为了调动同学们的英语学习的积极性,我院外国语学院于10月16日晚上在第一阶梯教室举办了“CCTV杯”英语演讲比赛院级初赛。外国语分院副院长邓肖丽老师、学院院务委员覃升堂老师以及各分院领导出席了本次比赛,各分院英语老师担任了本次比赛的评委。

本次比赛共分两个环节:英语演讲,即兴回答问题。本次比赛共有来自我院的21名选手参赛,选手们经过悉心准备,比赛进行得非常激烈。在紧张激烈的比赛气氛中,选手们表现可圈可点,口语标准流利,语调抑扬顿挫,自信而有激情,展现出了良好的精神风貌和个人风采。在评委提问环节,选手们沉着冷静地回答了评委提出的问题。赢得了台下同学们的阵阵掌声。

经过激烈的竞争与精彩的表现,07商务英语1班的韦洁和黄丹丹两位同学脱颖而出获得了本次比赛的一等奖。其次,二等奖3名,

上英语课了,老师让我们一大组和二大组比赛,双方开始了激烈的比赛,我们一大组和二大组打了十几个回合,仍然不分胜负,快下课了,二大组有45分,我们一大组有40分,我们一大组的人都已精疲力尽,我一看着急了,在急切之下,我突然站了起来,“老师我会”,结果老师就挑我了,我回答了XXXX个问题。老师给我们加了15分,一下子就超过了第二组10分。正在这时下课铃声响起。

下课后我们第一组的同学团聚在一起载歌载舞,互相庆祝我们一大组的胜利。

一、教材分析

本课是外研社小学英语三年级起点五年级上册Module9 Unit1。Module 9 Book 5的主题是“Feelings”, Unit 1 Are you feeling sad?的语言功能是Talking about feelings.(谈论情绪和感受);学习任务为:学习目标语句“Are you feeling sad/happy/angry/bored?”并能用 Yes, I am./ No, I’m not.来回答询问。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是五年级学生。五年级学生在英语听说读写方面的能力有了一定的基础,具备了初步用英语进行交流,用英语做事的能力。因此在学习新知时,要尽可能多地联系学生们的实际生活,创造贴近生活的语言环境,让学生在真实的语境中更好地理解课文,和运用所学语言。让学生在小组合作,对话交流的积极参与过程中,培养其积极的情感态度和在生活中用所学英语进行交流的能力。

三、教学目标 知识目标:

1、能够听、说、认读sad, bored, angry, mi, nothing ,secret, surprise.等新授单词。

2.能够听懂会说本模块功能句型Are you feeling sad/bored/angry/happy? 及其答语(Yes,I am./No,I’m not.)。 技能目标:

1.能够运用句型“ “Are you feeling„?”来询问他人感受。并能够参与并完成小组活动。

2.能在日常生活中运用所学语言来询问他人情感和表达自己的情感。情感目标:

1、学会关心他人,分享他人的喜、怒、哀、乐。在分享情感的过程中,感受到友情的可贵和亲情的温暖。

2.在活动和交流的过程中,感受到自己的“所学”能有“所用”,从而提高学习英语的自信心,增强求知欲。语用目标:

能在生活中灵活运用本课句型表达自己的情感,询问他人情绪感受,表达对他人的关心。

外语系2012——2013—1学期外语演讲竞赛活动通知

为了活跃学习气氛,丰富校园文化,提高我系学生外语口语兴趣和能力,经系研究决定本学期举办外语演讲竞赛。

英语专业参赛要求:

每位学生选择两个主题,主题一:“What We Cannot Afford to Lose”为必选题目。学生根据这一主题组织各自演讲内容并自拟小标题。主题二从附录二中任选一个并自拟演讲题目。 英语专业参赛具体办法如下:

第一阶段:初赛(2012年11月下旬)

各班学生在本班内演讲,赛前根据上述要求自行准备两篇演讲稿,时间为3分钟左右,由指导老师赛前指导。初赛时由指导老师现场指定其中一篇参与比赛。优秀占20%(85分以上),良好占60%(75分—84分),及格(60分—74分)和不及格(60分以下)共占20%。学生所得分数计入外国语系期中口语成绩,占50%。

第二阶段:半决赛(2012年12月上旬)

各班选出两名最佳选手,参加本年级内演讲竞赛,题目参考附录问题自拟,时间为8分钟左右,包含演讲和即行回答问题两个阶段。本阶段由系里统一安排时间和地点,评委由系里有关领导和老师组成。竞赛评出一等奖1名,二等奖2名,三等奖3名,颁发证书和奖品。

为了激发广大同学学习英语的热情,提高同学对英语口语的兴趣,营造一个良好的英语学习氛围,为更多的同学提供一个尽情挥洒创意,展现英语风采的舞台,我组在全校英语老师和同学的支持下,于4月4日举行了英语演讲比赛,此次比赛主要针对八,九年级的学生。学生参加的积极性很高,报名人数多,在学生中有一定的影响力,

比赛设有初赛和决赛,给选手们提供了更多的表现机会,体现“公平,公正,公开”的比赛原则。决赛荣幸地邀请了我校全体英语老师为评委。九年级办公室作为本次演讲比赛的地点,每班选出前两名进入决赛。在正式比赛之前为体现“公平”原则,组织各参赛选手进行抽签,已决定各选手上场顺序,比赛过程中,每两名选手进行一次统分及报分,以体现比赛的“公开”性。决赛结束后,各评委对选手的表现进行了点评,只出了个选手在比赛过程中的不足和缺点,提出对同学们的期望,以及对同学们的鼓励,经过评委的评比打分,最终角逐出:一等奖2名,二等奖4名,三等奖5名,最佳人气奖1名,最佳才艺奖2名,他们分别是:

综上终结,本次英语演讲赛之所以能取的这么大的成功,主要得益于事先周密的安排,学生会各部之间的齐心协力,同学们的积极参与以及学校团委,学院分团委大力关心和支持,这是一次成功的比赛,是一次圆满的比赛!不仅让同学们从中学到了确实有用的东西,而且也为我校营造学习英语的良好氛围出了一份力,使我校呈现出更高的学习英语的浪潮。它对我们学生会以后怎么样开展活动,开展什么样的活动有着重大的指导意义,为我们今后的工作打下了坚实的基础!

演讲比赛选拔赛

根据学校‚关于举办2011年‘外研社杯’全国英语演讲大赛初赛暨大理学院第七届大学生英语演讲比赛的通知‛的要求,我院领导高度重视,根据我院的院情,由公共卫生学院团委、学生会负责组织此次选拔赛活动。在我院党总支龙梦蛟书记的要求和指导下,我院于2011年9月21日晚9点30分在下关校区公共卫生学院实验楼219举行了公共卫生学院院级选拔赛。

我院的选拔赛活动按照学校的通知要求举行。接到该通知后,按照龙书记的要求,首先我们在公共卫生学院在校的14个班级,970名学生中进行宣传。其次,由各班组织报名和选拔,最终班级推荐一名选手参加院级的选拔赛。最后,我们在班级推上来的11名选手中举行了学院的选拔赛。比赛形式上,分为两个环节进行:定题演讲和即兴演讲。时间的控制上,我们严格按照学校通知的要求来做,目的是让选手先适应正规比赛的流程。选拔赛现场,我们是以PPT的形式来把选拔赛的目的、内容、注意事项和评分标准展示和讲解给所有参赛选手和观众,时间控制上也是采用PPT,采用倒计时来提醒各位选手和评委。 由于我院2011级新生军训结束时间较晚,所以选拔赛进行的也较晚,参加选拔赛的新生还来不及换下他们的军训服就匆匆赶往选拔赛现场,表现得特别的积极。同时,选拔赛现场,各选手跃跃欲试,尽显其能,现场气氛异常活跃。有的选手能够脱稿演讲,表现得十分的精彩。参赛选手的精彩演讲也不断博得整整掌声,并且得到评委的一致肯定。最后,经过激烈的角逐,我院选拔赛评出前三名选手给予精神鼓励,同时将获得第一名的选手旃立林同学推荐到学校参加比赛。

本次活动的宣传力度大,同学们的报名热情特别高,各班级中经过激烈角逐才选出一名选手参加院级选拔赛。可以看出:我院学生学习英语的热情度很高。此次比赛给同学们提供了一个充分展示自己的平台,提高了同学‚开口讲英语‛的积极性,增强了同学们的综合英语水平,而且增加了同学们相互交流的机会。

专家点评:引用文学大师的诗句作为开场白,与结束语首尾呼应,颇有感染力。东西方文化的融合表现得十分鲜明,意味深长,是篇优秀的演讲。 croing the sea good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.the title of my speech today is croing the sea.an english poet by the name of rudyard kipling once wrote in his poem we and they: all the people like us are we and everyone else is they we live over the sea while they live over the way we eat pork and beef with cowhorn-handled knives they who gobble their rice off a leaf are horrified out of their lives. when these lines first caught my eyes, i was shocked-how could two peoples remain so isolated and ignorant of each other in the past? todays society, of course, is an entirely different picture.those people who used to eat with cowhorn-handled knives might be very skillful in using chopsticks, and those people who used to gobble their rice might be as well have taken to fish and chips. indeed, just take china as an example: our modern life has been influenced by western style of living in so many ways that its no longer surprising to see teenagers going crazy about rock-and-roll, whole families dining out at mcdonalds and even rather elderly people dreed in apple jeans. however, these are only some expreions of the cultural changes taking place in our society today.what is really going on is a subtle but significant restructuring of the nations mentality.just look around. it is therefore evident that we as descendants of an ancient eastern civilization are already living under strong inf1uence of the western culture.but it is not only in china that we find the incorporation of the two cultures. take the chinese acupuncture as another example: this traditional treatment of diseases is finally finding its way to the west and hence the underlying notion that illne is resulted from the imbalance between yin and yang within the body -- an idea which would strike any westerner as incredible in the past! ladies and gentlemen, we live in a great epoch when the global integration of economy and the information revolution have brought cultures of the world closer than ever before.we live in a particular era when countries, east and west, find themselves in need of readjusting their traditional values.we live, at the same time, at a critical juncture of our evolution because such problems as ethnic conflicts and regional unrest are increasingly posing a threat to the peace and happine of the whole human race.to cope with such an era and to embrace an even brighter therefore, it is our sacred responsibility to promote the cultural exchanges and hence the mutual understanding between china and the rest of the world. it is my happiest dream that the new generation of chinese will not only grow up drinking coca-cola and watching hollywood, but also be bleed with the far-reaching benefits of multiple cultures; benefits that our forefathers had never, ever dreamed of. to end my speech, i would like to quote rudyard kipling again: all the people like us are we and everyone else is they but once you cro over the sea you will end by looking on we as only a sort of they thank you. 译文:穿越海洋

英语朗诵比赛

星期五,学校举行全校英语朗诵比赛。为了迎接这次重要的比赛,我早已做好了准备。

比赛开始了,选手们一个接一个上场比赛。我站在场外,听到正在朗诵的同学那熟练的声音时,心里非常紧张。我不停地给自己鼓劲:“不要紧张,不要紧张!你是最棒的!”想着想着,我信心倍增,就有了一种不可战胜的感觉。轮到我上场,我先朗诵了中文,然后又很流利地朗诵了英语故事

《TWOLIONS》。比赛结束了,我终于松了口气。宣布结果时,我的心又再次提到了嗓子眼。当广播里传来“三年级组一等奖沈泽宇”时,我悬在心中的石头一下子落了下来。

放学后,我忍不住心中的喜悦,像小鸟一样飞进了家门。我为自己的表现而感到高兴。

稿件:选手须自己备稿。内容最好围绕本届艺术节主题,可为中外古今优秀经典诗歌,也可是原创作品,作品要求内容健康真实。如是原创作品,在报名时请说明,比赛时酌情加分(详见评分细则)。

形式:单人、双人、集体均可,辅助表现形式仅限配乐、造型。 赛程:

(1)http://www.daodoc.com/yanjianggao/选手按照抽签决定的顺序出场表演,要求脱稿朗诵。未脱稿者将在评分中扣去一定分数(详见评分细则)。

(2)每组表演时间不得超过3分钟。超时者将在评分中扣去一定分数(详见评分细则)。 (3)评委在每组选手表演结束后打分,交由计分人员统计。每组选手的得分在下一组选手表演结束后由主持人当场公布。

2010-2011学年第一学期宜兴市钮家小学英语朗诵比赛总结

为了营造学校的英语氛围,提高学生的英语朗读水平和朗读兴趣,并检阅学生的英语朗诵情况。在本学期第14周的星期四的大课间进行了中年级的英语朗诵比赛,此次评分细则增加了“朗读习惯”项目10分。

总结如下:

1.各班能结合学校的朗诵习惯要求,认真朗诵,精神佳;

2.学生的英语朗诵的语音、语速、语调都比上学期有一点进步,但是有个别班对抽到的课文不熟悉,对一些长句的单词发音不到位;

3.有部分学生对课文内容不是很熟悉,读书的速度拖拉。

今后的改进措施:

1.增加朗读的频率,如在每节课课前几分钟有计划地安排朗读课文的内容,降低学生的遗忘率;

2.利用、安排好每天的朗读读时间,认真检查学生的朗读情况,尤其是三年级的,如果英语老师不能到位的,要提前与班主任沟通、安排好;

3.有效率地布置每天的朗读内容,教师要检查跟踪到位。

通过师生们平时的努力,同学们朗读英语的语音,语调都很不错,语速也正常,但存在有个别学生是喊读的.比赛中做得较好的是一(2)班,二(1)班,能结合动作来朗读,学生的积极性高涨.三年级朗读单词时加上中文,学生记单词较牢固.不足的地方,如:低年级朗读Let\'s Learn,Let\'s Chant的句子时,单词含糊,发音不够准确.中高年级朗读词形相似的词汇时易混淆,如:it 读成its,有个别单词的尾音吞掉了.部分学生朗读较急躁,并喊读.在此次活动中,存在有好的和不足之处,希望在日后的教学中,发挥老师个人的良好语言素质,扬长避短,改正不足之处.获奖名单: *****************

我校为了展现学生蓬勃向上的精神风貌,营造良好和谐的校园社团文化,活跃业余学习生活氛围.我院外国语学院天英社于12月份开展了”天英之声”英文朗诵大赛,通过此次活动的开展,提高了同学们的文化素质和道德情操,激发了同学们学习英语的积极性,增强了同学们的参与性和交际活动能力.以下是本次活动的总结: 一.本次活动强化了比赛规范:此次比赛分为班级报名.预赛.初赛.决赛四个部分.系中各班发挥自己的积极性和主动性,公平竞争,选出优秀选手;通过初赛公开公正地选拔出的选手参加决赛,决赛得到了系领导的大力支持,外语系的老师参加了此次活动并做了精彩点评,评出本次比赛的获奖选手,并颁发了获奖证书和奖品.二.提高了学生的参与意识和能力:本次比赛深受同学们的欢迎和支持,各系同学踊跃报名参加,体现了挑战自我,展示自我的当代大学生风采;其他未能参加的同学也积极主动地观看比赛,整个比赛现场洋溢着热烈的气氛,不时发出阵阵喝彩声和鼓舞声.他们纷纷表示如果今后有诸如此类的有益活动一定会积极踊跃报名参加,说明本次活动在同学中产生的广泛而深刻的影响,为他们的素质提升开辟了道路.三.增强了同学们的驾驭语言的能力和表达技巧:通过本次活动进一步强化了学生对英语口语的练习,并在比赛中,专家评委针对选手们参赛的内容,声音洪亮,语音发音准确,清晰自然,感情投入,停顿恰当,重音句词合理,语调婉转自如等方面作出了详细入微的点评且及时认真地纠正了参赛选手们的发音标准有效的增强了同学们的语言表达技能.四.充分展现了当代大学生的精神风貌和自我展示空间:在参赛中,选手可以尽情发挥自己的才能,进行个人才艺展示,给同学们提供了一个充分展示自我的平台;即兴回答问题中,选手现场发散思维.脱口而出.有条不紊,无不展现出当代大学生的新风尚,新面貌,为他们各方面能力的提高奠定了基础.此次活动在热烈的掌声和喝彩声中拉下了帷幕,来自我社团演讲部的李洁荣获桂冠,参赛选手的才华横溢.深情演绎博得了评委们及现场众多观众的阵阵喝彩.通过本次活动,丰富了大学生的课余活动,增强了大家学习英语的兴趣,营造了良好的英语学习氛围.当然,通过此次活动,我们从中发现还存在着不少问题:比如活动宣传力度不够,学生的语言表达能力还不够理想等问题.这些我们都会在今后的工作中不断努力,不断提高,以便更好的推动同学们的朗诵水平的提高.本次活动激发了同学们学习英语的热情,对他们综合素质的提高起到了很好的作用.同时,也在全院营造了一个积极向上.健康的英语学习氛围,激发了同学们对外国文化的兴趣.
