招募志愿者(Volunteers Needed)—范文一：
A voluntary activity in the summer vacation will be organized by the University Students Union.The Student Union will open free English claes for the youngsters in S.O.S Children’s Village.The claes will last for a week.
Currently, we will recruit 5 volunteers to work as English teachers.The volunteers are requested to speak fluent English.Those with English teaching experience are preferable.Besides the English skills, we expect the volunteers to be patient, open-minded with a loving heart.The Children’s Village will provide the volunteers with three meals a day and transportation from and to the university during the cla days.
Those who are interested in taking part in the activity, please send your resume to the email addre studentunion@bju.edu before June 30th.The office of the Student Union will contact the chosen candidates for an interview before July 10th.
Spring Festival Gala on CCTV
Nowadays the Chinese Lunar New Year poses a national iue concerning the neceity of holding the CCTV Spring Festival Gala every year.Its rooted status is being challenged by a growing number of people, especially by young generations.
Some people deem that the Spring Festival Gala has been held in China for over two decades, which seems to have been an indispensable part during the traditional New Year’s Eve for a great number of people, who appear to be used to enjoying the sights and sounds of the brilliant feast, while gathering with their beloved family.
However, an increasing number of people have voiced different opinions towards it, as more diverse life styles emerged nowadays.Some people to go to a fancy restaurant to enjoy a gourmet meal; some intend to go on a vacation to an incredibly exotic destination for a novel and thorough relaxation; others may have more even post-modern notions, like going bunging, hiking or cycling for entirely new different experiences, forgetting all about the Spring Festival.
To me, I am supportive of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala program.It may not remain a must for all people, but it indeed can bring a strong sense of festivity and serve us as an alternative among the variety of holiday activities.
Besides, with such a gathering, family members will have a perfect opportunity to enjoy more fun and happine, for nowadays most people are so engaged in their daily busine that they can rarely find time to stay with their family, which, if not properly adjusted, might add further to the worsening situation of the values of Chinese families.
