跨国中式婚
吉吉：I’m really excited to attend this grand wedding of my best friend Mercy! So eager to know what the traditional Chinese wedding be like!
司仪：花堂结彩披锦绣，欢天喜地笙歌奏，今日设宴邀亲友，举觞称贺赞佳偶！各位佳宾，各位亲朋好友，大家好！首先对诸位贵客亲临婚礼现场，以及给二位新人带来的祝福与厚爱表示由衷的谢意！今日喜堂之上，来自法国的Mercy小姐嫁与中国王府的王公子为妻，可谓是：才子淑女，天作之合；总之，今日喜堂之上是：燕尔新婚恭迎亲人聚；缔结良缘诚邀贵客来！因时间关系就不一一介绍了，我再次代表新人及两方亲友对各位的光临表示诚挚的感谢！
Ladies and Gentlemen, good evening! Welcome to Ms.Mercy and Mr.Wang’s wedding ceremony.Let’s applaud for them ,Mercy is from France,and Mr.Wang is from China.They are really talent guy and beautiful lady.First of all, please allow me on behalf of the couple’s families to extent sincere greetings to every distinguished guest here.Thanks for your coming , and special gratitude for the family and friends.
新娘嫁入王家门，新郎三箭定乾坤：赐弓箭！一箭准，二箭稳，三定乾坤在法门！ （王拿起弓箭准备射）
吉吉：（慌张）Everybody watch out! What’s that! Why do you have bow and arrow here? This is a wonderful wedding for this new couple, is it?
林：（看着吉吉）你怎么了？
（两人因语言不通无法沟通，此时李和黎出现)
李：这位外国友人问为什么会在婚礼上准备弓箭呢？
林：哈哈哈哈哈，我说这位朋友刚刚怎么那么慌张呢！原来担心的是这个啊！是这样的，这是我们中式婚礼的一种习俗。射天，那是祈求上天的祝福；射地呢，就是代表地久天长；往前射，那就是前程似锦啊！哈哈！
李：瞧这俩人，要不然，我们给他们做个翻译吧！
黎：好啊 好啊It’s a traditional custom of our Chinese wedding.Shooting to the sky is to pray for a bleing, and shooting to the land means that they can be together forever, and shooting forth means a bright future.
吉吉：Oh.Sorry, I got it now.
司仪：好!执事莅位，礼宾候场——
一遍锣声，祈求吉祥永保平安；二遍鼓响，天地造化赐福新人；三遍锣鼓吉时到！张灯结彩 瑞星高照，有请新郎新娘入花堂——！
吉吉：Wow, there is something in their way.（指着火盆和马鞍） I’ll move them away.（说完往前）
李：前面有东西挡路了，我去把他们移开。（拉住吉吉）这位朋友觉得前面的火盆和马鞍挡住了新人们的路。
林：（笑）朋友你先别急别急。这可不是挡路用的。
黎：Oh my friend, just calm down.It is not for being in the way.
But for what?
司仪：迈过火盆升宏运，好日子红红又火火！有请新娘迈火盆——！ 林：（新人迈火盆）这迈了火盆啊，以后的生活就红红火火。
黎：In our Chinese wedding , striding over the fire basket is to have a wonderful life in the future.司仪：幸福路上跨马鞍，平安吉祥代代传！有请新娘跨马鞍——！
林：（新人跨马鞍）跨了马鞍，代表以后平平安安。
黎：And striding over the saddle exprees a hope to be peaceful and healthy.
吉吉：Oh, I see.Chinese wedding is kind of unpredictable for me.So that is what it is.（困惑） 李：原来如此，中国的婚礼还真是让人捉摸不透啊。
（大家都笑了）
司仪：拜花堂：天高地广，人海茫茫，二位新人鸾凤呈祥，是上苍的旨意，是天赐的良缘，为此首先请新郎新娘面对天地台。
吉吉：Why the bride and bridegroom don’t swear to the God?
李：为什么新郎和新娘不对上帝宣誓呢？
林：你接着往下看就知道啦。
黎：You can have a look first.
司仪：两位新人大喜，我们首先要感谢的是天造之和，感谢地造之缘。感天谢地，两位新人，一拜天地——
（新人一拜）
林：这一拜，是对天地之谢。
黎：Firstly, they bow to thank Heaven and Earth .
吉吉：Thanks the God let them meet.
李：感谢上天让他们相遇。
司仪：两位新人面向高堂，感谢父母养育之恩，结婚之后当然不能忘记孝顺老人啊！二拜高堂——
（新人二拜）
林：这一拜，就是谢父母之恩。
黎：Secondly , they bow to thank their parents.
吉吉：Yea.Parents foster us till today, with their whole heart.
李：嗯。是应该谢谢父母抚育我们长大。
司仪：现在两位新人相对而立。百年修得同船渡，千年修得共枕眠。我们祝两位新人乾坤交泰，琴瑟和鸣。早得贵子，白头偕老。新郎新娘面对面，夫妻对拜——
林：这一拜，是夫妻之间的承诺。
黎：At last , it’s a commitment of the couples.
林：这三拜下来，不就正是对天地，父母以及对方的宣誓么？
黎：And these are promises to Heaven , Earth ,parents and love.
吉吉：Now I got it.In my country, most of us are God believers.We believe bride and bridegroom must swear to God.Then, God will ble them both all the days of their lives.But in your country, you seems pur more attention on destiny that ties people together and filial duty.
李：我明白了。在我们国家，大部分信仰的是宗教上帝。而在中国，你们更注重缘分和忠孝之道。
林：（赞同点头）嗯。
司仪：好！现在新郎看我手里拿的是什么呀？
新郎：秤杆。
吉吉：（不解）What’s that? Is that a usual weigh beam? Don’t they want to use that to weigh bride?
李：对啊。这不是普通的秤杆么？她还以为婚礼上用这个称一称新娘的体重。
司仪：对。（把秤杆给新郎）现在新郎看新娘。称杆星，称杆亮，称杆一伸挑吉祥！有请新郎用这称杆之星挑出两府的吉星高照！挑出恩爱夫妻的美满前程！左一挑，称心如意；右一挑，隽秀端庄；中间一挑，挑出一个芙蓉出水配成双。
林：（笑）这称啊，代表逞心如意。自然是中式婚礼上必不可少的吉祥物。
黎：Scales represents that everything will go after their heart.And there is no doubt that it’s a eential mascot in the wedding.
吉吉：Well.That’s quiet meaningful,right? When will bride and bridegroom exchange their rings? You know what? I love it most.
李：新郎和新娘什么时候才会交换戒指呢？我最喜欢的就是这一幕了。
林：中式婚礼上我们不是交换戒指，我们交换其他的信物。看！
黎：There is no exchange of rings in Chinese wedding , and you can see that we have different tokens.
司仪：美满姻缘两情真，特殊信物伴终身：有请新人向我们展示相互准备的结婚信物。 我们看到新郎送给新娘的是——？
新郎：一把具有中国韵味的扇子。
新娘送给新郎的是——？
新娘：你写给我的第一封情书。

吉吉：What a touching scene! There are so many inside.
李：哇！好感动啊！原来简简单单的小东西包含了这么多的情谊！
林：那当然了。
司仪：新婚新偶新人人人如意，佳期佳景佳时时时称心。
在这幸福的时刻，新郎新娘将共饮合卺（jˇin）酒，甘苦与共到白头。有请所有人为新郎新娘斟酒。左合卺：幸福生活花似锦——！右合卺：恩恩爱爱见真心——！
交换卺具，共碰卺具，碰出旷世好姻缘——！
林：这就是传说中的交杯酒。
黎：It is cro-cupped wine.
吉吉：I once heard about ir.What’s that special?
李：嗯，我也听说过这个名字。那其中又有什么特殊的寓意呢？
林：这个习俗就源远流长了。据说，宋代时，新婚夫妇喝交杯酒时用的是两个酒杯，先饮一半后再换杯共饮，饮完后则将酒杯一正一反掷于床下，以示婚后百年好合。到现在，如今的婚仪中，“按杯于床下”之礼已被革除，惟“交杯酒”之礼仪仍然实行。
黎：It has a long history.It said that the newlyweds would put the cups under the bed after having a drink in the Song Dynasty .But now, we don’t put the cups under the bed any more , and the cro-cupped wine still exists.
吉吉：Chinese wedding has so many rites and the Chinese culture has extensive and
profound knowledge.I learn so much today.
李：中式婚礼果然文化气息浓厚，中华文化也是博大精深啊！
司仪：好！在众位宾朋的见证下，Mercy 小姐与王公子缔结姻缘，喜结连理。祝福这对新人白头皆老，恩爱百年——
至此，我宣布：新郎官王公子、新娘子Mercy新婚典礼到此礼成！顺祝各位亲朋吉祥如意，福寿安康！

吉吉：So amazing and rosy!
李：太美好了！
林：那当然，这只是中式婚礼中小小的一部分，如果你看完所有的细节，你一定会大吃一惊的。
黎：Of course.It’s just a little part of Chinese weddings , and you will be surprised if you know all details.
吉吉：Really?This is not all? I want to have a Chinese wedding in my special day.Thank you for your kind explanation.I will give you my wedding invitation in due course.
李：真的吗？这还不是所有？我以后也要举办中式的婚礼。谢谢你们今天的解说，到时候我的婚礼一定会给你们寄请帖的！哈哈
