At this enchanting evening of summer, it gives me much pleasure to join you here to enhance our friendship.I would like to, on behalf of Suzhou MunicipalGovernment, extend our warmest welcome to all of you.And I would like to expre our heart-felt thanks to you for your long-term support and care for the development of Suzhou.
The recent years witneed the great strides of Suzhou in implementing its strategy of Prospering Suzhou through Science and Technology and Strengthening Suzhou through talents.With proper balance among talents, science and technology and industries, Suzhou has improved its innovation capability and achieved remarkable results in restructuring its industries with focus on cultivating new industries such as bio-medicine, new energy and new materials etc.Today, thanks for your coming, distinguished guests, research fellows and experts, the symposium will exert profound and far-reaching influence on the development of bio-medicine and science and technology of Suzhou.I would take this opportunity to expre our appreciation for everybody present here and hope that you can continue your care and support for Suzhou like you always do.And we hope that you can frequent Suzhou to share with
