特点和学生年龄的特征,设计出灵活多样的教学手段和教学方法,创设出丰富多彩的教学情景,这些有利于引起学生的学习动机,激发他们的学习兴趣,从而调动全体学生英语学习的积极性。这样,学生就能从被动接受转化为主动参与,由\"要我学\"转变到\"我要学\"。

在进行教学设计时,笔者对教材进行了重新整合,并且适当地修改和增添部分相关内容,以适合学生生理、心理特点。考虑到初二学生思维活跃,容易接受新事物,喜欢与他人合作交流,笔者利用电影《长江七号》里面的太空狗CJ7作为贯穿全课的线索,把本课的所有任务定性为帮助CJ7学习电脑和互联网知识。例如,把课本More Practice A中的对话人物由原来的Mr.Tang与Salesman改为CJ7与Salesman,让学生在听力训练后帮助CJ7决定购买台式电脑还是手提电脑;把课本More Practice B中的无交际意义的阅读训练The History of Internet改为该文章是CJ7从BBS下载的一篇文章,要求学生阅读后帮助CJ7找出错误的句子;在最后的任务,要求学生小组讨论后介绍一个网站给CJ7,并且邀请个别学生马上在老师的电脑上打开该网页进行简单介绍。在对教材进行适当的整合和增补后,原有的机械练习都改成有交际意义的活动,大大激发了学生的学习兴趣。

此外,笔者充分利用了各种教学手段,在Warming-up利用教师本人的两张照片进行导入,既介绍了desktop和laptop两个新单词,也引出下面的话题----购买台式电脑与手提电脑的讨论,十分贴近学生的实际生活。而笔者也以满腔热情,把CJ7这个线索贯穿所有的任务中去,CJ7实物毛公仔的出现一下子就能紧紧吸引学生的眼球。在任务过渡期间,利用CJ7作为连接,创设出生动活泼的教学情景,营造轻松愉快的课堂气氛,使每一个学生都敢于和乐于实践英语。

2.自始至终坚持\"以学生为主体\"实施教学。

新课程指出教师应帮助学生发展探究知识的能力、获取信息的能力和自主学习的能力。鼓励学生通过积极尝试、自我探究、自我发现和主动实践等学习方式,发展批判性思维能力和创新精神。教师要鼓励学生学会合作,发展与人沟通的能力。教师要转变在教学中的角色,不应仅仅是知识的传授者,还应成为学生学习的促进者、指导者、组织者、帮助者、参与者和合作者。

在整个教学实施过程中,笔者创设了多种形式的交际任务,引导学生用英语发现、思考、找出解决问题的方法。例如学生互相采访班上的同学,记录互联网使用的好处和坏处,并且就此提出正确使用互联网的建议;在归纳听力技巧和阅读技巧的时候,没有让老师直接给出答案,而是要求学生以小组讨论的方式归纳并且发表自己的意见,老师只是作为引导者,引导学生做出总结;最后的一个任务为学生简介一个网页,推荐给CJ7浏览,该开放式的任务是没有固定答案的,学生发挥自己的想象力和根据爱好表达自己对使用互联网的理解,使学生的主体地位得到了充分的体现。

在评价部分,本课给了学生一个更广阔的评价空间。课堂上让学生通过填写Self aement form,评价自己本节课的表现,体现发展性评价,改变以往学习效果完全由老师评价的情况,使评价方式趋于多元化,促进学生自我反思,提高综合运用英语的能力。

3.创建尽量真实的交际环境,提供综合运用语言的机会。

语言学专家认为英语教学的实质是交际。语言知识的教学必须要与语言交际能力的培养相结合。因此,教师在课堂教学设计时,要注意设置有意义的语言情景,安排各类课堂教学活动,如pair work,group work,role play,interview等,引导学生运用所学的语言和知识进行交际。为了使英语课堂教学活动尽量体现真实的交际,教师在创设任务时要设计\"信息沟\"(information gap),使学生有交际的需要。

笔者把任务灵活地整合,把语言知识有机地穿插在任务环各个环节中,通过组织学生完成任务推进教学进程,进入下一个交际环境。例如,在学生进行interview调查互联网使用的好处和坏处的过程中,要求学生尽量使用比较级,让学生在交际过程中使用本单元所学的比较级,教师板书学生意见时,在黑板上列出、强调比较级;把课本More Practice D中的介绍使用互联网的步骤,用于实际活动中,在学生一边演示、一边回答相关问题,找出打开网页的步骤并且口头表达出来。学生必须把所学的语言知识用于真实的交际活动中,分析问题、解决问题。

4.注重点拨学生语言技能和学习策略。

依据新课程的要求,综合运用语言的能力除包括掌握语言知识外,还包括语言技能和学习策略的掌握。语言技能和学习策略的提高会作用于学生语言知识的掌握,语言技能和学习策略的掌握更是学生终身学习的基础。

在本节综合技能课上,笔者注重在Listening和Reading的任务中引导学生自我归纳听前预测的听力技巧和扫读课文的阅读技巧。由于学生经过一个单元的学习,在阅读和听力等课上已对听前预测和扫读的微技能进行了学习,笔者在任务开展前都让学生以小组为单位,讨论如何进行听前预测和扫读课文,然后让学生代表发言,总结听前预测和扫读课文的技巧。两次的小组讨论和自我归纳语言技能,进一步巩固了各语言技能的运用,也使得接下来的听、说、读、写等任务开展得更顺利。而以学生讨论后自我发现、总结的方式,也改变了综合技能课上缺少微技能点拨或者由老师\"越俎代庖\"代替学生归纳的做法。

在学生小组讨论,自我探究的过程中,又锻炼了学生的认知策略和交际策略。让学生在使用语言的真实过程中,学会通过观察、体验、探究、合作的积极主动的学习方式,达到与他人交流的目的。

5.渗透情感教育,树立正确的价值观。

新课程注重以学生为主体,要求在英语教学中关注学生的情感,重视学生的参与和内部感受。在任务型教学中,任务的设计应符合学生的年龄特点和发展需要,让学生有话可说。而最后,教师应使学生养成和谐与健康向上的品格,有分析、解决问题的能力,树立正确的价值观和人生观。因此,英语课应把语言习得与情感教育结合在一起,实行全人教育。

在本课设计中,笔者大胆地加插了本课的线索--太空狗CJ7,针对初二学生好奇心强和乐于参加小组活动的特点,对教材进行了改编、删减和增补。所有任务都围绕着帮助CJ7解决问题而展开(例如帮忙对比挑选台式电脑和手提电脑,介绍一个有益的网站等),培养学生乐于助人的精神。而Interview的内容为Advantages and disadvantages about Internet和给出合理使用互联网的建议。该任务让学生通过思考与交流,明白如何合理地使用Internet,对学生的实际生活具有较大的指导作用。最后让学生根据讨论所得到的建议,介绍一个网址给CJ7,培养起正确使用互联网的态度,树立正确的价值观。 6.不足之处及改进措施。

第一,笔者在授课时,引入部分所用时间有点长。在介绍两张照片和重点的新单词后,介绍CJ7的背景也花了一定时间。今后,笔者将继续努力,简化教学语言,使之更适合不同层次的学生。

第二,布置任务时使用的指令用语仍需提高。例如,在介绍Interview的任务时,使用了较复杂的指令用语让学生访问不同学生,并且记下互联网的两个优点和两个缺点。个别学生并未明白任务的具体要求,记下了许多优点和缺点。因此,指令用语必须更简练,笔者将多看书,多听课,尤其老教师的课,从中提取经验。

第三,在布置要求较高的任务时,必须给出一个榜样。例如,要求学生在Interview的过程中尽量使用所学过的比较级,但没有给出一个例子,导致有学生没有完全理解任务的要求,并没有使用比较级进行讨论。笔者在今后的教学实践中将不断改进,利用多种方式作为例子,引出任务,使学生完全投入其中。
