二 .Teaching methods

As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language.So in this leon I’ll mainly use “Task-based” teaching method.That is to say, I will let the Ss learn

in real situations, finish a task by making a survey to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue.I will arrange four kinds of activities: singing, gueing game, finishing a survey and having a competition.And in this leon a recorder, CAI, school things and a printed form will be needed.Students should prepare some school things.

① Teach the Ss how to be succeful language learners.

The Ss has learned English for about one month so far.They can understand some words and some simple sentences.The Ss have taken a great interest in English now.

As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students\' abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language.So in this leon I\'ll mainly use \"Communicative\" teaching method, \"Audio-visual\" teaching method and \"Task-based\" teaching method.That is to say, I\'ll let the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue.I\'ll give the Ss some tasks and arrange five kinds of activities: talking, gueing games, watching CAI, acting out Sample A and having a competition.

To use these methods are helpful to develop the Ss\' thought.Part Three STUDYING WAYS

Part Four Teaching Procedure

I\'ll finish this leon in four steps.First I\'ll divide the Ss into four groups and bring a competition into the cla.At last let\'s see which group is the winner.

Step1 Warm-up

1.Free talk between T and Ss .

Who can count from 1to 5

What\'s this in English etc.

2.A game: Ask the Ss to give T some school things.For example:T: Give me your book.(ruler, box, pen, table, knife, etc.)

T: This is your book.This is not my book.It\'s your book.etc.

In this course I\'ll ask them to make a dialogue group by group without repetition.Find out which group will make the most dialogues.

Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is neceary to provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step2.Presentation

This course is very important.I\'ll mainly talk about this step.

I\'ll use CAI to present the whole dialogue.Arrange some situations to help Ss understand Sample A.

First scene: There is a bag onthe floor.B is picking it up and get ready to leave.Now A is talking with B.

A: Hi, B.How are you today

B: I\'m fine, thank you.And you

A: I\'m fine, too.Oh, this is my bag.

B: No, this is not your bag.It\'s my bag.

A: (Look closely) Oh, I\'m sorry.

B: That\'s all right.

(At the same time, C is running up and hitting A.)

C: Oh, I\'m sorry.

A: That\'s OK.

I\'ll write the key points on the Bb while they are watching.After watching, I\'ll teach them to read the words and sentences on the Bb.Make sure they can read them well.

Purpose of my designing: To present Sample A by CAI is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.CAI can provide a real situation with its sound and picture and it makes the relationships between the Ss better.

Step3.Practice

First play the tape recorder.Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue.Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.In this step the Ss

are required to practise the Sample in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud.This step is employed to make the Ss grasp the Sample .At last I\'ll ask the Ss to think hard and act it out with a partner according to Sample

A.Then find out which group will act it out well.I\'ll give them red stars.Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one.At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening and spoken ability.Step4.Production

In this step I\'ll give the Ss a free space to show their abilities.Second scene: The Ss are having a picnic.It\'s hot and they take off their coats and put them together.They are singing and dancing, laughing and chatting.After the picnic, they begin to look for their coats.D and E are talking.F and G are talking.etc.

After watching, I\'ll give the Ss some tasks to make similar dialogues without repetition and find out which group will make more dialogues.Purpose of my designing: \"Task-based\" teaching method is used here to develop the Ss\' ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Tell the Ss we should be polite and take good care of our things.We should love our life.I think proper competition can arouse the Ss\' interest in English learning.If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English.

2.Skill 1 Model 1.

I\'ll ask four Ss of the groups to write these sentences on the Bb in the four lines.

Then check their handwriting, correct their mistakes.Find out who will write well and whose handing is the best.

3.Finish the Ss\' workbook.

Purpose of my designing: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this leon.

Step5.Homework:

(1)Recite the words as many as poible after cla.

(2)Make a dialogue according to Sample A and write it in the exercise book.Purpose of my designing: I think homework is so important that the Ss should speak English as much as they can in cla or after cla.It is neceary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after cla to consolidate the knowledge they learned.

另外良好的沟通,需要耐心的聆听对方,了解他心中的感受。教师对学生积极聆听的态度,可以使学生觉得受到重视并肯定自己的价值。要避免当学生讲话时,急于表达自己的观点。

6.怎样提高学生学习英语的兴趣?

2.调动学生的积极性,组织他们利用表达好奇功能结构谈论他们所感兴趣话题。

3.听力是这一课的难点。听力材料介绍是古代法国人用来射箭的一种武器。材料长,对武器的结构的解释比较复杂。但是学生听过材料后能够顺利地完成课本上的练习。这里不要求学生理解细节,只要能完成练习就行。

2.调控策略:通过听力让学生了解到听力有时很难,不可求全责备。可以材料调整听力要求。有的要听懂细节,有的甚至要推断隐含内容,但有的只需要掌握大意。

3.交际策略:通过谈论古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具和谈论兴趣等真实交际活动提高用英语交际的能力。同时让学生了解表情、动作等非语言手段提高交际效果。

4.资源策略:让学生了解博物馆、名胜古迹和书籍资料一样是学习的重要途径。

(四)文化意识

1.了解英语国家对文化遗产保护的态度。

2.了解西方国家部分古代用具。

3.通过中外古代文化对比,加深对中国文化的理解。

教学方法(Teaching methods):

上述教学目标和重难点的确定是基于“TEFL Teaching English as a Foreign Language教学理论及方法”和“整体语言教学理论”,其中渗透当前课程改革的一些理念。为达成上述教学目标,我将运用以下教学方法以达成目标: 1.任务型教学法(Task-based method)

(一) 导入(Lead-in

这一步骤的重点在于激发学生对考古学的兴趣,因为一般学生认为考古没什么有趣的。

活动方式:师生互动。教师盯着天花板的一处看30秒钟。引起全班同学一起去看。然后问:What do you see?

学生自然会回答:Nothing.然后再问Do you know what I was looking at? 学生自然会回答:No, I

don’t.然后告诉学生老师根本没有看什么,只是做一个动作而已。再问Why did you look at there after

me?学生答不上。老师告诉学生That is because of curiosity.再问What is the word

curiosity from?

学生学过curious,所以能答上来。老师再讲:根据心理学的观点,每个人都具有对新鲜事物认识的兴趣,这叫做Curiosity。然后给出一个新词:

Archaeology(板书课题)并指出This is a new word for you.You may want to know

it.老师再问Do you think it is a course or a science?部分学生会答Yes.接着问Why do

you think it is a science?学生会说出他们学过以-ology结尾的词。这时便可以打出幻灯片,再进行以下活动:

(三)预备(Warming up 5)

活动形式:分组评论。谈论课本上的四幅图画。先指出中华民族有着悠久的历史和灿烂的文化。每年都有许多西方人到中国来旅游。如果你想为他们提供帮助,就得学会用英语谈论中国古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具等。然后用What

did they eat? Where did they live? What did their homes look like?

What kind of tools did they use? What objects have we found from

their age? What kind of entertainment did they have?

谈论古代人的饮食起居、文化娱乐、生产工具。

(四)听力(listening 12)

教学形式:师生互动。播放磁带让学生听第一遍,提问材料的大意。播放第二遍,让学生完成课后练习。做听力训练之前的准备工作是非常重要的。

总结:今天的听力材料较难,但是同学们能很好回答课后问题这就够了,不一定要了解那些细节,不可求全责备。根据不同制订不同学习目标是有效学习重要环节。

(五)对话(speaking 10)

活动形式:组对练习。

1.发出指令,提出要求;

2.学习会话范例;

3.给对话所用句式;

4.学生组对谈论兴趣与建议。

最后用两分钟总结本课内容和布置作业。

 时态(包括一般现在时、一般过去时、一般将来时、现在进行时、过去进行时、过去将来时、将来进行时、现在完成时、过去完成时和现在完成进行时);被动语态;

 非谓语动词(包括动词不定式、动词的-ing形式和动词的-ed形式);

 间接引语、主谓一致、省略、倒装、强调和虚拟语气。 功能意念:掌握社会交往、态度、情感、时间、空间、存在、特征、计量、比较、逻辑关系和职业等功能项目。

话题:了解包括个人情况、家庭、朋友与周围的人、周围环境、日常活动、学校生活、兴趣与爱好、个人感情、人际关系、计划与愿望、节假日活动、购物、饮食、健康、天气、文娱与体育、旅游和交通、语言学习、自然、世界与环境、科普知识与现代技术、热点话题、历史与地理、社会及文学与艺术等话题的基本结构和功能。

(2)英语语言技能

阅读理解能力:能理解文章主旨和要义;能理解文章中具体信息;能根据上下文推断单词或词组词义;能作出简单判断和推测;能理解文章的基本结构;能理解作者的意图、观点和态度。

写作能力:了解英语写作基础知识,具有用英语进行信息交流的写作能力。能用英语书写摘要、报告、通知和公务信函等;能写出语意连贯且结构完整的短文,叙述事情或表达观点和态度;能在写作中

做到文体规范、语句通顺。

2.高等教育对应于中学英语学科教学内容 (1)基础英语

熟悉和掌握相当于英语专业高年级水平的基础词汇、语音知识、语法知识和语篇知识;具备综合运用英语的能力,有较好的听、说、读、写能力和初步的翻译能力,能根据特定语境理解和使用英语。

(2)英语语法

掌握构词法知识(包括基本构词法和各种词类的形式及其功能)、句法知识(包括各种句式的构成及功能;掌握联句成篇的衔接手段等;能注意形式与功能的联系;能根据特定的语境理解语篇意义,使用恰当的语句形成连贯的语篇)。

(3)英语写作基础

掌握英语写作基础理论、具备写作构思的能力、文字组织的能力和修改能力。能准确审题,正确使用时态和语态,恰当地使用符合写作主题的词汇与句子;能根据文体特点,构思篇章结构;能根据主题和文体的要求使用恰当的词汇,词汇之间语法关系正确。

(4)跨文化交际

了解主要英语国家的历史、地理、政治及其主要文化特点;了解文化的概念,理解英语文化与汉语文化的共性与个性,了解和认识语言与文化的内在关系,文化教学的意义和跨文化交际的概念;能根据不同情景和对象得体地使用英语进行跨文化交际。

(5)高级英语

能够阅读、理解和分析反映社会政治、经济和文化一般性题材及优秀人文作品的英语篇章,具备逻辑思维与批判性思维的能力;能掌握主要的英语修辞手段。

(6)翻译技巧

掌握基本的翻译理论与技巧。在英汉翻译时,能在准确理解英语原文的基础上,运用词性转换和句式转换等手段,产生达意通顺的汉语译文。在汉英翻译时,能准确判断汉语原文的内在含义和使用功能,恰当选择词汇和组织句子,产生符合英语表达习惯的英语译文。

(二)学科课程与教学论及其应用

1.中学英语课程标准内容

理解中学英语课程性质、基本理念、课程设计思路、课程目标、内容标准以及实施建议等相关内容(报考初中英语教师的考生主要参考《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》;报考高中英语教师的考生主要参考《普通高中英语课程标准(实验稿)》)。

2.中学英语教学基础知识与基本能力

(1)理解听说法、交际法、多元智能、任务型教学等教学法的特点及其功能,能根据不同的教学内容,选择并应用恰当的教学方法和教学手段。

(2)熟悉中学英语语音、词汇、语法以及听、说、读、写等的教学原则,能根据所提供的教学文本、教学任务进行教学设计。

(3)能合理有效应用现代信息技术,促进信息技术与教育教学深度融合。

(4)了解形成性评价和终结性评价等不同类型评价的特点与功能。

(5)具备基本的中学英语测试的设计与评价能力。

四、考试形式和试卷结构 1.考试形式:闭卷、笔试。

本册教材具有以下几个特点:

1、注重学生语言运用潜力的培养,突出语言的实践性和交际性,同时也突出语言的真实性和实用性。

2、注重学生自学潜力和学习策略的培养,为学生的进一步学习或终身学习奠定基础。

3、注重中外文化的双向交流,使学生透过学习,培养未来跨文化交际所需要的潜力。

4、注重学生学习兴趣的培养,以不同方式最大限度的激发学生的学习动机。

5、注重融合学科资料,加强学科之间的整合和渗透,让学生透过英语学习来获得其他学科的知识。

6、注重教材的灵活性和可操作性,以满足不同层次的学生的需求。

7、注重教学资料的配套,为学生带给良好的英语学习环境,帮忙学生拓展自我发展的空间。

8、注重中小学各阶段的衔接,以保证各学段的顺利过渡,全面提高中小学英语教学的整体质量。

三、教学措施

1、认真备课,钻研教材,抓紧课堂教学,做到当堂资料当堂掌握。

2、运用各种不同的肢体语言来辅助教学。

3、在课堂上多开展一些搞笑的活动、游戏让学生在活动中学习英语,在生活中学习英语。

4、多为学生营造一些学习氛围,如:创设英语角等等。

5、要求学生在课余时间尽量的运用已经学习的英语进行对话。

6、多看英语画报,多读英语故事,多看英语书籍。

7、多与学生交流,进行口语交际训练。

四、主要教学目标:

1、能听懂、会说12组会话,并能进行简单的交流。

2、能听、说、认读60个单词和词组并能听、说、读、写61个单词和24个句子(包括学校、时间、衣服、天气、购物、农场动物、数字、颜色等几个话题),并简单运用。

3、能听、做6个TPR活动。

4、能学会3个小制作。

5、能唱8首歌曲。

6、能听、说、唱7首歌谣。

7、能完成6个自我评价活动。

8、能听懂6个幽默小故事。

9、能了解6项简单的中西方文化知识。

六、班级状况分析

四年级从上个学期的状况来看在英语学习上掌握较好,主要表现为学习成绩层次上很均匀,英语学习兴趣很高,口语朗读上较为扎实。在教学上我最多的是在个别辅导之余引导他们分组相互学习,师徒结队,共同进步。

这一学年来,本人担任高二(5-6)两班的英语教师,在相互认识了之后,积极地去了解学生,去摸清学生的学习基础,以便“因材施教”。本人在教学中认真备课、上课、听课,及时批改作业、讲评作业,做好课后辅导工作,广泛涉猎各种知识,形成比较完整的知识结构,严格要求学生,尊重学生,发扬教学民主,使学生学有所得,从而不断提高自己的教学水平和思想觉悟,并顺利完成教育教学任务。 下面是本人对一学年教学工作的一个总结: 要提高教学质量,关键是上好课。为了上好课,我做了下面的工作:课前准备,备好课。

①认真钻研教材,对教材的基本思想、基本概念,每句话、每个字都弄清楚,了解教材的结构,重点与难点,掌握知识的逻辑,能运用自如,知道应补充哪些资料,怎样才能教好。

②了解学生原有的知识技能的质量,他们的兴趣、需要、方法、习惯,学习新知识可能会有哪些困难,采取相应的预防措施。

③考虑教法,解决如何把已掌握的教材传授给学生,包括如何组织教材、如何安排每节课的活动。高二的学生基础还是比较差,所以在课堂上我尽量用最简易的语言授课,争取让学生能在一定的时间内掌握得最好.在复习过程中是非常枯燥的,所以课堂上激发学生学习英语的兴趣尤为重要.兴趣是最好的老师,有了兴趣,学生就会产生求知欲,视学习为乐趣,而不是负担。只有在教学中培养学生的学习兴趣,增强教学效果,才能避免在以后的学习中产生两极分化。英语课堂既是吸取知识的主战场,又是内化技能的练兵所,但有限的时间无法使学生们充分把这些技能和知识据为己有并消化吸收。利用一定的时间复习巩固已学知识,训练相应技能是提高学习效率不可或缺的重要组成部分。我的具体做法是把语言教学与练习联系起来,上课时尽量结合时事、热点,给学生讲有关政治、历史、社会等各方面的新闻、幽默等。课后做到多和学生交流接触,了解学生的需要,以及他们对课堂上知识的掌握程度.并且在课后还布置学生专门做一些综合能力的作业.比如说一天两篇阅读理解和一篇完型填空.而且我在教学中会认真设计相应的课后练习,让学生达到学以致用;如果课堂所学的是一些基本的语言点,我就会给学生一些相应的训练,让学生巩固课堂所学知识,并懂得如何在实际中应用;如果课堂教学的是阅读课,我会给出一些关键词,让学生复述课文。没有课后练习的复习巩固,学习效果会大打折扣,效率就提不高。讲课生动有趣 我在讲课时,尽量讲得生动有趣,在完成教学任务的同时,经常给学生穿插一些英文歌曲、电影片段,来激发学生的学习兴趣。

课后我积极参与听课,虚心向同行学习教学方法,博采众长,提高教学水平。培养多种兴趣爱好,到图书馆博览群书,不断扩宽知识面,为教学内容注入新鲜血液。 这一学期来,阅读在英语特别是考试中占的比例很大。而本人所教的两个班的学生阅读能力都不是特别好。在今后阅读理解的复习是一个重点,复习时我应注意到了以下几点: 1.提高学生的阅读量大。阅读速度要求每分钟48.5个词以上。 2让其训练的题材应多样化。包括日常生活、风俗习惯、人物传记、文化教育、社会、史地、科技、政治、经济等内容。不能只局限于某种题材。

3体裁多样化。包括说明文、记叙文、议论文、应用文等 。 4.让其了解阅读理解的主要题型 。 5.掌握必要的阅读理解解题技巧。

一般来说,对记叙文注意5w和1h;对描述文注意主要情节,对说明文或论证文要注意主旨句。

另外,做阅读理解还要善于抓关键词语,如承接词and, besides, but, never, etc 。走进21世纪,社会对教师的素质要求更高,在今后的教育教学工作中,我将更严格要求自己,努力工作,发扬优点,改正缺点,开拓前进,为美好的明天贡献自己的力量。
