听说课

一、概述

听说课是英语学科的课型之一,也是常考课型。本课型重在培养学生听和说的技能,因此面试时抽到这一课型的学员应合理设计教学活动,确保学生能够积极参与,鼓励学生大胆用英语表达自己的看法。同时设计读和写的教学活动,使学生在听说读写的活动中完成新知识的吸收,消化以及巩固。

二、教材分析

学员可根据抽到的试题内容分析,从听说课,阅读课(小学为读写课),语法课,写作课和词汇课(只有高中学段有词汇课型)中利用排除法做出判断。针对可设计成听说课型的内容,教材中会有明显的标志,如耳机或磁带。以人民教育出版社教材为例,一般而言,以下部分可设计成听说课:

小学:每单元分为Section A,B,C 三部分,每部分中let’s talk 和let’s learn 都可设计成听说课。其中let’s talk以教授语法为主,let’s learn以教授单词为主。

初中:每单元分为Section A,B两部分。Section A部分的1(a,b,c,d..)和2(a,b,c,d..)可设计成听说课;Section B 部分的1(a,b,c,d..)可设计成听说课。 高中:Using Language 部分可设计成听说课。

三、教学目标分析 英语是一门语言,语言交际分为口头语言和书面语言,通过听说读写四种形式将语音、词汇、语法、功能和语篇表达出来。 根据新课标规定,教学目标为三维目标,分别是知识目标,技能目标和情感态度价值观目标。 知识目标:语音、词汇、语法、功能和语篇 技能目标:听说读写

情感态度价值观目标:提高兴趣,培养合作意识,了解国外文化与风俗,开阔眼界,培养国际视野,更好理解并热爱中国文化等。

目标书写原则:1.遵循ABCD模式,即对象(audience)、行为(behavior)、条件(condition)和标准(degree)。

2.学生为行为动词的主体而不是主语,原因是英语中被动语态。例如:Students’ listening skill can be improved.

四、教学重难点分析

重点:教材中最基本最重要的知识和技能,是教学活动围绕教学重点展开。相对稳定,不同的教师讲授同一个内容,教学重点应该是相同的。

教学难点:学生不易理解的知识,不易掌握的技能技巧。暂时性,相对性,教师不同,学生不同,时期不同,难点都可能不同。

小学建议使用四部曲:warming up, presentation, consolidation , summery and homework.初高中:采用pwp 模式,即将presentation 分为pre-listening 和while-listening, 将consolidation 变为post-listening.教学活动可以按教材中的题目设计。

1.热身和导入(Warming up and lead in):移情,起兴,入题。 常用方法:温故知新法:课程复习法、作业复习法

情景设置法:教师语言、多媒体播放视频,图片音乐等、现场模拟法。

教师语言示例:Good morning, I will introduce a man to you, listen to me carefully and gue who he is.He is a great man and enjoys a high popularity in the world.Can you gue who he is ? You know him.Today we are going to learn „.2.pre-listening:新课讲授的开始,进行新课内容的呈现。

方法:通过问答,小组讨论,预测或者头脑风暴等形式完成对要听的材料进行话题或者语言点的扫盲工作,为学生扫除障碍。

3.while-listening: 对听力材料的初摄入。可分为 extensive listening 和intensive listening .extensive listening 部分:听前布置任务,让学生明白要听什么,比如听力材料的大意,主题,标题,其中一个或者两个信息的提取等。

intensive listening 部分:通过正误判断,填空,回答问题,连线,填表格等出题形式,引导学生完成对听力材料的细化,加深对材料的理解。

4.post-listening:对所听材料话题或者语言点的提升。可以根据材料话题引导口头问答,复述或转述所听内容,模拟情景,小组讨论或者辩论,表达个人感受;也可以利用材料中的语言点如过去式进行练习,让学生造句,对话,写经历观点等强化巩固语言点的运用。

5.summary and homework: 对本节课话题抑或语言点的小结并留作业继续加深巩固或者为下节课做铺垫。

Summary:可以通过排序法,框架法,激情结课法,悬念法,延伸法等总结本材料的话题;也可以通过比较法,朗读法等对所学语言点进行总结。

homework: 作业布置要具有可测性,有目的性,可操作性。1.常规性作业:做课后习题,抄句子短语,背词组等。2.实践性作业:根据本节课话题或者所学语言点布置表演,搜集材料,调查,讨论等。如初中英语有一节课是关于天气的,作业布置就可以是:After cla, you need to make a survey about the weather in the past week, and next cla I will ask some of you to give presentation in this way: A:How was the weather on __? B: It was __.

Step 1 Lead-in.

I think the most useful method to lead the students to learn is interest stimulating and discuion by themselves.1.At beginning I will let Ss to discu: after a glance of the title and the pictures of this paage , what do you think the paage is about? (2.At beginning I will ask Ss which place they like most and what is it famous for.Then we will do the listening part to get some information and then do the following exercise)

Step 4 Post-reading Practice

I say to learn is to use.After the reading, students will have some practices.It will be the most interesting part to students .why? Because I will leave students time to talk together.

Most students can take their parts in this activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English,.In the group activities, they can speak a little English.Without doubt, this will encourage them to speak English.In fact,it is a kind of demand of human being.A famous educator says:‖ In one’s mind ,there is always a kind of deeply rooted demand, this is the hope to feel oneself a finder and explorer.In student’ s spirits, such demand is specially strong.‖ So I will give every student a chance to spesk English in our claroom.This part also leads to the emotion objective of this leon ,that is to have moral education in this step.

You can see that the way I teach reading is to follow the bottom up teaching method.I will introduce the vocabulary first and then sentences, structures and last the language focus.

Step 6 Homework

Then Ss will Summarize the whole leon, and arrange the homework.

Purpose of my design: I think homework is so important that the students should use English as much as they can in cla and after cla.It is neceary for the students to master the knowledge they learned.This contents is an extension of the previous leon, to meet the need of increing communicating and writing demands of some students and bring their personality into play .

Part 5 blackboard Design

Blackboard design should be think for a thing that attract the student’ s attention and let them to write down the important teaching points.I will divide the blackboard into two parts .The left part will be used to write the important vocabulary and grammar and their usage.It will be reserved for the whole cla.The right part will be precious explanation, I will write some sentence of the words ,phrases and structures to explan their meaning . No matter which steps is taken ,the purpose is to provide teacher and studends with information and internal demand to improve teaching skill and learning quality.strategy and approach will help students become more independent and the succeful learner.

On studying the teaching material and analyzing there gulation of children’s growing of mind, I put forward three kinds of teaching objectives according to English syllabus and new leon standard.

一、听

(一)形成对英语听能力要求的正确认识

新课标逐年加大听力部分的分值。目前,英语口试还不作一般考试的要求,所以,学生不会创造氛围去说英语。基于这种情况,我们应努力让学生了解,好的听力不仅对笔试有帮助,它更是一种能力的体现,因为我们学英语的目的不是为了考试,考试是作为一种督促的手段,我们的目的是用英语来进行交际。口头交流是最简单最普遍的交际方式。而只有我们在听得懂别人说的话和说得出自己的观点时,我们才有交流。所以说,听懂说好英语既是我们学习的目的,也是学习英语的基本要求。

(二)听前准备

听前的准备工作是非常重要的,一般情况下老师只是留几分钟时间让学生自己看要回答的问题,或在多媒体课件上列出一些听力内容中的生词、词组后就让学生听了。听完后直接对答案。但对于那些内容较难的听力材料,我们除了做以上工作外还应该给学生讲解一些关于听力材料的背景知识,把它当作听前的热身。可以先让学生们看问题和与它相对应的选项,在他们看完以后,我让他们猜测听力材料的大致内容。多数同学猜不出来,少数能猜出来的同学也不敢回答。这时可以在黑板上列出了以下一些关键词。鼓励学生们猜测听力内容的大概意思的时候,很多同学能够积极主动回答,并能把它的大致意思说出来。这样学生在听的时候就容易多了,也有助于培养学生们的自信心和逻辑推理能力。同时也真正做到了以学生为主体的探究型学习。

(三)听中停顿

在做听力练习的时候适时停顿是非常必要的,它在向学生暗示:停顿处是文章的重要之处,也是回答问题的关键之处。这样可以集中学生的注意力。在适时停顿的时候,顺便让学生重复刚刚听过的单词或句子效果会更好一些。通过这样做不仅提高了学生们在听力时把握关键词的能力,而且有助于学生口语表达能力的提高。同时也加强了师生之间的互动。

(四)听后总结

听后活动是听力教学的有效延伸。通常情况下,我们上听力课的时候,听完内容,做完课后练习就没事了。但如果在听完材料后,教师让学生对听力内容作一个简短的复述或讨论,教师对他的回答做出总结并给予积极中肯的评价。另外,在听后的开放式讨论中,学生可以根据所听内容进行笔头或口头转述,使听、说、读、写四项基本技能互相渗透、互相促进。那么,这样的活动不仅会激发学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和勇气,而且也实现了民主、宽松、和谐的教学氛围。

(一)寻找学生开口的切点。

新教材每个单元均以一个特定的话题为中心展开,题材新颖,时代感强,“听”、“说”模块实用,适宜采用交际法教学或“融入式”的教学模式。但如果教师讨论的切入点选择不对,大多数学生感到无从开口,就会形成曲高和寡的冷场局面,使讨论不能继续下去。所以,教师应该根据学生的实际英语水平,敏锐地捕捉讨论的切入口,适时地寻找学生开口的突破点,要做到人人能说,个个会讲。通过讨论,学生觉得原来英语并不像他们想象得那么困难,如:在教Unit 1 Friendship时,让学生联系课文,通过自己亲身体会和理解,讨论以下问题:

Do you have any friends? Are you good to your friends? Do you know why people make friends with one another?

这样一些平时不爱开口的学生,对于这样的问题也非常感兴趣,都能说出些东西来。比如:

S1: Yes, of course.We all have a lot of friends. S2: We are good to our friends. S3:One cannot live alone in the world .To make our work smooth,We need to cooperate with others .To make our life happy, we need to help each other. 每个学生都能发表自己的看法,因为他们有话可说。尽管会出现一些语法或逻辑上的错误,但教师对此不必多虑,应该认识到这是语言学习过程中的自然现象。只要学生长期进行这样的语言实践,英语运用能力就会随之提高,表达中的语言错误也会随之减少。在讨论过程中,学生只要能有条理地描述个人体验和表达个人见解就行了。最重要的是他们人人能共享讨论的收获和感受成功的喜悦。

(二)激活思维。

我们知道,“讨论”的前提是学生要有话可说,有感而发。如何使学生的思想一触即发,这就需要教师讲究技巧。教师要合理处理新教材设计的讨论题,根据学生身心发展过程中的不同阶段,通过创设和营造真实而有意义的英语文化环境,鼓励学生突破常规,善于质疑,大胆想象,勇于创新,敢于求异。设计的问题要巧妙,创意新颖。通过这些问题和创意力图激活学生的思维,开启他们想象的闸门,点燃学生的思想火花,从而为讨论的顺利进行创造有利条件。如:在教Unit 4 Earthquakes 时,我提出了这样的问题让学生讨论回答:

Did you once hear the sound that the heaven falls and the earth cracks?

If there is a sound like this, what is it? How terrible is it?

Imagine your home begins to shake and you must leave it right away .You have time to take only one thing.What will you take? And why?

问题一提出,课堂气氛马上活跃起来了。学生的思维处于高度的“活化”状态,大家积极思考、主动探讨、各抒己见。因为这样的问题讨论有效地激活了学生的思维,提高了学生的兴趣,无形中开拓了学生的创造性思维能力。

(三)说写结合,提高学生表达的质量。学生对于难以把握的话题通过口头讨论,集思广益,相互启发,相互补充,问题会看得越来越清楚,主题越来越明确,要点也会越全面。但口头表达存在许多局限。如果把课堂口头讨论的情况用文字表达出来,讨论环节就上了一个新的档次。因为在写作前问题经过了讨论,所表达的要点也已经归纳出来,这样学生在动笔时就觉得容易多了。书面表达也使口头表达中难以察觉的语言错误充分暴露出来,从而提高了语言表达的准确性。

当然,讨论还可以超越课本的限制,延伸到课外。可以要求学生就他们感兴趣的或大家关注的热门话题展开讨论。这样的讨论可以不受时间和空间的限制,学生可以自由地发表自己的真实看法。

总之,“Speaking”是一堂好课的重要环节,是学生自主探究、开发潜能的重要过程。它为学生提供了一个进行积极创新思维的广阔平台。

教师可以根据学生水平,发展层次,提出不同的目标要求,不同的学生可以布置不同的任务,让所有学生经过努力都能完成任务。教学目标设计要准确,细致,(如:本节课学习magic,trick等词汇。there be 句型 等。)切记空泛。(如:通过本节课提高学生的听,说能力。)

2.study new language:教学1a,通过图片谈论导入新语言知识的学习,学习完成任务所需要的目标词汇、句式等,再在1a图片所提供的情景或者创设新的语境来进行交际练习,体会、使用语言。 step 2 听力训练

1.pre-listening 听前活动

在eec 教材中,听力的体一部分通常是选出与所听内容相符的图片。因此,在听前talk about the pictures 进行图画描述是很好的选择。

在eec教材中,listening中的对话比较长,难度较大。speaking 中的对话比较短,内容也较简单。所以建议授课教师可以先讲speaking 部分,在此基础上,把listening部分的对话作为拓展部分来处理。因此,在设计教学活动的时候,要为学生搭建一个可供向上攀登的阶梯——通过图片介绍、听力话题预热等方式降低难度。

在进行听力练习前,教师可以引导学生就图画进行自由表述,可以提出具体的问题启发学生思考,带领学生预测将要听到的内容,调动学生积极参与活动。 2.while-listening 听中活动

(1) 听录音,完成练习,经过图片表述以后,学生对听力的内容有所预知,有所了解,降低了听力的难度。学生在听第一遍的同时,一般能顺利地完成parta的第一部分的内容, 并且为part a的第二部分的听力打下了坚实的基础。在听录音前,教师要注意引导学生抓关键信息。

(2) 听录音,完成part a的第二部分练习,再听录音,引导学生对所获信息进行有效筛选和处理。为了方便有效的指导学生筛选和处理信息,在此环节,我们可以让学生在听到含有重要信息的句子时拍手一次或轻击桌面一次。这样既有利于教师及时检测学生是否听到相关的含有信息的重点句子,又可以对溜号或是没有听到相关句子的学生起到提醒的作用。

(3)listen and answer听录音,回答问题(灵活处理的环节)完成part a 和 part b后,教师可以根据听力内容再设计1-2个较概括性的问题,进行判断或选择,训练学生辨别信息真伪的能力。(此步骤教师应灵活运用,根据教学内容设定,对于较难的听力材料可以这样处理,容易的材料可有可无) 3.post-listening 听后活动,

(1)补全对话和对话排序是听后较常见的练习方式。设置补全对话填空时要考虑到本课的重点, 把本课的基本句式和重点词汇等作为填空的内容,并且遵循有多到少,由易到难的原则,让学生在训练听的同时不知不觉中强化识记了单元话题的有关词汇和句式。

(2)跟读或朗读(必需的环节)此时学生已经熟悉了听力材料,再放一遍录音,让学生跟读。这样,既可以使有限的听力材料得到反复听、反复用,在听和读的过程中培养学生听、说的技能,也是帮助学生熟悉背诵语言材料的有效手段。同时,又为pair work打下了基础。 step 3巩固拓展

目前,在我国许多地方,在应试教育的影响下,不少学生都是“高分低能”,学了一口“哑巴英语”。在实际生活中,学生听不懂,说不出。针对这种现状,我国的英语教学正在进行大刀阔斧的改革。下面结合教学实践,谈谈我的听说教学三部曲:即听前、听中和听后。

一、pre-listening(听前):感悟导入

听前活动要有针对性、趣味性,要能很好地导入听力主题。在听听力材料之前,应该激活文化背景知识,减少学生的听力理解障碍。教师可以选择一些与听力话题相关的材料或参照课本中的插图,或利用多媒体等,开展富有创意的听前活动。来激活学生的思维,使他们产生听的愿望。

二、while-listening(听中):听力练习

听中活动是听说课的核心部分,教师所设计的活动应该以训练学生的听力技能为目标,视教材为渠道,检测学生对语篇承载的信息的理解能力,培养学生搜集和处理信息的能力,及其用所听信息解决实际问题的能力。听中又分为三步进行:

第一步:泛听

老师提出与文章相关的几个问题,让学生听材料并找出答案。问题不能太难,确保学生能通过盲听直接找到答案,使学生马上感到听有所获,增强学生的自信心。

第二步:精听

精听是用于训练学生抓住材料中某些细节意思,以及未直接说出的言外之意的能力。其目的是对听力材料作深入、透彻的了解,包括细节内容,从而对文中的内容作出合乎逻辑的推理判断。精听时若遇到生词,要根据上下文的意思、背景知识以及利用构词规则来进行猜测。精听训练中,应当注意的是,要指导学生运用适当的听力技巧搜索、确定信息,找出答案,解决问题。

新目标英语中的听力训练形式多样,如:听力填表、人名或图片与活动相匹配、听力排序等等。在日常的听力教学中,我们应做到以下几点:

1.在学生听听力之前应提出明确的要求,让学生有目的的去听。只有这样,才能积极主动地去捕捉信息,提高理解的效率。

2.教师对学生听力的训练要有层次,根据学生对听力材料的理解情况,由易到难,分别提出不同的要求,让学生再去听。

3.在听前和听胡同时,避免让学生看听力文稿。

与此同时,教师还应注意自身素质的提高,平时应注重用流利的英语组织教学,创造一

个全英语教学情境。教师流利的口语就是最好的英语教材,还会有利于学生听力、口语及写作水平提高。

第三步:跟读

听力练习后,学生理解了听力材料的内容,在此基础上让学生听音跟读,注意模仿语音、语调,对于不准确的发音要给予纠正。这样进一步巩固了本课的目标语言,为后面要完成的口语任务打好基础。

三、post-listening(听后):学以致用

说的前提之一是听。说的能力在很大程度上有赖于对听的理解能力。听与说是不可分割的整体,只有听懂了,才能接着说。听后,其实就是一个知识输出的过程,教师可以设计一些交际性的活动。这样既能巩固本节课所学知识,又有利于学生创新精神和实践能力的培养,有利于学生交际能力的形成。

总之,学生听说能力的培养是一个日积月累的训练过程,决不是一节课,一个学期就能完成的。我们必须以新课改理念为指导,坚持使用英语教学,多给学生创设一定的练习情境,让学生快乐地学习,从而真正地提高听说水平,提高英语综合能力,推动整个教学改革不断地向前发展。

一、导言

初中英语听说课教学策略

适用于每单元的Leon 1 Listening and Speaking。Section A Listening是语言的基本内容,是语言的输入阶段。Section B Speaking是综合的语言运用和知识的扩展部分。

一、教学目标(Teaching aims):

教师可以根据学生水平,发展层次,提出不同的目标要求,不同的学生可以布置不同的任务,让所有学生经过努力都能完成任务。教学目标设计要准确,细致,(如:本节课学习magic,trick等词汇。There be 句型 等。)切记空泛。(如:通过本节课提高学生的听,说能力。)

例如:What can you see in the picture? How many people are there in the picture? What are they doing?„ 引导学生观察图画,进行口语表述。

2.Study new language:教学1a,通过图片谈论导入新语言知识的学习,学习完成任务所需要的目标词汇、句式等,再在1a图片所提供的情景或者创设新的语境来进行交际练习,体会、使用语言。

Step 2 听力训练

1.pre-listening 听前活动

在EEC 教材中,听力的体一部分通常是选出与所听内容相符的图片。因此,在听前Talk about the pictures 进行图画描述是很好的选择。

在EEC教材中,Listening中的对话比较长,难度较大。Speaking 中的对话比较短,内容也较简单。所以建议授课教师可以先讲speaking 部分,在此基础上,把listening部分的对话作为拓展部分来处理。因此,在设计教学活动的时候,要为学生搭建一个可供向上攀登的阶梯——通过图片介绍、听力话题预热等方式降低难度。

在进行听力练习前,教师可以引导学生就图画进行自由表述,可以提出具体的问题启发学生思考,带领学生预测将要听到的内容,调动学生积极参与活动。

2.While-listening 听中活动

(1) 听录音,完成练习,经过图片表述以后,学生对听力的内容有所预知,有所了解,降低了听力的难度。学生在听第一遍的同时,一般能顺利地完成PartA的第一部分的内容, 并且为Part A的第二部分的听力打下了坚实的基础。在听录音前,教师要注意引导学生抓关键信息。 (2) 听录音,完成Part A的第二部分练习,再听录音,引导学生对所获信息进行有效筛选和处理。为了方便有效的指导学生筛选和处理信息,在此环节,我们可以让学生在听到含有重要信息的句子时拍手一次或轻击桌面一次。这样既有利于教师及时检测学生是否听到相关的含有信息的重点句子,又可以对溜号或是没有听到相关句子的学生起到提醒的作用。

(3)listen and answer听录音,回答问题(灵活处理的环节)完成Part A 和 Part B后,教师可以根据听力内容再设计1-2个较概括性的问题,进行判断或选择,训练学生辨别信息真伪的能力。(此步骤教师应灵活运用,根据教学内容设定,对于较难的听力材料可以这样处理,容易的材料可有可无)

3.Post-listening 听后活动,

(1)补全对话和对话排序是听后较常见的练习方式。设置补全对话填空时要考虑到本课的重点, 把本课的基本句式和重点词汇等作为填空的内容,并且遵循有多到少,由易到难的原则,让学生在训练听的同时不知不觉中强化识记了单元话题的有关词汇和句式。

(2)跟读或朗读(必需的环节)此时学生已经熟悉了听力材料,再放一遍录音,让学生跟读。这样,既可以使有限的听力材料得到反复听、反复用,在听和读的过程中培养学生听、说的技能,也是帮助学生熟悉背诵语言材料的有效手段。同时,又为Pair work打下了基础。

Step 3巩固拓展

1. 根据对话内容,进行模仿练习。

2.Activities活动设置: make new conversations教师根据话题提出任务,借助于图片与相关的Key words的提示,让学生运用所学目标语言完成任务。教师设计的任务应尽量贴近学生生活,生活就是知识,生活化的角色更易于调动学生参与的积极性,要使用有限的课程资源,尽可能多地为学生提供“开口说英语”的机会。

3.Summary小结

Grammar Focus进行语法归纳,掌握目标语言的语言结构。在这个环节中,要重视时态、语态和语言结构在实际生活中的作用,通过训练和小结让学生明白所学习的语言结构在什么语境情况下使用,具体的、不同的语言环境应使用具体的、不同的时态和语态,怎样用,让学生感悟、进行实践。

而我们当下提出的素质教育也是一种教育体系。它必须体现在一个具体的教育科学的步骤和措施上,新的英语教学大纲体现了素质教育的教育体系。英语教学的指导性原则是培养学生听、说、读、写的能力,提高使用语言的技能,达到运用语言进行交际的目的。现在我们以人民教育出版社出版新目标Go For It为教材。在使用新目标的教材过程中,我们也感受到教材符合新课标的各项指标,达到了初中生英语学习的综合要求。特别是初中英语教学中出现了以听说为主的听说课,这就给了我们老师更多自由发挥的空间,可以根据学生特点更加自主地组织课堂教学。同时,《英语课程标准》(2001)明确指出:“基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。综合语言运用能力的形成建立在学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整体发展的基础上。语言知识和语言技能是综合语言运用能力的基础,文化意识是得体运用语言的保证。情感态度是影响学生学习和发展的重要因素,学习策略是提高学习效率、发展自主学习能力的保证。这五个方面共同促进综合语言运用能力的形成。”

1 能力谈谈自己的一些教学心得体会。 1.什么是听说课及目标

在新目标Go For It教材中,从七年级开始到八年级上册教材主要由Section A和Section B以及Self-Check三部分构成,通常为四或五个课时。而八年级下册和九年级全册则增加了Reading.而听说课主要集中在Section A和Section B的1a—2c这一部分是单元的基本重点,有重要的单词,短语句型等。这些知识点主要以听力、对话、以及小短文的形式体现。为此上这类课,我们是以让学生听和说为主,而这类课堂就是我们所说的听说课。

上听说课,我们要做到的是让学生通过听说对话等操练达到既能够掌握知识,也能够将语言表达出来这一目标。让学生通过观察自己总结知识,通过运用掌握知识。为此我们要充分地组织好课堂。 2.如何组织听说课堂

2.1巧妙设计热身,激发学生兴趣。

一个良好的课堂热身能激起学生的对学习的渴望。例如在上七年级Unit12What’s your favorite subject?我结合所学各类科目的不同特点以及他们的喜好,设计了丰富的任务让学生最大程度的参与课堂,激发他们学习的热情和了解学习的重要性。再如上Unit9 When was he born?我给学生展示一张姚明的海报,由谈论姚明开始了很快自然地引出单元重点出生日期以及成就的讨论。热身的方式常用的形式有:播放歌曲,视频,展示图片,问答,讨论他们关心的话题,做游戏,做活动等等。

2 2.2落实听力训练环节

在听力环节上,我力争不走过场,注重学生的听力练习的质与量。一般我的听力步骤分为:

2.2.1听一遍完成课本的的任务,核对答案,再听一遍。如果难度大,则先听2遍,核对答案后,再听一遍。 2.2.2再将听力文本诵读一遍。

2.2.3将听力中的重点知识板书到黑板上,为之后的口语操练做准备。

另外,对于听力材料中的生词处理,一般我不在听力活动前挑出来进行认知,而是对生词进行分析,分层次处理。学生可以通过上、下文猜出来的词,听前就不要处理这个生词,作为训练学生猜词能力的练习材料,同时使听力材料增加了一定的难度。这样使学生在听力活动中精神更集中。重点生词的操练和运用放在听力活动之后进行。 2.3加强对话操练,提高说的能力

以听力结束了语言知识输入后,便转入了让学生口头对话操练环节。这一部分可以根据实际情况设计一些活动,但原则一定是由易到难,由简单到复杂。

通常我是让学生先熟练对话中的单词,短语,然后再连成句子,反复强化,再到多个句子。只有这样,学生才能从一句话扩张到两句,三句直至对话。而对话一般分为三个环节。

第一环节为模式部分,通常我以师生对话的方式,展示给学生们看,当然有时也可以以生生对话的方式;第二环节为自由操练部分,将学

3 生以小对,小组形式进行对话操练,老师到小组中去指导;第三环节为检验部分,让学生以对话的形式展示自己的所掌握的情况,同时给予一定的指导。在三个环节之后,有时根据实际情况可以将对话的内容在进行一定的提高和丰富。

为了上好一堂听说课,我们广大教师还应该注意和实际的教学时间相结合,准确定位课堂的主题内容,教学重点和难点。另外,教学目标设计要合理。听说课的教学目标一定要有听力理解技能提高目标、知识感知、学习、运用目标、主题口语能力提高目标。同时要兼顾情感态度、学习策略、文化意识的渗透。在时间分配设计方面:老师对各个环节时间的设计和把握是教学技能的一个方面。为提高时间的把握能力,课前周密的思考、严密、合理的对各个环节所需时间做出设计。

根据每单元不同的话题,我们可以设计丰富多彩的热身活动。热身活动的目的是引导学生进入主题,为学习新的知识做各方面的准备。.热身活动设计不应包括词汇扩展,内容设计要融入对新语言知识的感知。所占时间不宜过长。对于听中活动设计,听中活动的目的是理解语篇承载的信息和感知语言结构在实际情景中的运用。那么在听中可采取的教学方法:1)泛听、精听相结合;2)引导学生重视面对面谈话中听的活动。但就我们平时的课堂教学中,听中活动设计需要注意的问题:1)听力理解活动要充分。2)避免先看录音原文,再听录音。3)不要一边听一边看听力原文。4)要充分发挥多种媒体功能。

在通过大量的输入训练之后,我们会引导学生进行大量的输出训

4 练,那在口语操练时,应该注意几个问题: 1.语言结构操练应尽量做到全员参与。 2.语言知识训练形式要重语言交际。

3.语言交际活动设计符合真实交际任务的需要。4.对学生给予及时的评价。

语言技能的提高首先需要大量的语言锻炼。观察汉语的四项技能,不难看出,国人听和读的能力一般比说和写的能力要强,原因很简单:在日常的汉语使用中,听和读的量比说和写的量多。而一些教师进行英语教学的时候,却往往忽略了这样一个简单的道理,没有给学生提供听的机会,却在抱怨学生的听力差;课内课外没有让学生开口说英语,却抱怨学生的口语能力没有提高。如果从练习的机会多少来看,我国如今的英语教学在很大程度上依然是以阅读为主的教学,学生接触英语的机会绝大多数都局限于阅读方面,因而造成了语言技能发展的不平衡,这很不利于语言能力的综合发展。想要加强学生某个方面的语言技能,首要也是必备的条件就是增加该技能锻炼的机会。听、说、读、写四项要想同步发展,它们的实践机会在量上就必须是一样的。在我国,尤其要加强听、说、写的训练量。另外,除了给学生提供大量的培训单项技能的机会以外,更重要的是让学生进行综合语言实践活动,最终形成综合语言运用能力。

首先要处理好听、说、读、写之间的关系

对于英语四项技能的关系,可以从三个方面去认识。首先是普遍意义上的认识。在语言学习方面,听、说、读、写四项技能是一种相

5 辅相成、互相促进的关系。听说是输入,读写是输出。输入时输出的基础,因为没有一定语言材料和语言形式的输入,就不可能取得语言的输出;而读写又会反过来促进听说的提高。在语言实际运用方面,听、说、读、写四项技能相互交融,无法分开。从某种方面来说,说和写的能力水平也代表了听和读的能力水平,因为能说必定能听,能写必定能读。

其次是口头和笔头的关系。在近十多年的英语九年制义务教育教材的教学中,人们普遍遵循“听说领先,读写跟上”的原则,其目的之一就是强调听说的重要性。但是,强调听、说的重要性并不意味着对读写的忽略。在加强听、说的训练力度的同时,也要关注读写能力的培养。作为语言交际两大方式之一,读写能力,即书面语的交际能力理应当受到重视,这不仅因为现代社会生活对书面语交际能力有着更为迫切和现实的需要,还因为书面语交际在本质和方式上和口头交际有着重要的差异,它应该成为交际能力的重要部分。

以上这些因素处于不同层次,互相作用,互相制约,形成一种非常复杂的知识和技能体系。其次,语言学习是一个漫长的过程。在这个过程中,语言能力得以提高,同时其他能力和素质也逐步形成,如思想素质、文化素质、思维能力、研究能力、自主学习能力、对社会的适应能力等。这些素质和能力将影响着学习者终生的发展。因此,培养学生综合语言运用能力应该包括两个目标:一是培养学生的交际能力,帮助他们在今后的学习和工作中有效地利用语言进行交际;要让学生的跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力得到真正的培养,就要让学生

6 在活动中反复体验。二是,提高学生的综合素质,为他们的终生发展打下良好的基础。

总之,当今素质教育改革的风向标告诉我们应结合新课标,结合教材将英语的听说融合到学生的学习过程中,让学生参与到发现知识的过程中来,而听说课是语言综合学习的一个良好的模式。组织好每堂听说课,让我们的课堂充满着快乐,让学生体会到英语作为一门语言的魅力而不再只是试卷上的ABCD。

我比较幸运的听了一天全焦作市挑选出来的优秀教师说课比赛,真是受益匪浅。“说课”活动所产生的教学效果颇佳。它大大地提高了教师的教学能力、教研能力,全面地提高了教师的素质,为推进素质教育提供了保证。

在活动中有部分教师将“说课”等同于“备课”或“上课”。“说课”不仅要说所教内容,更重要的是要说出怎样教和教法的理论依据。这一教学研究方式是以教育科学理论和教材为依据,针对每单元或每单元的具体特点,由说课教师向其他教学人员口头表达该课的具体教学设想和其理论依据。“说课”可以是一种以教师为对象,在备课和上课之间进行的教学研究活动,或是一种对其进行教学培训的方式。说课活动对教者提出了更高的要求。

“说课”不是教学内容的简单陈述。它包括四个方面的内容:一是说教材,说出本课或本单元的教学目标、重点、难点及英汉两种语言的差异;二是说教法,根据教学内容和学生的实际,说出适用于本课或本单元的教学方法;三是说学法,说出在本课或本单元中要教给学生哪些学习方法,培养学生哪些能力,如何调动学生的积极性和激发学习兴趣等;四是说程序,说出自己的教学思路及理论依据,课堂结构板书等。

教学方法具有多样性、灵活性、发展性和补偿性。因此,在进行具体教学时,教学方法不是固定不变的。

“说课”这一教学研究的新形式将教师对教材、教法和学法的理解活动由个体转化为群体,通过集体的研究和理解,又提高了个体在教学中的科学选择能力,从而使教师个体和群体的教学理论水平都能迅速地得以提高。“说课”后一般要进行评价,参与评价的都是有教学经验的教师,这更有利于教师对教学过程的反思和调整。可以肯定,在英语教学研究中推广“说课”活动,必将使教师的英语教学水平和教研水平上升到一个新的高度。

“英语听说课”教学方法交流探讨

现行外研版英语课本的每一单元的第一课安排的都是“听说课”。那么应该怎样上好一节英语听说课呢?首先教学目的要明确,教学目标要具体,突出课型。既是“听说课”,就应该体现听、说两个重要环节。不可以上成语法课或只是讲解其中知识点、做练习。备课时要列出本课要达到的目标及要掌握的语言点、功能及听说技能。

具体的教学步骤:

1.教学新单词。听说课不同于阅读课,它重点在于培养学生的听说技能,所以在真正听说之前要教会学生掌握新单词及一些重要的短语,特别是它们的发音。(此部分也可结合2 “听前活动”一起进行)。

2.听前活动

听前指听前准备阶段。即该阶段师生所进行的活动。其目的是介绍听说语篇的主题,文体或听力的目的,使学生对该语篇有所感知,这样学生就可以有备而听。而且可教学部分重要的新单词、词组。如初二上半学期,以莎老师在教Module4 Unit1时,通过一段与学生的free talk“Who is your good friend?”等问题自然引出like the same thing 和get on well with等短语,在教新单词的同时也对课文内容有所了解。有时我们也可以给出主题,让学生猜测将会听到什么内容。当然,我们也可通过图片、录像、录音、有关话题、引导性的问题等介绍课文有关的文化背景知识或设置与课文有关的情景,引出课文中的生词、句型及内容。

3.听中活动

要求学生不看书听录音磁带,包括泛听和精听。听第一次获取课文中的一般信息。(对话过长的教师可处理为2-3个独立部分);精听阶段要求学生在初步理解语篇基础上进一步理解语篇的细节和重要事实,所以听第二次时应提出一些具体的细节问题,以获取课文中的具体信息。根据学生的不同程度设计的检查学生理解能力的题型有难、易之分,其中包括单项/多项选择题、对错题、搭配题、改错题、问答题等。(有些较难的句子中间可停顿,让学生有思考的时间;开放型问题可逐渐增多)。

4.跟录音带朗读。

5.语言点的讲解。

6.读:其形式包括朗读、默读、对话、角色扮演等。

以上只是我们在英语听说课中的一些不成熟的尝试,希望大家共同交流探讨。
