Grammar Verb Tense Consistency

Verb tense consistency on the sentence level

1.Keep tenses consistent within sentences.

2.Do not change tenses when there is no time change for the action.

3.Since there is no indication that the actions happened apart from one another, there is no reason to shift the tense of the second verb.

4.Change tense only when there is a need to do so.Usually, the timing of actions within a sentence will dictate when the tense must change.Verb tense consistency on the paragraph level 1.Generally, establish a primary tense and keep tenses consistent from sentence to sentence. 2.Do not shift tenses between sentences unle there is a time change that must be shown. Verb tense consistency on the eay level 1. Use present tense when writing eays about your own ideas, factual topics, the action in a specific movie, play, or book.

三、各种名词性从句的用法及练习

一)主语从句

B.主语从句的位置 1.在句首 2.主语较长时通常放在后面,句首主语用 It。

多重复听原唱,先听熟悉它的旋律,然后自己跟着哼一下,之后在看歌词,看看歌词哪些你不会的,去查,之后仔细听原唱的发音,每个词的发音,之后自己跟着唱,唱多几遍就好了,还有原唱的情感要去模仿,这样才能唱好一首歌曲,不过有点难,放开声音唱这是最重要的首先要了解歌里的每个单词并牢牢掌握,这是最基础的。然后多听原歌曲,特别注意词与词之间的特殊读法,英文歌可能因为要押韵和速度而改变连接处的读法,这里要多听多唱,掌握好了对唱好歌很有帮助。另外要注意歌词中的强调重读,同样对歌很关键。至于换气和转音等专业技巧我也无能为力,但这是可以弥补的。唱歌要有放松的心态和充沛的感情,仔细体会歌中内涵和歌者传达的情感,总之要用心唱。

首先要知道元音(vowel)和辅音(consonant)的概念,以及他们的发音方法。我们知道元音前用an,辅音前用a,例如an hour, 这里hour 是以元音发音开头的。与第一个字母是什么无关。 关于发音,辅音多是口腔前腔发音,元音多是后腔发音,例如help,boy,可以自己体会,了解发音规则是掌握连读的基础。也是学好英语,用好英语的关键,口语的能力至关重要。总结常见连读有如下几种:

1、辅音+元音

读成一个词的感觉, 例如I love it, 注意love和it,love 以v音结尾,it以i音开头,读时会听到loveit,vit 注意这个是最终发音的效果。类似的例子很多,I am good at it, did you ? check it out ,cut it out。

2、辅音+辅音(前词结尾与后词开头同音) 只发一个

例如give me some milk, 这里只发一个m的音,听起来就是somilk,同样的help people,只发一个p音。

3、辅音+辅音(前后两个辅音不同)

第一个辅音浊化,也就是吞音, 例如bad boy,d音会发的很轻,甚至不发,再如that thing

4、元音+元音

若第一个词结尾发音相对靠前,两词中间加\"ye\" 若第一个词结尾发音相对靠后,则两次中间加\"w\" 具体地,第一词的结尾音是靠前的后腔发音:例如can you see it? 在see it这里有个连读,see的结尾音相对靠前,在see和it两个词中间加个音\"ye\"

本学期,受领导抬爱和同行信任,我担任了学校初中英语教研组组长一职,现本学期即将结束,在学校领导的关心、指导下,在每一位英语教师的努力下,我们圆满完成了本学期的教研任务和教学工作,总结本学期外语教研组的工作,我们一直朝着以下几个方面努力,并取得了一定的成绩。但也有一些值得思考的、改进的地方,现总结如下:

一,开学初,学校领导决定将以前的年级组改成教研组,办公室也从一楼搬到了三楼,这样做带来了两大好处,首先是同学科的教师一起办公可以更加有效的进行教研交流和业务交流,我们办公室5个人会经常坐在一起讨论一些在教学中存在的问题,比如某个知识点如何给学生讲更有效,如何提高学生学习英语的兴趣,如何更好的帮助学困生等等问题,这样做不但提高了英语教学质量和教学效果,也提高了老师的自生教学水平和业务水平,其次是这样做对月考阅卷有极大的好处,避免了跨学科阅卷的问题,当然也减少了阅卷食物的出现。

二,本学期,我们组进行了四次作业教案的检查,通过检查情况来看,我们组老师无论在备课,还是在必改作业方面都做的相当好,首先是教案和作业都达到了学校要求的篇数和次数,而且是高质量的完成,其次配套练习册和资料不但做到了精讲,而且做到了全批全阅,最后,我们组教师还进行了每个单元的单元检测。

三,教研组活动方面,我们组进行了两次(我和乔霞丽)听评课活动,达到了相互学习,相互促进,相互提高的目的,此外,七年级的周媛老师和杜红红老师还举行了盛大的圣诞晚会活动,收到了领导和老师的一致好评。

总之,一学期以来,英语组教师注意自身素质的提高,始终以高标准严格要求自己,在教育教学工作中取得了一定的成绩。但是,我们也深深知道,这些成绩的取得是在各级领导的关心、以及学校其他学科老师的大力支持与配合下取得的。我们还知道,我们的工作还有很多需要提高改进的地方,在今后的工作中,我们决心再接再厉,努力工作,为把学校英语教学各方面的工作提高到一个新层次而奋斗。
