Good evening everyone.I’m here to talk about a controversial topic.Many students sitting here are the only child in your family, right? So do I, I always wonder what my life would be if I had a brother.Unfortunately, I can’t realize my dream.But nowadays, China abandons one-child policy.Under new policy, couples will be allow to have up to two children.
Under the preure of overpopulation, Chinese government implemented the family planning policy as measure to control population.It original intentions are to improve the standard of the life, reduce the consumption of the resource, and relief the preure on environment.However, it causes some inevitable problems.
First, this policy induce the reduction of labor force.The family structure becomes 4 2 1.A couple must raise 4 old people and a child.It is very easy for us to find that the working population declines.And our aumption is confirmed by the sociologist.Since 2010, the demand of worker exceeded the supply.As everyone knows, China has amazing speed of economic growth.It should thanks to demographic bonus.Without demographic bonus China will no longer be the world factory, Chinese economic will face a challenge.
Secondly, family face much more challenges .One the one hand, child undertakes all the hope from parents.Because they will have more responsibility for the parents, they have to get succe.Only in this way can they make the parent have good life.On the other hand, parents will be heart-broken if their child dies accidentally.I can’t imagine how sad it is.As China daily reports, there are at least one million families losing their only child.This has already become a social problem.
