九华山宗教活动历史悠久，道教最先在九华山发展，佛教更加兴盛。在唐开元年间，新罗国王子金乔觉航海东来，遍访名山，最后选在我们的九华山修行。夜间露宿在山上的山洞里，渴了就喝山上的山泉水，饿了就吃山上的野生植物。最后在他99岁的时候圆寂。佛教界认为他生前苦修，圆寂后与佛经里所记载的地藏菩萨相合，尊为地藏菩萨应化，因他在未出家的时候姓金，因此又称为金地藏。九华山也就自此被辟为地藏菩萨的道场。唐代后，九华山佛教声明渐著，经过历朝历代的修葺，到清代全山寺院已经有150多座了，祇园寺、东崖寺、百岁宫、甘露寺四大丛林，香火之盛甲天下。

下面我们首先进入的是九华街景区，首先看到的是一座石门坊。它是大理石雕刻而成，高9米，是仿清的徽派建筑。横额上镌刻着康熙皇帝御书的“九华胜境”四个大字。中门两柱南北下方雕有石狮。门仿端庄典雅，过了门坊大家看到的就是迎仙桥了，这座桥修建于乾隆年间，是一座单孔石拱桥，下面就请大家随我一起踏上这座古桥，一起步入仙境之中吧！

大家看，过了桥正面就是祇园寺的大殿。祇园寺是国家重点寺院，规模是九华山四大丛林里最大的了，由山门、天王殿、大雄宝殿、客堂、讲堂和藏经楼等十余座单体建筑组成，是典型的组合式建筑，它的山门偏离了大殿中轴线，大家知道这是为什么吗？因为啊，歪置山门是颇有讲究的，一来是为了辟邪，二来是门向朝着开山祖寺化城寺。大雄宝殿琉璃碧瓦，飞檐翘角，地位十分突出。在寺庙的前院墙上有一条石刻，上面“泰山石敢当”5个大字十分醒目，大家来猜猜这是做什么用的？其实这个是祇园寺独有的，是用来辟邪镇妖的。

进入山门，就是灵官殿，进门登殿，只见神龛里站立着的却是赤面红须、双目圆睁、高举铁鞭的王灵官。王灵官是道教的护法神，怎么到此护起佛法了呢？原来传说佛教的护法韦驮犯了“杀生”的错误，被地藏菩萨“解聘”，让王灵官顶了班，这反映了佛道“合作”的天王殿意思，在全国恐怕是仅此一处了。

从灵官殿过一小庭院，有一座亭阁式的方形重檐殿堂，歇山顶，内供四大天王像，称天王殿。中间龛内端坐着“笑口常开，大肚包容”的弥勒佛。“一钵千家饭，孤身万里行”，是他的两句偈语。两侧为四座天王塑像。

灵官殿和天王殿在同一台基上，而再高一层的台基上则筑有大雄宝殿。大雄宝殿内，正面立着高约12米的三世佛，座下是碧绿莲花座，下有须弥座（又叫金刚台），雕刻精细。供桌正面横刻着“唐僧取经”故事的大面浮雕。佛像前，为主持法会的和尚礼佛跑拜处。

好，游完祇园寺，我们现在来到的便是九华街的中心位置，大家看到的便是九华山开山祖寺化城寺了。佛经有”指地化城”之说。化城寺位于九华山化城峰西南，化城盆地中心，因此得名化城寺。化城寺历史悠久，它修建于晋代，也是九华山的主寺，寺的建筑依山势布局，反映了高超的建筑设计艺术。寺内有一口高一丈有余，重约2000斤的古钟，铸造精美，声音洪亮，用槌撞击，凝重清扬的钟声，在山谷回荡，往往使人有超凡脱俗之感。“化城晚钟”遂成为“九华十景”之一。

古寺历经兴废，在岁月长河中依然耸立。现存四进民居式殿宇，前三进为清代建筑：一进灵官殿，二进天王殿，三进大雄宝殿。

二、三进之间有一巨大四落水天井，意为”四水归明堂”。大雄宝殿全木窗门，门楣上刻有冰纹窗棂。顶中大藻井”九龙盘珠”浮雕为艺术珍品。四进藏经楼为九华山惟一明代建筑，近期按原貌修复。化城寺依地形渐次升高，结构严谨，古朴典雅，基本保存了开山祖寺原有风貌。

化城寺石阶下有宋代石狮一对，一雌一雄，古拙浑厚。前有放生池，月牙形，据传是金地藏率众徒修建化城寺时开挖的，既为寺院防火，又为僧侣和香客放生之用。池前是平整、开阔的化城广场，广场中有一用石条垒成的”娘娘塔”基，是纪念金地藏母亲的。据传金地藏母亲得知金地藏卓锡九华后，万里跋涉来山寻儿回归，长时间思儿心切，加之一路风霜，眼睛快要失明。金地藏用广场边一口井中泉水为母洗眼，治好了母亲眼疾，此井后人称”明眼泉”。金地藏用心侍候母亲，并向她细说佛教因缘，母被感悟，终于留山助儿护佛，后人在广场建塔纪念，称”娘娘塔”。但是，九华山也有人称”娘娘塔”是纪念金地藏出家前的妻子的。不论是母亲还是妻子，”娘娘塔”的传说都是美丽的。

摘 要

翻译要实现的目标是忠实的传达原文，实现“顺、迭、雅”。但在实际翻译工作中往往难以做到。其原因是在翻译过程中存在很多的障碍。文化障碍是最常见也是最忌简单处理的因素。由于自然社会环境、历史文化、风俗习惯等因素的影响，中日两国之间存在着相当的文化差异．在翻译过程中会出现各种各样的文化障碍。这也对双语之间的完全转换产生了制限。日汉各有其自身文化烙印与文化色彩，两者之间存在较大的文化差异。语言学习者要想正确理解并成功地进行日汉的互译，就必须首先对日汉两种文化有深刻的了解。文化对语言的影响是多方面的，日汉两种语言有着可译性和不可译性，同时这两种语言还受文化习俗和宗教信仰的影响。在翻译过程中，译者绝不可只考虑语言的转换，还应增强文化意识，要从跨文化交际的立场出发，采用适当的翻译方式，尽力消除跨文化交际中因文化差异而导致的交际障碍，达到准确介绍异国文化的目的。

1.引言

中日两国文化关系密切。自汉朝起,两国便开始了友好往来和文化交流。最初日本民族只有语言没有文字。后来从中国引进了文字,并逐步用汉字的结构制造了日本的假名, 于是形成了既有假名又有汉字的日语。因此, 一般人都认为中日语言同宗同源, 在翻译上不会有什么障碍。但在实际生活中并非如此。语言是一种文化现象, 不同民族的文化反映在不同民族的语言之中。生活在不同文化环境中的两个人在进行语言交流时,往往习惯于用本民族的文化心理去理解他民族的语言现象。这就难免出现彼此不大理解甚至误解或曲解而影响或破坏交际效果。在此,我们应总结出日汉互译中出现的一些不同,以此折射出一些中日文化差异。

翻译是运用一种语言把另一种语言所表达的思维内容，准确而完整地重新表达出来的语言活动。可以说，翻译是一门集创作性和科学性于一体的语言艺术，涉及到诸如语言学、社会学、跨文化交际学等多门类学科。翻译的目的在于利用两种语言相互转换进行思想和文化交流。由于语言和文化有着密切的联系，语言活动不仅仅表达了行为主体的思维内容，同时还反映了主体的价值取向、审美意识等等深层次的文化特征，因而，翻译便不再只是一种语言层面上的转换工作，而更是一种源语言与目的语言所生存的文化之间的传递行为了。在翻译过程中如果不顾及两种语言特征和两种文化差异，轻者很难再现所译语言所表达的思维内容和文化内涵，重者有时甚至会产生由于翻译的失误而导致的文化冲突。本文从分析中、日文化几个方面的差异着手，探析中文和日文翻译之间应该注意的问题和方法。

2 文化差异和翻译原则

中国和日本隔海相望，是一衣带水的邻邦，特殊的地理环境和悠久的历史往来，促进了两国之间的交流。日本人称：「中国は日本の文化の母国である」（中国是日本的文化母国），中国文化对日本文化影响至深，日本人的思想、情爱、伦理、道德乃至政治、经济、法律、教育等诸多方面，无不带有中国古文化的痕迹。但由于日本民族一方面善于追求新事物、新观念，喜好模仿，并能巧妙地将他种文化有机地调和吸收，变为己有、为己所用；另一方面又顽固地坚持自己固有的生活方式、宗教信仰、民族意识等，小心翼翼地提防着被外来文化所同化，排斥性地选择与本民族文化不相冲突的、并可完善自己的东西，执著地维护民族的自我意识的这样一种双重性格所致，中日文化又存在许多相异的方面。在翻译过程中，如何对待和处理两国间的文化差异，这在理论上和实践上都是一个不容忽视的重大课题。鉴于中日两国历史上和地理上的文化交流特点，翻译工作也应该求同存异，相互尊重，采取符合中、日民族语言习惯、文化特征的表达形式灵活处理。在涉及到文化方面的翻译时不能采取入乡随俗的办法，这种翻译无助于相互交流和相互理解，在很多情况下往往达不到翻译的目的，反而起到了阻碍的副作用。

2.1 生活环境的差异

中日文化上的差异，是由于各自的生活环境所形成的，不同的地域文化之间绝不能互相替代。水稻是日本人赖以生存的作物，自古以来日本人就对水稻及其相关的事物（ 如「米、飯、餅、畔、田、畑」等）带有一种特殊的感情。日语语言中有许多和水稻有关的表现方法。如：表现自私行为、一切为自己利益着想，称「我が田に水を引く」；形容事情棘手不好处理，称「餅を搗く」；形容各有所长，称「餅は餅屋」；形容吃不上饭、揭不开锅，称「飯の食い上げになる」；由于喜欢对方以致把任何东西都不假思索地送给对方，称「田もやろう畔もやろう」；表示殊途同归，称「田を行くも、畔も行くも」；形容有地位而无实权， 称「餅の形」； 福从天降， 称「開いた口へ餅」；锦上添花，称「餅に砂糖」；穷奢极侈，称「餅の皮むく」等等，都是稻米文化在生活中的巧妙应用。因此，在汉译这些词语时，应译出这种“稻”的异味。水稻在中国尤其南方广为栽培，但中国农作物品种繁多，因此水稻并没有形成单一的文化。反之，树木给人们提供了赖以生存的条件，它不但为中国人提供了诸多方便，而且极大地丰富了汉语语言词汇，形成了树木文化的语言特色。因此在日译时也不可不顾及中国文化的这种“树”味。如：用“樱唇、樱桃小嘴、杏眼、桃腮、柳眉、杨柳细腰”等来形容婀娜倩女。用“桑梓”或“梓里”比作故乡；以

“桃李”比作门生、弟子，以“枇杷门巷”暗示妓女居所⋯⋯。可以说不同的语言、不同的文化都有着各自的特色，单纯的语言翻译是无法完成传递文化信息这一任务的。雨水对于水稻栽培至关重要，但中国文化的重要发祥地黄河流域的降水量却并不很多，因此黄河流域主要以旱作植物为主。然而，在日本，由于是岛国，充足的雨量不仅带来丰富的植被，而且使得日本人对于雨有一种特殊的敏感。降雨已非单纯意义上的自然现象，它与日本那种独特的阴湿文化不无关系。日语中有许多描述雨的词汇。如「春雨」「小雨」「大雨」「凍り雨」「氷雨」「地雨」「俄雨」「夕立」「時雨」「五月雨」「豪雨」「白雨」「麦雨」「微雨」「梅雨」「土砂降り」「朝雨」「丑雨」「気違い雨」「霧雨」「小糠雨」「桜雨」「村雨」「漫ろ雨」「袖笠雨」「照り雨」「通り雨」「長雨」「涙雨」「横雨」等等不下一二百个，不同的季节，同一季节的不同时间，一天里的不同时辰，说法各有不同。对于雨的精细描写，是日本人阴翳礼赞的重要表现，也是我们翻译中很难准确完成的棘手之处。

2.2 生活方式的不同

人们的生活方式主要通过衣、食、住、行等方面来体现，生活方式的不同在各自的文化上均会得到充分的显现。中日文化的差异最明显的还是体现在饮食文化之中，这是不同的历史过程所形成的不同的民族意识，进而产生了不同的文化意象。中国具有五千多年的文化史，在这悠悠的历史长河之中，封建主义起着主导作用，封建士大夫阶级有权有势，在生活上为所欲为，穷奢极侈，变换着吃法，随之也就产生了众多吃的学问。平民百姓生活艰辛，鱼肉荤腥是很难享用的了，不过在士大夫阶级吃的学问的影响下，一旦弄到点儿鱼肉什么的，也不甘粗制滥造，总是想方设法精心烹饪一番，当一饱口福之后，在精神上也能获取某种安慰。反观日本，有文字记载的只有两千多年的文化史，其封建阶级的势力，远不及中国的雄厚，且日本地域狭窄、物产不丰、尤其是明治维新以来，接受欧美文化较快，统治者的目光重点放在对外扩张、经济发展上，因此也就很少顾及吃的了。在日语语言当中，有关烹饪手段的词汇，寥寥无几，只不过是「煮る」（熬、煮、烹、炖）、「焼く」（烧、烤、焙）、「炒める」（炒、煎）「茹でる」（煮、熬）、「煎る」（煎）、「揚げる」（炸）等有限的几个。而中国的烹饪手段，可以说是丰之又丰、繁之又繁。仅从一个字的动词来数就有“炸、爆、溜、馏、扒、烧、焙、炒、炖、烹、熬、煮、焖、烩、烙、蒸、烤、炝、熏”等不下几十种。日译这些专业术语时，很难找到恰当的词语与之对应，作到等值翻译，也只能是作些相应的解释。如：焖／ふたをしっかりしてとろ火で煮る；炖／食品をとろ火でゆっくり煮る；炸／油で揚げる；炒／油でいためる；烹／油でいためてから液体の調味料をかける；馏／暖めなおす；溜／油で揚げ上にあんをかける⋯⋯。有些菜肴名称日

译时还简单，如：“烤鸭”可以译作「アヒルの丸焼き」或干脆直译为「コーヤーズ」。然而，有些菜肴的名称翻译起来却不那么简单。如：“熬白菜”译作「白菜を汁をたっぷりにして煮る」；“溜肉片”译作「肉の揚げたものをあんかけした料理」。有些菜肴名称译来更为繁杂。如，“烙饼”译作「麦粉を水にといて鉄鍋やほうろくに油を引いて焼いた粉食品」；“爆肚儿”译作「羊の胃をごく短時間熱湯に入れて弾力性を有する程度に軟らかにした料理」⋯ ⋯ 。这种情况反观日本亦然。例如，中文的“卡拉O K ”一词源于日本，它的原身是「空オケ」或写作「カラオケ」，其“空”表示“没有、无人”等意思，“オケ”是__外来语“オーケストラ”的简略说法，意为“管弦乐团”，也就是“没有人的伴奏乐队”。后来这种自娱自乐的唱歌形式风靡世界， 中文勉为其难地翻译成“ 卡拉O K ”，也是没有办法的办法了。这种情况还有很多， 如，「スナック」、「パチンコ」等等。

2.3 审美意识的差异

审美意识是民族文化中最深层、最核心的部分，它是在长期的历史过程中一点一点积淀而成。中日两国由于各自的发展历程、地理环境等的不同，两国的审美意识也表现出不同的价值取向。中国人自古以来就崇尚“龙”和“凤”，这尽管是传说中的神异动物，但在中国人的心中，“龙凤呈祥”的观念是根深蒂固的。封建皇宫，碑坊梁柱多饰以“龙、凤”以求祥瑞、颐和，欢乐庆典，男婚女嫁也多以“龙、凤”谕示吉祥、和睦。至于语言中的“龙、凤”更是比比皆是。如：“龙飞凤舞、龙肝风髓、龙眉凤目、龙意凤姿、龙跃凤鸣、龙幡凤色、丹凤朝阳、有凤来仪、龙马精神、龙蛇飞动、龙腾虎跃、龙骧虎步”等均系褒义词。还有形容地势之险峻、精神之壮烈，诸如：“龙盘虎踞、龙潭虎穴、龙战虎争、龙争虎斗”等说法也屡见不鲜。由于崇尚“龙、凤”，中国人的姓名中不乏“ 龙、凤” 二字。尽管中国文化对日本影响尤深，但这种传统的“龙、凤”观念，日本人所知甚少，更谈不上崇尚“龙、凤”的文化意识了。反之，日本人对“狗（犬）、猪、龟”等中国人颇为贬斥的动物却抱有好感，以“犬、猪、龟”作为姓氏的也大有人在。如「犬川、犬丸、犬上、犬井、犬石、犬江、犬島、犬宮⋯」「猪川、猪山、猪口、猪井、猪内、猪本、猪坂」

3．日汉翻译中文化障碍的主要表现

由于历史、社会、地域、风俗习惯等的不同，中国人和日本人往往对同一事物的思维、理解、看法和说法都不尽相同，甚至有很大的差异．这种文化差异的表现形式多种多样，就形成了各种形式的文化障碍。而这些文化障碍体现在不同的文化信息符号里，文化信息符号是一个庞大的象征系统。这些符号被称作“非规约性符号”，因为它的内涵随文化形态的不同而发生改变。可以说文化障碍是由“象征”的“非规约性”造成的。

1．1语言中的民族意识化符号障碍语言中的民族意识化符号指反映该民族一切观念形态的语言信息符号。它间接地反映该文化的观念形式。中国人自古以来就崇尚“龙”和“凤”，在中国人的心目中，“龙凤呈祥”的观念是根深蒂固的。尽管中国文化对日本影响很深，但这种“龙、风”的传统观念，日本人所知甚少，跟谈不L崇尚“龙、风”的文化意识了。相反，日本人对中国人大加贬斥的动物，如“狗、猪、龟”等却抱有好感。日本人认为“狗”忠诚，“猪”健壮，“龟”长寿。中国人则认为“狗”下贱、讨厌，“猪”污秽、懒惰，“龟”鄙俗、欠雅。

1．2语言中的民族声像化符号障碍 语言音位系统和文字系统属于民族声像化符号，包括比喻词、以听觉、视觉为感应媒介的声、像、色描写性词语、成语、谚语、俗语等。例如：汉语中有“绿帽子”之说，不了解中华民族文化的日本人很难理解它的深层含义，往往会把它当作一种时尚装束，不点明“夫 妻老寝E岛扎为”则无从知晓。此外，汉语中的“红运”、“一只碗不响．两只碗响叮当”．IFt语中的拟声词、拟态词都是具有很强象征性的民族声像化符号。

1．3语言中的民族社会化符号障碍 民族社会化符号包括反映民族习俗风情以及人际关系的社会阶级及群落的惯用称呼、服饰、体语、行为特征、活动形式的词语。如中国人在饭桌上请客人吃饭时通常说：“请吃吧!”“请吃饭!”“请吃菜!”。这几种说法之问没有本质上的区别，不管客人的身份多么高贵或多么低微，与主人的地位悬殊差别如何明显，主人一般都这么说。偶尔还会说：“伸筷子!”，多用于关系亲密者之间，且比较随便的场合。但是把汉语的这类客套话译成日语，就有几种区别比较明显的说法。日本人请客人吃饭时根据客人身份=地位及场合的不同，有不同的说法。如：“ j 扫上

1．4语言中的民族地域化符号障碍 反映某一民族的自然地理、生态环境、气候条件与特征、山川I、市镇称号等文化内涵的词语都属于该语言中的民族地域化符号。例如由

于两国所处的自然地理的不同甲、亀次、亀沢、亀谷⋯」，据日本全国姓氏网统计，带“犬”字的姓氏有7 4 个，带“龟”“猪”的姓氏各有1 0 0 之多，可见日本人对它们的喜好。究其原因，除了日本民族对动物怀有一种亲切感之外，主要还是长期形成的文化习俗所造成的文化现象。日本人认为“ 狗” 忠诚，“ 猪” 健壮，“龟”长寿⋯⋯。对于人生，这些正是梦寐以求的品质。中国人则一般认为“狗”下贱、讨厌，“猪”污秽、懒惰，“龟”鄙俗、欠雅⋯⋯。尽管“狗、猪、龟”对人类贡献很大，但人们仍然对它们不怀好感。这也是中国的文化现象。由于中国人对它们的偏见，因此产生了许多的贬义词。仅以“狗”为了例，就有诸如“狗急跳墙、狗盗鸡鸣、狗盗鼠窃、狗颠屁股、狗肺狼心、狗苟蝇营、狗尾续貂、狗彘不若、狗马声色”以及“狗嘴里吐不出象牙，狗拿耗子多管闲事，狗咬吕洞宾不识好人心”等说法。可以说每一个词都有深层的文化意义，翻译它们时，要在日语中寻求等值词汇谈何容易。在翻译成日语时不应该把“龙”的地方都改成日本人颇感愉悦的形象，以求得等值的功效。同样，在翻译成中文时也没有必要把出现“狗”的地方都转换成中国人听起来产生好感的别种动物。在文化交流过程中，人们借助于“存异”的原则，对他种文化所获得的理解，应是更加真实、更加深刻的理解，因而也更加自觉。

4.结语

中国和日本无论是在语言上还是在文化上都有着千丝万缕的联系，但同时又是语言和文化都不相同的两个实体，相同相异，相互融合在一起，中日文化不是等效的。正因为如此，把一种异质文化通过翻译进入到另一种文化领域，这中间不可能没有差距。在文化翻译中，“求同”不易，“存异”也难，往往是“同”中有“异”，“异”中有“同”，有时还要在两者之间作出某种合理的“折中”。译事之难，莫过如此。

日汉各有其自身文化烙印与文化色彩，两者之间存在较大的文化差异。从以上几个方面我们可以看出，文化对语言的影响是深远而广泛的。语言学习者要想正确理解日汉语言并成功地进行日汉语言的互译，就必须首先对日汉两种文化有深刻的了解。文化对语言的影响是多方面的，虽然语言翻译特别是那些含有丰富文化信息的日汉互译译并没有固定的模式，到底该采用何种方法应根据上下文灵活选择。此外，在翻译过程中，译者绝不可只考虑语言的转换，还应增强文化意识，要从跨文化交际的立场出发，采用适当的翻译方式，尽力消除跨文化交际中因文化差异而导致的交际障碍，达到准确介绍异国文化的目的。

happine ,while in other place it was the symbol of humanity and

基督山伯爵的目标首先是费尔南。费尔南为了谋取一切之私利可以说是坏事做尽，此时他更名换姓，过着养尊处优的生活。基督山伯爵早就摸清了他的底细，伯爵借他人之手在报纸上披露了费尔南20年代在希腊出卖和杀害了阿里总督的事实，引起了议员们的质询。在听证会上，基督山伯爵收养的阿里总督的女儿海黛出席作证，揭发了费尔南在与土耳其人的无耻的交易的中，不但把城堡拱手相让，而且把他的恩主杀害，并把恩主的妻子、女儿作为一部分战利品，卖得40万法郎的罪行。审查委员会断定费尔南犯了判逆罪和暴行迫害罪，这使得费尔南名誉扫地，狼狈不堪。费尔南本来寄希望于儿子阿尔贝，希望他能够同基督山伯爵决斗，以此雪“耻”，但他的妻子（唐泰斯的未婚妻梅尔塞苔丝）早就认出了基督山伯爵就是唐泰斯，她把真相告诉了阿尔贝。最后阿尔贝不顾自己的名声，与基督山伯爵讲和，并决定同母亲一起抛弃沾满了鲜血的家产，不辞而别。无奈之下，费尔南只有自己去找基督山伯爵决斗。决斗时，基督山伯爵用很冷淡的口吻嘲讽地说：“您不就是那个在滑铁卢之战前夕开小差逃走的小兵费尔南吗？您不就是那个在西班牙当法军向导和间谍的费尔南中尉吗？您不就是那个背叛、出卖并谋害自己恩主的费尔南中将吗？而这些个费尔南加起来，不就是现在身为法国贵族议员的您吗？”最后，基督山伯爵说出了自己的真实身份。费尔南失魂落魄地回到家里，正遇上自己的妻子和儿子离家出走，一个去乡下隐居，一个去投军，极度害怕与绝望使得他开枪自杀了。[2]

《The Old Man and the Sea》 is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true claics of this generation.It played a great part in his winning the Pulitzer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world.Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers.Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanjaro.But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impreion on me.

Once Edward took Bella to his home to meet his family members, instead of being afraid, Bella asked Edward what if his families didn’t like her.Edward was so surprise to hear that and said to Bella, “you are worried not because you’ll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won’t approve of you?” Then, I know, Bella has never treated Edward as a different kind.May I ask, how can Edward refuse such a kind and lovely girl.When Edward took Bella to fly through the forest in his amazing speed, I think no more girls can refuse such a romantic man.

Bella pursued the trust love belong to her bravely, while Edward was giving all his love to the one he loved.I know this is love.

All in all, romantic love always has a happy ending.When Bella went through life and death, when Edward experienced the cruel ordeal, seeing they were dancing romantically at last, I can say their love will be going on.

Book report on A Farewell to Arms

A Farewell to Arms was written by Earnest Miller Hemingway (July21, 1899—July2, 1962), who was an American writer and journalist.He was part of the 1920s expatriate community in Paris, and one of the veterans of World War one later known as “the lost generation”.He received the Pulitzer Price in 1953 for The Old Man and the Sea in literature in 1954.

During his lifetime, Hemingway wrote many famous books such as Three stories and Ten Poems (1923), The Sun Also Rises (1926), A Farewell to Arms (1929), For Whom the Bell Tolls (1940), The Old Man and the Sea (1953).Most of the protagonists in his novels are typically social men who exhibit an ideal described as “grace under preure”.And many of his works are now considered claics of American literature.Earnest Hemingway’s 1929 novel, A Farewell to Arms, is often regarded as his best artistic achievement with 80,000 copies sold within the first four months.The novel is set in World War one, but it should be claified as a historical romance instead of a war novel.The love story circles around two people, Frederic Henry and Catherine Barkley.Frederic is a young American ambulance driver who volunteers for service with the Italian army in World War one.During his service, he falls in love with Catherine, who is a beautiful English nurse.At first, their relationship is just a game based on their respective purposes.However, later in the story, Frederic is wounded and sent to the American hospital where Catherine works.It is in that hospital that Frederic realizes his feelings for Catherine have become extremely evident.So their relationship further develops and they begin a paionate love affair.During a maive retreat from the Austrians and Germans, Frederic is forced to shoot an engineer and therefore falls into a dilemma.Tired of war, he decides to escape with Catherine and seclude from the annoying world.Having succefully escaped to Switzerland, they live in peace and harmony until the tragic end of Catherine’s pregnancy, during which both she and the child died.To Frederic, Catherine’s dead body is like a stature; he walks back to his hotel without figuring out a way to say goodbye, seemingly lost forever.

In A Farewell to Arms, one of the themes of Frederic Henry’s adventure as an ambulance driver during World War one is identity.Identity is important to the story in that it exprees the general question of the individual in the postwar world.People began doubting the values that war brought about.In order to escape from war, people tend to find different substitutes for relieving themselves, and love is one of them.However, the love tragedy between Frederic and Catherine proves that war is nothing more than the dark, murderous extension of a world that refuses to acknowledge, protect or preserve true love.

scarlett , a very personality figures ，the two mans she love ,neither does she know about.to her, i was compelled to admire, admire her strong and brave, admire her to lay down in the environment, farm workers previously suffered education, admire her to disregard the community to create their own expreion of the cause .she is in the whole story, all a person full of fighting will full of vitality .i appreciated most , it is this \" tomorrow is another day of hers.\" .promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate.i think im moved by her.so, whenever i meet difficulty, the mood is not good, i will tell oneself : \" tomorrow is another day.\" gone with the wind is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on u.s.a.s civil war is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.

despite i’ve not in my childhood yet, i still prefer reading fairy-tale stories.the tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children.this summer i’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940.it’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the french author, antoine de st-exupery, the little prince.

as many other fairy-tales, the outline of the little prince is not very complex.“i”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the sahara.in this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the asteroid b612.the little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet.in that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

on his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a busineman, a lamplighter and a geographer.from these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the sahara, on the earth.

Thomas Wolfe said: “the way to realize your homeland is to leave it; the way to research for your homeland is to find it in your heart , in your brain ,in your remember ,in your psyche and in a strange land.”This is what Xiong Peiyun did in his book .The book was like a piece of college paper.Xiong Peiyun set out from his homeland —Xiao Bao village .He carded unsucceful changes took placed in Xiao Bao village since a century ago .For example ,the two ancient trees ,one was traded ,the other ,a jujube ,was fell by his family .“ the shocking slaughter in Bu Shui temple ” faded away with time going by.Actually , stories in this book played a role as a prologue，more space was used to card and analysis this phenomenon.The author described happine and misfortune in the village to reflect the development of modern China.This special visual angle accomplished a succeful masterpiece .

Stories happened in Xiao Bao village are similar to those in other villages.Changes happened every year , some changes were hard to avoid ,some were upsetting ,and some brought hope to us.Village was a small part compared with the great history.It is the meaning of changes happened or happening that counts.The

author said :\"farmers harvest grain ,and country harvest farmers.” in China ,our society are divided into two parts : cities and villages, policies are different from citizens to farmers.As a result , farmers suffered unfair treatment for a long time.This is an intensive topic—constructing new villages.Develop villages is a preing matter of the moment in China.Without the development of

villages , the prosperity of China is a daydream.According to the book ,the author speaks for farmers.But some reviewers criticize the auther hasn\'t deeply analyzed , Xiong Peiyun didn\'t talked about how to solve these problems.I can\'t agree with them.Xiong Peiyun is an author rather than a village head or a politician after all.I just hope this book will influence a generation of authors ,taking their eyesight to extensive villages ,turning it to the humblest people in our society.This is what an author can do.

Now ,it is time for us to think about what we should do in the developments of villages.As a student ,we may not have much money to donate or change the policies ,but we have knowledge and sincere hearts.We may as well do some educational

supporting in holidays especially in teaching English.Most poor villages don\'t have English teacher ,but English is a gate for them to communicate with others confidently.For those students growing up in villages ,starting an undertaking in their ancestral villages is a

wise decision.Nowadays ,sowing and harvesting are still the most important mode of work ,which are exhausting and profitle.That is what rural enterprise covers.For recently graduated students , starting an undertaking in villages is low cost than that in cities.Of course , it must obey the principle of voluntary ,the\" Shang Shan Xia Xiang\" movement in the Great Proletarian Culture Revolution is a wrong reformation.
