对于任务有着不同层面的定义,总的来说,任务是一种教学活动,“是一件以意义为中心的活动,使学习者使用目的语参与到理解、处理、输出和/或互动之中。”(D.Nunan, 1989)

依据对D.Nunan, J.Yalden, P.Shekan等人的著作和《英语课程标准》等文献的阅读分析,结合对按照任务型教学思路编写的小学教材《新标准英语》、初中教材《新目标英语》的分析,我们可知,任务型教学具有以下基本特征: 1. 任务型教学是交际法(Communicative Approaches)的一种新的形态,是交际法的发展,而不是交际法的替代物。(J.Yalden)

2. 任务型教学强调教学过程,力图让学生通过完成真实生活任务而参与学习过程,而让学生形成运用英语的能力,因此,任务型教学克服了以功能为基础的交际教学法不重视过程的不足。(D.Nunan, P.Skehan) 3. 任务型教学仍然强调培养学生运用英语进行交际的能力,但从更广泛地层面强调培养学生综合语言运用能力。(P.Skehan) 4. 任务型教学强调以真实生活任务为教学中心活动,修正了以功能为基础的教学的活动中存在的真实性不足的问题。(D.Nunan) 5. 任务型教学要求教学活动要有利于学生学习语言知识、发展语言技能,从而提高实际语言运用能力,也就是说,任务型教学并不反对语言知识教学,而是倡导以语言运用能力为目的的语言知识教学。因此,任务既有真实生活任务,也有学习性任务。(D.Nunan, J.Richards, S.Ga) 《新标准英语》是遵循国家《英语课程标准》编写的全新的初中英语教材,因此,已经按照任务型教学思想在教材中设计了相应的任务,供老师在教学中使用。我们就任务型课堂教学的程序给您提供以下建议。

Nunan(1989)和Willis (1996)都曾经探讨过任务教学程序,这些探讨总体上都是任务呈现、教学、任务完成这样的三段式的程序,这是任务教学的task-driven的基本理念的体现,同时也具有明确的教学目的。

任务型教学的课堂教学程序就是:

1、任务呈现

这是任务型的课堂教学所特有的教学环节,任务型的课堂教学一开始就呈现出任务,让学生从课堂教学一开始就明确要完成的任务,然后在任务的驱动下去学习语言知识和进行技能训练,这样的学习过程是任务驱动的(task-driven)过程,有利于强化学习的兴趣和动力,同时有利于体现任务的真实性。也可以在课堂教学一开始不呈现任务,而只是在知识学习和技能训练结束后再呈现任务,并完成任务,但这不是任务驱动型的教学过程,学生的学习动力不如任务驱动过程那么强。

2、任务准备:知识与技能教学

任务准备过程实际上就是我们的课堂教学过程,课堂教学就是为完成任务而进行知识与能力准备的过程。

我们在课堂教学一开始把运用任务呈现给学生之后,学生能够感受到没有足够的知识、能力、技能、信息和文化理解,任务的要求与他们目前的知识与能力存在着明显的知识差距、能力差距、技能差距、信息差距和文化差距。因此,学生就在任务的驱动下,通过学习教学内容来获得完成任务所必需的知识、能力、技能、信息和文化理解,然后才能完成这个任务。 这个学习教学内容的过程就是通常的知识教学和技能训练的过程。

A.知识学习

这是我们通常的语言知识(语音、词汇、语句、语法等)和文化知识教学,但任务教学强调知识教学与任务相关,也就是:知识本身应该是完成任务所必需而学生在此前所缺乏的(即属于知识差距),在知识教学过程中要不断关照任务本身。

B.技能训练

这包括我们通常所说的语言技能(听说读写)的教学,也包括学习技能(学习策略)的教学。当然,任务型教学更强调技能教学与任务相关,也就是:技能本身应该是完成任务所必需而学生在此前所缺乏的(即属于技能差距),同时在技能过程中要不断关照任务本身。 这与常规的课堂教学的程序并无本质区别,但教学过程必须是围绕任务的完成而进行的,也就是所学的知识与技能都是完成任务所必需的,同时教学过程中要不断将正在学习的知识与技能反照到要完成的任务之上,也就是在新学的知识、技能与运用任务之间建立直接的关联,使学生既掌握知识与技能,更形成运用这些知识与技能的能力。

3、任务完成

任务的完成是任务型教学程序的最后环节。学生通过完成任务将在前一环节中学到的知识和形成的技能转化成在真实生活中运用英语的能力。这一环节可以在教学过程中在老师指导下在课堂上完成,如可以安排在教学内容完成之后,或是课堂教学的最后阶段,也可以安排在课后完成。一般短期任务直接在本单元的教学中完成,而长期任务则可以在规定时间内(最好不超过一学期)完成。 对于那些能力要求较高的任务可以要求学生集体完成,一些能力要求一般的任务可以要求学生单独完成。

英语启发教学的七个步骤

在课堂教学中运用启发式教学时也要讲究方法与技巧,不能误把‚满堂问‛当做启发式教学方法与技巧的法宝。提问启发,仅仅是启发教学方法与技巧的一种形式和方法,而不是它的全部。满堂问看起来很热闹,其实如果不注意设问的对象,质量,层次,不注意启发的目的,自始至终都是一个样子,一个架式,学生没有进入被启发的角色,这样的问,问得更多,效果也不会大,甚至是浪费时间。通过实践,我总结归纳如下常见的方法:

1. 创境法。教学中创设一定的‚愤‛‚悱‛情境,让学生在待定的情感氛围中学习。有利于激发学习兴趣,调动学习积极性。例如,我在讲动词‚help‛的不同用法时,我利用电脑多媒体播放了一个顾客买东西时店员问他:‚Can I help you?‛的情景片断和一个人落水后大叫‚help‛的情景画面,然后让学生自己体会它们之间在不同的情景中的不同含义并解释出来,这样学生不但理解了这一词的用法而且由于借助于情景记忆印象很深且不易忘记。

2. 激情法。课堂教学不仅有师生之间知识信息的传递,更有师生之间情感的交流。现代心理学的研究表明:那种明朗的,乐观的心情有助于思泉喷涌,而有郁郁寡欢,万马齐喑的苦闷心情则抑制人的思维。因而,教师在课堂教学中要像音乐指挥那样激起学生的情绪,使之思维活跃,注意力集中,从而为进一步启发奠定良好的基础。课堂上激情启发的方法很多,常见的有:1。通过放录像,录音或生动的讲述,使学生仿佛身如其境,产生情感上的共鸣从而情不自禁地去思维,去探索。 例如,我教‚Air Pollution‛课时,我就放了关于污染的录像,那些由污染主生的可怕的后果深深地触动了学生,为我进一步启发学生理解课文起到了良好的效果。2。找一件能引起学生丰富想象的物品,使学生睹物思情,如英语课教‚我的一家‛时,教师让学生拿出自己家庭的合影,然后用英语介绍,借以激发学生的家庭观念及热爱父母的心情。利用多媒体教学来激发学生对英语学习的兴趣,如上‚Life in the future‛这课时,利用自制的CAI课件给同学看电脑在各个领域中应用的具体例子,使学生对电脑有了感性的认识,激发他们对本课的兴趣,从理学上来说,教师的自信,兴奋,惊奇,赞叹,对学生大脑两半球神经细胞的活动起很大的作用。因而教师在课堂上要饱含感情,并通过自己健康向上的感情去感染学生,使他们从中受到鼓舞和鞭策,调动起思维积极性,体验到成功的欢乐。

3. 设疑法。‚疑‛是探求知识的起点,也是启发学生思维的支点。会不会‚设疑‛是一个教师教学技巧的表现。南宋理学家朱熹说:‚读书无疑者,须教有疑,有疑者,却要无疑,到这里方是长进。‛一个教师,在课堂教学时要注意从‚疑‛入手,巧设悬念,启发学生思维。 换句话说,就是要善于引导学生提出问题,分析问题,解决问,即善于引导学生生疑,质疑,解疑。应当指出的是,设疑不同于一般的课堂提问。它不是让学生马上回答,而是设法造成思维上的悬念,使学生处于暂时的困惑状态,进而激发解疑的动因和兴趣。倒如,有一次讲到介词后动词的变化问题,一学生说介词后的动词全部都要用-ing的形式,于是我就在黑板上写出一句子:The boy did nothing in the claroom rut,然后介绍but 后用sleep还是sleeping?学生中大多数人都认为应用后者。于是,我颇具哲理地启发道:‚真理不一定掌握在多数人手中喔。‛这就形成了一个‚悬念‛,学生大脑皮层优势兴奋中心迅速形成,激起了解决问题的兴趣与需要,然而,我并没有直接告诉他们答案,而是让他们自己回家查资料,第二天告诉我。这样,我不但通过设疑启发学生去思考而且也培养了他们学习的主动性。

4. 寻思法。如果说设疑启发重在‚疑‛,即通过新旧知识的矛盾, 了解问题与分析问题,解决问题之间的悬念来启发学生学习兴趣,那么,寻思启发,则重在‚思‛, 即通过引导学生如何解决问题,解决悬念来启发学生。如我在讲道sometime时就列出sometimes, so-me time, some times 然后问学生它们之间的区别。学生们似曾见过,但又说不清它们的区别。 于是我就启发他们:some可以表示‚一些,某‛,time可表示‚时间,倍数,次‛。然后逐步再启发他们sometime表示‚某一时间‛some time表示‚一些时间‛等等教他们用已学过 的知识来分析, 解决问题,提高了学生的思维能力。

5. 暗示法。课堂教学时,当学生思维出现故障时,教师可以通过语言,手势,表情等种种方法, 给学生以暗示,或接通学生的思路,让他顺利得解决某一问题;或提醒学生思维中出现某些偏差, 让他们迅速回到正确的思路上来。如教师在处理课文时可把课文中的重点, 难点,以及一些关键词按段落板书在黑板上,这样在之后让学生复述课文时, 如学生遇到困难教师就可以用板书来暗示内容,帮助学生完成复述。

6. 对比法。强烈,鲜明的对比往往能给学生留下深刻的印象,有利于学生理解和记忆。这种方法一般用来帮助学生区别那些似是而非,看起来差不多但实际上有较大区别,容易混淆的词,词组或语法概念等。例如,初中学生往往对一般过去时和现在完成时的用法颇感困惑,我就在教现在完成时同现在完成进行时加以对比,从而使学生从困惑中得到较清晰的概念。

7. 类比法。利用某类事物在某些特征上的相似之处, 启发学生从甲物联想到乙物,并学会运用甲物的分析方法来分析乙物。例如,我在给学生讲the other与another的区别时,我就先在another的‚an‛与‘other’之间画一条竖线,然后启发学生根据冠词the ,an 之间的区别去思考the other与another之间的区别, 即通过分析两个冠词与两个不定代词之间的共同特征, 进而从不定冠词和定冠词之间的不同迁移思维出两个不定代词之间类似的区别。这样,不但帮助学生通过类比法解决问题而且教会了学生一种思维方法。

小学英语教学设计分几个步骤

(一)教材分析

1.符合《小学英语新课程标准》的要求

《小学英语新课程标准》是英语教学的基本依据。小学英语教学设计要符合课程标准的要求,全面体现课程标准的理念,即:面向全体学生,注重素质教育;整体设计目标,体现灵活开放;突出学生主体,尊重个体差异;采用活动途径,倡导体验参与;注重过程评价,促进学生发展;开发课程资源,拓展学用渠道。

2.分析每课内容在教材中的地位和作用

教材是教学的载体,新课程提倡“用教材教”,而不是“教教材”。因此,教师要根据学生情况创造性地使用教材。

(二)教学目标

新一轮的英语课程与教学改革是一种以目标为导向的课程设计与实施的过程,它确立了语言技能、语言知识、情感态度价值观三位一体的课程与教学目标。教学目标即预期达到的学习效果和教学标准,它反映了学生要学什么,怎么学。它强调以学生为主体的活动体验与参与,要实际、具体、明确。

(三)教学重点与难点

教学重点是根据教学目标确定的,而教学难点是根据学生的具体情况确定的。由此可见,教学重点并非等同于教学难点。

(四)教学流程的设计

1.课前准备

准备活动是指课前的热身活动或复习准备活动,它的设计要与激活学生的相关知识结合起来,与激发学生的学习兴趣结合起来,同时为新知学习做铺垫。

2.呈现新知

呈现新知开启了课堂教学的大门,是学生产生学习兴趣的重要一步。呈现新知时要避免枯燥的呈现方式,以帮助学生理解、掌握所学新知。呈现方式通常有:教材、录音、简笔画、实物、情景、动画等。

3.课堂操练

4.巩固拓展

巩固拓展是对新知运用的一种提炼和升华。巩固拓展不仅仅注重语言知识与技能,同时还应注重学生在情感、态度价值观方面的拓展与提升。《小学英语新课程标准》倡导“任务型”的教学途径,培养学生综合语言运用能力。因此,教师可通过任务型活动,达到对新知的巩固与拓展。

5.知识小节

教学内容要体现其完整性,为了让学生更加明确教学目标,把握教学重点与难点,小节是必不可少的步骤之一。

(五).布置作业

作业是学生课后巩固和复习新知的主要依据,这一环节的设置不容忽略。教师在布置作业时存在的问题是:机械乏味,缺乏创新。教师布置作业时应注意全面性与个体性的结合以及实用性与创新性的结合。

(六)教学媒体的使用

11、母语教学法/直接教授法——Direct Method:顾名思义,就是直接用英语教学,而不以本身的母语为媒介的一种方法。那么既然有直接教授法,那肯定就有间接教授法,举一个最简单的例子,就可以看出他们直接的区别,给一个美国孩子和一个中国孩子看苹果的图片,美国孩子能脱口而出apple,而中国孩子呢?他脱口而出的是苹果,而不是apple, 是因为他先要在脑子里把图片转化成语言,再把母语转换成英语,用时明显要长于美国孩子,这就是直接教授法或者成为母语教授法最直接的区别。而美华少儿英语所使用的母语教学法,就是让孩子在完全浸入式纯英语的环境中,使用全英语进行对话和交流,从而培养孩子听、说、读、写的能力,培养纯正的语感和发音,让学生象掌握母语一样掌握英语的综合能力,让孩子成为英语的主人。

在浏览了这么多种英语教学法流派之后,我觉得这对我以后的教学会大有裨益,我将会一一细心领会与实践。其中社区式语言学习(community language learning)是我比较青睐的方法之一。该教学法认为承认学习外语时,特别是在自己努力学习而又遇到挫折时,常在精神上受到来自共同学习的同伴们在精神方面的压力,需要通过教师鼓励与协助妥善消除这些消极因素。因此,上课形式不是教师站在讲台上,而是师生围坐在一圈,教师与学生讨论问题十分平等,学生之间关系较融洽,使学生有安全感,自愿加强合作学习。课堂上大部分时间使用外语,但不排除使用本族语,以便让学生完全理解教学内容和练习的意义。这一方法调动了学生学习的积极性,并且对教师的要求很高。这样的教学方式与方法符合我自己的随和与活活泼开朗的性格,我比较喜欢和学生打成一片,我认为这样融洽的氛围有利于学生更好、更快、更容易地掌握知识并记得更牢。但是这种方法也有缺陷,如对教师的要求很高,片面理解师生平等关系,削弱教师的指导作用,则可能导致学生学不到应有的新知识,能力培养也会受到影响。我将在以后地教学中把这种教学方法付诸实践,并吸收其他教学法的长处,尽量克服其中的不足之处。

A Nowadays Xiao Shenyang is a well-known comedian in China.His real name is Shen He.He was born on May 7th, 1981.And he is from Tieling, Liaoning Province.
