New Policy for New Era With economy developing at a flying speed, China has entered a new era.We have the fastest growing GDP, and we own the largest population. As the two factors are inseparable, new economy era definitely needs new population policy.Talking about the full liberalization of two-child policy, I support it for the following reasons. It’s an efficient way to balance the gender ratio.Under the influence of tradition, the number of male is much more than female. That brings problems in marriage and social security.Having more kids means more girls are born, which is a good method of reaching a proper point. It’ll also help in keeping a well-organized social work distribution.Another reason is that the policy can bring better economy development. In 2015, number of labor aged from 15 to 59 decreased for the first time in 70 years, meaning we are losing our demographic dividend. The policy will show its efficiency 15 years later. The ratio of labor will rise up again and the cost of bringing up babies will go down.By that way, more resource will flow to economy development, helping us get over the situation of “getting old before getting rich”.Even now, millions of newborns are already creating huge profits in the infant markets. It must be emphasized that the new policy will not damage the structure of population. Not only because people’s thoughts of breeding are changing, but also because the cost of bringing up a child is becoming higher and higher.Young couple may not want to have kids or only have one kid.
In conclusion, we should adapt to and support the new policy. If there is no change, there won’t be any progre. If we are hampered by our own tradition, our society will be lifelene. As a new era is on the corner, I believe new policy should come as well.
