陈文女士加入本校之前，曾于报刊、电视及电台任职，担任新闻节目主持及主播长达16年。她服务的新闻机构包括本港及海外媒体，曾被派驻香港、上海及北京等地。陈女士于2009年加入我校新闻与传播学院，教授英文新闻本科课程，负责带领学生出版英文新闻实习刊物。2001年她将实习刊物的网站更新，同时加强多媒体报道。她希望学生能紧跟时代步伐，同时培养坚实的采访能力，与卓越的说故事技巧。陈女士相信，新闻教育的价值在于启发学生成为独立、具有批判思维与沟通能力，以及关心社会的公民。
Prior to joining our school, Ms.Chen served in pre, television and radio as a news program host and anchor for 16 years.The news agencies she served include Hong Kong and overseas media and she had been stationed in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.Ms.Chen joined the School of Journalism and Communication in 2009 and taught undergraduate English courses.She was responsible for leading students to publish English news intern publications.In 2001 she updated the website of her internship publication and enhanced her multimedia coverage.She hoped that students will keep pace with the times while developing solid interview ability and excellent storytelling skills.Ms.Chen believes that the value of journalism education is to inspire students to be people who are independent, have critical thinking and communication skills, and care for the community.。
