仙境奇遇

《儿童英语故事教学法新探》课题简介

《儿童英语故事教学法新探》是全国基础教育外语教学研究资助金项目。课题于1999年6月申报，1999年11月立项。

一、指导思想

2l世纪将是国际竞争更加激烈的世纪，各国相互竞争的特点是“在竞争中交际，在交际中竞争”。李岚清副总理在一次英语教学座谈会上指出，我国目前外语教学水平、教学方法普遍存在“费时较多，收效较低”的问题。指出了我国目前各级教育部门对外语教学虽然一直重视，但教学效果不理想，还不能适应国家经济和社会发展，特别是改革开放和扩大对外交往的需要。因此应当重视外语教学方法的研究和改进工作。

小学生学习英语有其优势，他们活泼好动，模仿能力强，对任何新事物都具有好奇心，但缺乏自觉性。刚一开始学习英语他们都会喜欢，一旦学习要求提高，他们觉得英语学习枯燥无味，难学，缺乏学习动力，会使英语学习成为负担。进行儿童英语教学法研究旨在改进教学方法，充分调动学生的学习积极性，提高学习效率，减轻学习负担，改变“费时低效”的状况，让学生在小学阶段掌握更多的外语知识。

二、理论依据

心理学研究表明，小学生爱听故事，爱讲故事，喜欢表演故事。本实验采用纪玉华教授和许其潮教授编写的双语教材《大胡子伯伯讲故事教英语》。该教材采用三文治故事教学法，妙用童话，紧扣童心，让儿童在听故事，讲故事中学习英语，以故事人物、情节、悬念为支柱，充分调动学生的形象思维与创造性联想活动，使英语学习由难变易，由死变活，由苦变乐，这一学习方法把英语词句安插在生动的故事里，成为小学生听故事时感受最强、印象最深的部分，从而产生最佳的记忆效果。该教材所讲的故事都具有哲理内容和道德寓意，使英语教学与真善美教育统一起来，融英语教学和素质教育于一炉，大大提高了小学生学习英语的价值层次，这将为国外的“发展性教学法”，“故事教学法”和“交际教学法”理论与中国儿童英语教育实践相结合并发展新的教学理论提供成功的范例。

三、实验目标

采用配套的三文治教材，探索故事教学法的课堂教学模式，教学技巧和测试评价方法。让学生通过故事教学法大量增加词汇量，大面积提高学习水平，并运用讲故事，理解故事，在思想情感和道德品质方面受到潜移默化的熏陶。让学生的能力、智力和个性得到健康和谐的发展。

四、实验方法

1、采用纪玉华、许其潮编写的三文治双语教材《大胡子伯伯讲故事教英语》和全英教材《儿童成长英语》。

2、通过实践探索使用适合小学生年龄特点的故事教学法，教学中词不离句，句不离篇，篇不离兴趣。教学技巧采用动作程式化，发音夸张化，故事表演化。

3、检测教学效果采用课后测试、阶段性测试、最后测试及问卷调查、结构化观察等测试方法。

五、实验对象

第一学期一年级新生。

六、实验步骤

准备阶段：(2000年4月--2000年9月)

1、研究制定实验方案。

2、选定实验班级，选定实验老师。

3、培训教师，明确实验目的、要求和具体做法。

实施阶段：(2000年9月--2006年1月)

l、在教学实践中进行课例研讨，并请专家指导，评议，探讨最佳故事教学方法、教学技巧和课堂教学模式。

2、组织实验小组成员外出学习、交流。

3、做好每学期的教学测评及问卷调查、观察等研究，做好记录。

4、撰写有关的教学小结及教学论文。总结阶段：(2006年3月——2006年7月)

课题组写出实验报告。

七、预期研究成果

爱迪生是世界有名的”发明大王”。但是,他在小学时学习成绩很差,只读了3个月就退学了。由于他学习成绩太差,还偏偏喜欢打破沙锅问到底，经常问得老师张嘴结舌，老师非常恼怒，常常当众说他是：“傻瓜”。爱迪生受不了这样的侮辱，眼泪汪汪地回到家中向妈妈诉说自己的委屈，并表示再也不进学校的大门了。当过教员的妈妈同情儿子的处境，给爱迪生退了学。回到家，妈妈严肃地对爱迪生说，从今以后，我教你读书，你有没有决心学好。妈妈的话深深地打动了爱迪生的心，他以少有的严肃神情，回答说：“妈妈，您放心，我一定好好读书，长大了要在世界上做一番事业。”这就是少年爱迪生最早立下的志向。他一生有约２０００项发明，像留声机、电灯、电影、蓄电池等等。爱迪生从一个穷苦的、没有受过正规学校教育的孩子，成长为首人尊敬的发明家，再世界科学发展史上，它的名字永远闪耀这光辉。

４、落榜秀才愤作《聊斋志异》

大家都知道《聊斋》的故事，这部被称为中国短篇小说之冠的小说集，是中国文学宝库中的瑰宝。红学家李希凡教授是这样评价它的：《聊斋》、《红楼》，一短一长，千古流长，万事流芳。可又有谁知道这样一位杰出的文学家蒲松龄竟然也是一位考场上的多次落榜者。蒲松龄在19岁那年，以优异的成绩连续3次考场夺冠成为秀才，从20岁开始，每逢科举考试，他都去参加，但命运好象故意在捉弄他，一直考到老，始终没有能中举，可称得上“落榜冠军了”。但我要讲的是蒲松龄很有志气，他失败后，并不气馁、并不自卑，他坚信自己一定能有所作为。他一边当教师，一边坚持刻苦自学，发扬了“头悬梁、锥刺骨”的苦读精神。工夫不负有心人，他终于写出了轰动中国文坛的短篇小说集《聊斋志异》，成为一个成功的落榜者。

5、篮球明星迈克尔.乔丹的故事

美国是个酷爱篮球的国家，这个国家里有个视篮球如生命的孩子。可是就是这个孩子，中学时居然没有被篮球队选上。可他没有就此放弃对篮球的热爱与追求。

后来，他的软磨硬缠迫使教练让他当了一个上不了球场的“球员”——专为球员捡球、搬运行李和整理球衣。自信的力量就这样使他接近了目标。多年以后，他率领的芝加哥公牛队连续多年高居nba皇冠宝座，他个人也获得了“空中飞人”的美誉。 他便是饮誉世界篮坛的.迈克尔乔丹。

6、数学家华罗庚的故事

华罗庚中学毕业后，因交不起学费被迫失学。回到家乡，一面帮父亲干活，一面继续王强的读书自学。不久，有身染伤寒，病势垂危。他在床上躺了半年，并痊愈后，却留下了终身的残疾——左腿的关节变形，瘸了。当时，他只有19岁，在哪儿迷茫困惑。近似绝望的日子里，他想起了失去双腿后著兵法的孙膑。“古人尚能身残志坚，我才只有19岁，更没有理由自暴自弃，我要用健全的头脑，代替不健全的双腿！“青年华罗庚就是这样顽强地和命运抗争。白天，他托着病腿,忍着关节剧烈的疼痛,拄着拐杖一颤一颤地干活,晚上，他油灯下自学到深夜。1930年，他的论文惊动了清华大学数学系主任熊庆教授。以后，清华大学聘请华罗庚当了助理员。在名家云集的清华园，华罗庚一边做助理的工作，一边在数学系旁听，还用4年时间自学了英文、德文、法文，发表了10篇论文。他25岁时，已是蜚声国际的青年学者了。

7、“为中华之崛起而读书”

周恩来从小志高，12岁就发出“为中华之崛起而读书”的誓言。

1911年年底，周恩来在沈阳关东模范学校上学。这一天，位校长亲自为学生上修身课，题目是“立命”。当时正是中国社会发生剧烈变动的时期。孙中山领导的辛亥革命刚刚推翻了清朝政府，结束了中国两千年的封建统治。很多人，特别是年轻人思想困惑，没有明确的理想追求，没有人生奋斗的目标。校长讲“立命”，就是给学生将怎样立志。 位校长讲到精彩处突然停顿下来，向学生提出一个问题：“请问为什么读书？” 周恩来站起身来，教师里静悄悄的，大家都在等待他的回答。周恩来非常郑重地回答道“为中华之崛起而读书！”

“为中华之崛起而读书！”回答得多好啊！一句话表达了周恩来从小立志振兴中华的伟大志向。

8、陈景润

歌德巴赫猜想一直被看作数学王冠上的明珠。200多年前，有不少科学家试图征服它，并因此耗费了巨大精力，却都没有成功。有位中国少年上中学时就暗暗立志摘取这颗明珠，他把它当作自己的事业和理想，他拼命积累知识，奋力演算难题，草稿纸装了一麻袋又一麻袋，最后终于用自己的智慧和理想的合力，摘取了数学王冠上的这一颗璀璨的明珠，发明了以它的姓氏命名的定理。这位少年是谁？陈景润。

9、积累资料的作用： 爱因斯坦博学多才，在美国时有人问他：“从纽约到芝加哥有多远？”他从容地答道：“请查《铁路指南》。”又有人问他：“不锈钢是用什么制成的？”他回答说：“查一下《冶金手册》就行了。”爱因斯坦在这里使用的是知识外储法。在学习、工作及日常生活中，能够用得到但又没有必要全部记在头脑里的东西，可以实行外储。

唐代诗人白居易为积累写作材料，编撰了一部类书，叫《白氏六帖》，简称《白帖》。 明代医药学家李时珍，为修《本草纲目》，翻阅的历史文献达800多种，手抄笔录的材料达1000万字。

The International Children\'s Day (ICD) is celebrated in numerous countries, usually (but not always) on June 1 each year.

The ICD had its origin in the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925.It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the ICD: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year, and also coincided with the conference in Geneva.

经过评委的仔细斟酌，评选出一等奖一名，二等奖两名，三等奖三名。护理部刘丽丽获得三等奖。

第16篇：儿童英语学习

两年前的这个时候，因为工作关系，我被外派到国外工作。

女儿在出国前，在北京孙瑞雪幼儿园上学。这个幼儿园基本上不鼓励孩子在学龄前过早学习课本知识，虽然后来设置了预科班，但学习的内容和一般的公立幼儿园比起来，就如同九牛一毛，实在太少的可怜了。

可以这么讲，我女儿在幼儿园阶段没有上过什么三一英语，在家里我也没有单独教过孩子学英语。我女儿是英文大字不识就跟我出了国。

女儿来到国外时，还不满6岁，所以先进入幼儿园kindergarten。上学的前几天，我给孩子打预防针，提前教了几个单词：

上厕所就说“toilet”或者“Peepee和Poopoo” 喝水就告诉老师“water”

见到老师同学打招呼说“hello”

指着自己告诉老师同学“Annie”，意思是我的名字是Annie。

因为可以自己带饭，所以，为了避免在学校餐厅买饭交流的麻烦，我选择了给孩子带饭上学。

第一天上学回来，正赶上部门同事为欢迎我聚餐，孩子在大家聚餐的时候为一点小事没头没脑哭了2个小时，现在想来，女儿当时太小，两周后上学，已经过了刚到国外的新鲜劲，又不知道怎么表达自己忽然移居国外的冲击和无力，语言不通，没有朋友，陌生环境下的孤独等等，所以痛哭一场宣泄了出来。

我开始重视孩子在家庭的英语学习补课。

每日精听精读学习，我给孩子选的是《迪斯尼神奇英语》，好像一共22个小视频。把它们拷贝到一个MP4上，孩子自己带着，每天随时看。我带她每天一起看，一起念，从最开始的打招呼，到最后的简单对话，一天至少学一个，第二天先复习，再学新的。因为这个学习视频里面有歌有动画，女儿挺喜欢，所以每天也不烦。 每日阅读内容，是从孩子从班级拿回来的英文系列初级读物，我在国内也见过类似的英语阶梯读物。大大的彩页，里面只有一个单词或和单词有关的简单句子，但有连续的情节。我和她一起指读，她先读，不会的我告诉她，然后她再读。每天吃完晚饭后的一到两个小时都要围绕着这两项进行。每个周末，还可以看两个迪斯尼动画大片作为调剂。

效果还不错，一周后，孩子在学校已经敢开口讲话了。女儿每天回家都会问我一些问题，“我要是表达这个意思该怎么说？想做那个该怎么说？”有了被迫push要表达的动力，孩子就踏上了学英语的第一步。这个第一步，是有需求有使用所以才有学习的动力。

女儿的学校的教学日历是早就排好的，没有特殊情况一般没有变化。

主要的课程设置是：体育课，图书课，艺术课，外语课和音乐课。体育课差不多一周三次，图书课差不多一周两次，艺术课差不多一周两次，外语课音乐课也差不多一周两次。这些课程都不是在自己的班里上课，而是到固定教室去上课。英语和数学课并没有排到课程表里，但是每天都有，在自己班里由班主任授课。课程时间比较长，每节课90分钟。

女儿在半年后基本上过了语言关，但是书写和阅读都比较落后。 女儿在一年级的英语课上，老师已经开始教她们写诗。

因为女儿的理解还跟不上，老师建议家长陪读一起上，所以我有幸陪读了几次。我印象比较深的是关于一首风的诗。

老师先把那首很优美的小诗投在电子白板上，带大家读一遍。然后开始逐句分析，会给大家提问，如果大家感受到风的时候，会怎样画下来？然后就有小同学举手，在电子白板上画出来，根据诗的含义把大家理解和感受到的画面都画出来。然后再用一个自己想出来的句子描述出来，再和原诗做对比。

在一年级下学期，每周女儿都有一节课和诗有关，每周需要背诵她们学过的这首诗，家长需要签字。 另外她们在课堂上也要模仿学的诗用自己的语言写一首诗。

这是我女儿模仿写的第一首诗：

People bilding(错字，应该是building) citys (也是错字，但知道是表达复数） Mother nature protect Oh, Through the land Through the sea...she want us to help!

我女儿的诗细看会有拼写和语法错误。

我想表达的是，国外的英语学习，一样需要背课文，虽然没有指定的教材，但是老师会按照提纲找一些好的题材和同学们一起发挥。我女儿对每星期的背诗深恶痛绝，通常这些诗里面会有很多生词，都不知道怎么念，老师上课讲完了下课很快就忘了，所以周五发下来poem book时总是拉着我一起查里面的单词，她们也学写诗的韵脚，有些诗格外绕口，却不得不背，因为背过了才能家长签字（这和国内是不是一样呢？）

我感触比较深的是，我女儿的英语学习是学完了马上就要模仿，而且老师鼓励孩子们自己写，写完了配上自己画的画，所以学期末看到孩子们自己制作的诗歌本，里面十几首自己创作的小诗和自己画的插画，就像一本漂亮的图画书。应该说，用这样的方式，才锻炼了孩子的写作和文字的应用。

补充，我女儿每周还有一次到两次的计算机课。她们的计算机课每次老师会定一个主题，不能跑了这个主题，围绕这个主题，自己在校内网上自由检索，围绕主题自由写作拷贝，反正就是有一个类似报告的东西，有图片有文字，什么形式都可以，只要写了就可以，长短不限，自由发挥，最后老师打印订成册子在学期末发到家长的手中。如果课堂上有剩余的时间就是在校内网上互发email，或者上校内网上的网站查阅有趣的资料，听音乐，看视频，打游戏，老师是不管的。她在学校已经打过游戏了，在家里好像兴趣并不大。除了上课之外，计算机房对同学们是自由开放的，家长也可以进，同时教室里也有两台连着校内网的电脑，经常在课间有小同学堆在电脑前忙活，我女儿在家也很喜欢自己google，或者百度自己需要查找的东西，这种不懂就可以查的自由方式其实鼓励了很多喜欢自学的孩子，也锻炼了独立学习的能力。

接着谈英语学习。我记得我们上大学的时候，英语课本分为精读，泛读。这种学习其实和现在中文学习没什么区别，上课有课本，课下就靠自己的自觉了，阅读量大的孩子就相当于进行了海量的泛读。

不知道现在国内还有多少家长孩子每天会在生活学习之余看书？走在外面，经常看到很多欧美人士坐车，等车，甚至晒日光浴拿着书在看书，不是ipad，是真正的纸介质的书。我在国内还算是经常买书看书的人，但和这些包里随时放着一两本书，随时拿出来读的人比起来，还是觉得自己很惭愧。

这种阅读的习惯都是从小就培养出来的。我女儿学校有专门的图书课。这门课程是在学校的图书馆里进行。基本内容就是，在这90分钟内，在图书馆里自己找书，自由阅读，看什么都可以。每周可以在图书馆借3本书。每天放学，我女儿书包里都会有一本从班级图书馆按照阅读能力分类，适合我女儿的阅读书，我女儿每天需要为自己的阅读做记录，写在她的阅读记录本里，还有一张纸，需要写下来人物，时间，地点，情节，和自己最喜欢的部分等等。

家长可以从学校图书馆每两周借10本书，所以我女儿实际的英文阅读量是，班级5本，自借3本，我借10本，差不多一个月，能读50本书。学校每个学期有两次图书交换日，可以交换自己的私人藏书，用自己不看的书换自己喜欢的书，数量不限。

阅读带来了我女儿词汇的增长，和文字理解能力的提高。

另外为了提高她的书写能力，我曾经要求她把每天带回家的班级图书都抄写一遍，到了一年级下学期后，逐渐文字量增加，抄写要花费很长时间，后来就停掉了。不过我认为这种抄写训练，对我女儿的书写，写作都帮助很大。

她现在才小学二年级，已经开始自己写英文故事了，图文并茂，我一个打眼过去，居然好多还看不懂（不能像看中文一样，看一眼就知道写的是什么）。

我的感触是，英文阅读太重要了，和中文阅读同样重要。

我一直都认为语言文字的能力都是相通的。

我女儿在幼儿园时期，虽然学校不鼓励认字，超前学习，但是我女儿从小喜欢看书，

3、4岁就可以独立阅读，5岁多出国的时候中文小说也可以自由阅读了。出国前我曾经给她买过一套《中国兔子德国草》，她很喜欢，里面提到的异国生活经历对她的心理成长帮助很大。

她在一年级就看完了《国际大奖小说》系列。这套书最大的好处，就是，当她到了现在的学校，学校里有很多这套小说的原版英文小说，所以她会经常借回来看，有中文版本垫底，所以读起英文来就是连猜带蒙，反正也喜欢囫囵着看。《小屁孩日记》也是中英文都看了若干遍了。

去年下半年比较迷《老鼠记者》，把整套差不多50-60本都从图书馆借回来看了。

中文书也没有落下，现在正在追着看《可怕的科学》中文系列，我的用意还是希望她看完后接着看英文版，相互促进。

我感觉中文阅读好，英文也喜欢阅读。爱看书是最重要的。有了阅读做基础，学什么理解力都快。

女儿在上周发现学校图书馆里有《可怕的科学》英文版《Horrible Science》，她用家长的读书卡一下子借回来5本，正在热读中。平心而论，这套书里出现了很多中学才会出现的物理化学词汇，很多比较专业的词语，已经属于科普类读物了。

小孩子真是潜力无限。

刚才翻出孩子的《Poetry book》，里面是我女儿曾经背过的英文诗，摘一首放在这，看看这里面有多少绕口的生词？反正我到现在还有些词当时和女儿一起学习了，也背了，现在仍旧忘了什么意思。

我翻了一下，她的这个贴了英文诗的册子里一共28首诗。想起每周女儿流着眼泪背诗的情形历历在目，风雨过后见彩虹啊！

女儿一年级自己写的诗歌册子里有一首诗，一开始我看了半天，没有看懂，后来才发现，拼写错了。老师好像都能看懂，都能猜出来。

我感觉这种写短诗的写作形式挺好的，简短的词，凝练的语言，情景化的表达。

The blue ocean

It is always full of sadne

and bad fellings （应该是feelings） in the game of sealife

女儿配的插画是一片茫茫的大海里一只鲸鱼只露出一截尾巴，据她说，这是一首悲伤的诗

背诗，写诗，有点像我们中国人开蒙学《格律启蒙》里的：“云对雨，雪对风，来鸿对去燕，晚照对晴空”，这种风格很神似。

我正在考虑是不是也在家里教孩子《千字文》或者《格律启蒙》，先背诵，然后再仿写。这样中文水平肯定就上来了。

从女儿一年级的Portfolio里找到了一个自己制作的科学实验小册子。

她们没有自然课，但是每天上午属于班主任老师的90分钟，和下午2点放学之前的一段时间，她们也会有自己的类似自然课的内容。我曾经在陪读的时候，感受过一次。那次课上老师指定一个小同学读一本关于《热带雨林》的书，老师在小同学读的同时，会在电子白板上同步播放书的彩页部分。

在介绍了热带雨林生物多样性之后，老师会问大家一些关于热带雨林的问题。比如，热带雨林主要分布在哪里，为什么其它地方没有热带雨林？

热带雨林里为什么有的植物生长得又快又高，有的就匍匐生长，见不到阳光？ 小朋友们都踊跃回答，答案五花八门，笑掉大牙的也有。老师好像都习以为常了。

女儿在当时很多还不理解，但很快就融入了举手的行列，因为瞎回答也没啥。班上最搞笑的一个小男孩每次都举手，举得都差不多站起来了，等老师叫他起来，他就会说“我不知道”“我忽然忘了答案了”。我都觉得好玩。老师好像也习惯了，从来不恼。

类似的课程多了，有时候会动动手，孩子们自己设计自己的实验内容。老师会把几个关键的词汇写在黑板上。下面这个就是女儿写的（同样好多的错别字，老师从来都不帮着修改的）：

First you wonder what will happen in your experiment.I wonder what will happen if I mix cola, oil, baking soda and salt.

Then you gather yor(显然应该是your） materials for your experiment.I get spoon, cola, oil, baking soda, cup and salt.

First you pour the oil into the cup.I pour the oil into the cup.Then you poru coke into the oil.I pour the coke into the oil.

Now, you wrire what you observed.I observed oil float up in a bobelly way, I think it looks this way because baking soda goes into the oil.

小册子里每个步骤都配了一副自己画的示意图，女儿画的是一个卡通大眼睛女孩做实验的过程。看起来很搞笑，但画的也足以表达出来实验细节了。他们的课程与美术课都结合起来了。这个实验小册子女儿写了好几天，每天在学校写一点，并不是家庭作业，也不是在学校一气呵成。老师还特意告诉我，因为我女儿太追求完美，字写得太慢了。

一年级的英语写作水平基本上就是这样了。 其实我觉得国内的教育也不是没有可取之处。

在对比了国内和国外的基础教育之后，我觉得中国中学的数理化教育还是非常棒的。以后有机会我再开帖子细写吧。

对于英语学习，从我的个人经历来说，从初中到大学，甚至到后来成年后的再学习，英语始终是哑巴英语。 开口无法表达，下笔无法描述。

我个人的英语听力进步，是从VOA慢速英语的听写开始的，听力和口语共同进步，是从每天看美剧开始的。 文字的进步，是从每天抄写《英语学习》上的小文章，和抄写Economist开始的。当然新概念我也背过，第四册我最喜欢，但也没有全部都背下来。在抄写和背的过程中，逐渐感受到英文文字的美。我当年每天都花一个小时左右的时间做这些事情，持续了几年，才开始有量变到质变的突破。尽管在我学英语的过程中，很少应用，但是，这个积累是很重要的。

所以我对我女儿的英语学习，是非常不认同国内的那些英语教育方式的，这也是我在国内从来没有让孩子上各种英语培训班的原因。不是这些培训不好，而是我认为self-leading自我探索适合自己的学英语方式最重要。

我也会思考，如果我女儿还在国内，她的英语学习我会怎样进行？我可能还是会采取我所认可的精读＋泛读，精听＋泛听的方式，自己选材来教女儿。我女儿在国外的过渡期的头半年，我们每天饭后至少1个小时的英语学习时间，这段陪读时间帮助她树立学英语的信心，引导她掌握学习的方法，等到她能开始自己的简单阅读，自己能查电子词典查发音，我就放手了，学习的独立性和自主性也是很重要的。任何学习都是学贵有恒，坚持是很重要的。我们现在每天坚持的事情，是中文学习，希望她能够与国内孩子们同步，在目前的中文学习中能感受到汉语的风澹华美，保持学中文的热情和兴趣！

国内的英语教学里都很强调类似阅读理解或者完型填空。特别是那种给一段文字短文，读完后，在下面接着选择答题。

我看我女儿的英语学习里很少有这样的内容。她们不做选择题，期末也没有这样的考试内容。

不过国外的孩子们一样要背单词。我女儿学校每周有Word Study学习，老师会发一个打印好的彩页加一个打印着单词的字条。彩页上是一些发音或者字形相近的字词，对应着它们的实物图片，帮助孩子们记忆，打印着单词的字条是孩子们必须会拼写，会造句的单词，每周不同，基本上一周学习10-15个左右。每隔几周班级有单词听写，一般在听写之前会发一个小通知，家长在家帮助孩子做准备。一般发下来字条我就会让女儿每个单词抄写5遍，再造一个句子。有时间的话每天都听写一下，会的写下来，不会的再多写两遍，第二天重复。

阅读是循序渐进的，小学一年级到二年级的阶梯读物大部分都是每页上以图画为主，有一两个单词或几个简单的句子，单词可能都是重复的，或者类似的，但整本书还有一定的情节，所以看下来并不枯燥。等到程度加深了，阅读看的还是图画书，但文字量增加。随着各个孩子阅读程度的不同，每个月会有老师做阅读评定，根据孩子们不同的阅读能力用字母和颜色分级。我女儿刚去的时候是最低的A级，但很快一年级结束的时候她就到达了M级（按照ABCDEFG。。。XYZ分级）。每个孩子都有阅读能力相当的阅读搭档，在阅读课上阅读同一本书后互相交流讨论，写下自己和对方对这本书的简评。课堂上老师也会设置一些题目，比如环保题目，自我描述等等，结合题目把孩子们自己想的内容先画出来，然后再自己配上自己写的文字，有单页的，也有做成连环画的样子的。我女儿现在的家庭阅读作业，老师会要求她们查一下作者的生平简历，写出所看的图书里的时间地点情节和最喜欢的部分，这种连抄带写并不难，但写地多了，自然生词就会写了，也认识了，并逐渐掌握了句型。

其实国内的家长和老师们可以多学习和注重这种生活化的英语，把语言的学习落实在描述自己的生活上，不必太过纠结单词的正确与错误，保持孩子的兴趣，多听，多看，慢慢积累。

我女儿她们也需要背单词。在前面我仔细写了。每周10-15个单词，要求能听写，会造句。我自己只背过新概念第四册，因为我觉得文章很经典，文字很美，越读越有感觉。我女儿没有读过，也没有背过新概念。她在跟我到了这边，才开始接触英语，她在一年级每周需要背绕口的英文诗，对比起来，新概念更容易，所以背背也没什么不好，毕竟是亚历山大老先生的扛鼎之作。语言学习需要背，就跟我们背小学语文课文一样，中文英文没什么区别。

她们也学习语法，但不是国内那种学习方式，而是在老师布置写故事的同时，老师会讲一下，如果是写过去发生的事情应该怎样说，未来发生的事情应该怎样说怎样写。

不必纠结的是在写作过程中的单词拼写和语法错误，从我女儿这两年的经历来看，她的老师们基本上就从来不纠正拼写和语法错误，估计是等着孩子们自己发现和纠正呢。但她们的英语学习很重视写作和模仿写作部分，所以小孩子的写作能力都很强，即便是满篇都是错别字，但只要表达出来就可以，这种写作在我看来是一种有英文语境背景下的写作，所以国内可能还不能完全模仿。比如，有的孩子写他们喜欢的颜色，他们会写my favorat caler is pinc.尽管都是错误，但是一读，就知道这孩子写的是什么，因为是建立在发音基础上的。这种写法是先会说，再学写。所以会说，听懂应该是学英语第一位的。多让孩子看一些有趣的英文动画片，建立语感，然后再一点点摹写，这种学习英语的顺序才是重要的，否则，学了半天，还是哑巴英语。

需要一提的是，我女儿班上新插班了一个中国北京来的小男孩，二年级。据他妈妈说，他从幼儿园开始学三一英语，但是到了这边的学校，上课基本听不懂。班主任老师在阅读写作课上，让他画图写故事，也规定他可以写中文。不过据我女儿说，他中文也很多不会或者写不出来。这个小男孩在国内学小提琴，上个周末到我家跟我女儿一起上小提琴课，听了一会就跑到一边去了，我问他，怎么不听了，他说听不懂老师讲什么。可见，国内的英文教育即便是从小孩抓起，学了若干年，普通孩子仍然在英语的听说上不过关。

不太了解三一英语到底是什么，因为我女儿在北京孙瑞雪幼儿园的时候什么英语都没有学。好像有个外教，但是因为学校教学有点像选课一样，我女儿想不上就不上，也没人管。我在北京的同事的孩子所在幼儿园很多开三一英语课，具体效果怎样，我不好评价。三一英语是英国圣三一学院的英语考级，应该说有一定的权威性。具体如何还在于授课的老师水平和教学质量吧。

任何一种英语学习都得在实践中经受检验。我的感受是，语言的学习都一样。英文和中文没有区别。

我女儿现在每天坚持中文学习，每天要抄课文，念课文，每周抄生字，听写生字，每个周末还有描红作业，她已经描完了整本的《论语》，《唐诗三百首选篇》，《世界伟人座右铭》等，每个周末背两首诗，写两篇200字以上的日记。对待中文的办法和对待英文的办法一样，多念，多抄写，多背诵，多仿写作文。她们每天下午2点就放学了，那点作业一会就写完了。回家就是自学中文了，我隔两天检查一下进度。

用这种方法保持中文的水平，和在国内用这种方法学英语应该是差不多吧。不同的是，国内小学校内就有很多英语课，所以课下应该不需要花太多时间。我女儿在学校是没有中文语境和中文课的，所以只有课下每天抽一个小时左右自己学习了。贵在坚持，一天一个小时足矣。

今天我也当了一回小老师！

貌似有理，但其实也不然。 全球现在有很多中国城唐人街，很多人因缘际会一辈子被扔在了外国语的环境里，但是如果他自己不主动去学，去交流，很多人仍然在唐人街说着蹩脚的英语，一辈子无法融入国外的文化和生活。你能说他们没有语言环境吗？打开电视都是英文，出门走到哪里也都是英文，但就有很多人生生在这样的环境里仍然学不会英文。这样的人现在依然很多啊。

不过，根据我自己的切身感受，我觉得语言的学习除了环境，个人的语言能力也很重要。

这个语言能力怎么说呢，有的人听一遍就能模仿的惟妙惟肖，有的人听很多遍也说不出来，发不出音来。 小孩子也一样的。曾经提到的到我女儿班上插班的中国孩子，据他妈妈说，在国内学了4年英语，但是在学校里基本上就是听不懂。我女儿回来汇报说，她们图书课的老师说这个孩子的英语阅读能力连EC1（就是Early children，3-4岁)的孩子都不如。其实我听了我女儿回来的讲述后，还是很震惊的，在国内报了4年的班，一直到小学二年级，学校里也有英语课，为什么学了这么多年英语，到了学校听力不过关有情可原，但是阅读能力也这么差，这些年学的英语都在学什么？

英语学习用不着太高深，尖端或者神秘化。我觉得语境很容易找到，多看美剧，原版动画片，每天都看，精听泛听一起上，语感就有了。这一点我赞同有个叫做粽子英语的学习方法，与我心有戚戚焉。民国时候学贯中西的语言大师辜鸿铭，他学英语的方法就是死记硬背，专背经典名著。可以借鉴。中文要想学好了，不也要苦背名篇，读经诵典？现在的语文教育，变成了学生们不会语，讲话没有逻辑条例，不具有煽动性，不会文，下笔无神，写不出真诚而文采华然的文章。究其原因，读的太少，背的太少。英文教育，如果家长只看重报个班就参加，不注重实际效果，一点用都没有，还不如自己在家看英文大片呢。
