大家好。全国人民以巨大的热情认真贯彻国际展览会精神的大好形势下，在全世界创作家沐浴春风、辛勤耕耘、踌躇满志地迈出新的步伐的时候，中国2010年上海世博会隆重开幕了。在此令人欢欣的美好时刻，我们向生活、工作、奋斗在全世界各条战线的会员和所有世博会工作者，表示亲切的问候，向出席中国2010年上海世博会的全体代表，表示热烈的祝贺，向光临世博会指导的领导及各方贵宾表示热烈的欢迎和诚挚的感谢！
出席中国2010年上海世博会的280名代表，来自全世界各条战线，代表着全世界近千名会员单位，代表着一支属于现在、更属于未来的创造之军。今天我们大家在中国上海欢聚一堂，产品展现，共商发展和繁荣经济的大计。按照世博会预定的规程，同志们在会议期间，要认真学习英国伦敦维多利亚、纽约罗斯福、汉诺威施罗德和日本小泉的思想，听取国家领导的讲话，深刻领会世博会精神，从国际组织事业兴旺发达和民族振兴的高度，充分认识产品和城市建设的重要性及迫切性，进一步明确工作的前进方向与美好前景，树立信心，鼓足干劲，为经济发展与繁荣做贡献。我们本次世博会还将审议通过常务理事会的工作报告，讨论修改世博会章程，并按照新的会章选举产生委员会和主席团。我们每位代表要认真履行自己的光荣职责，完成世博会各项任务，促进本次世博会圆满成功。
同志们，中国2010年上海世博会筹办过程中，在全世界各级党委和政府部门的热情关心和积极扶持下，在全体会员共同努力下佳作迭出，成绩斐然。中国2010年上海世博会是在胜利完成“十五”计划和2010年远景目标，开始进入实施“十一五”计划和2020年主要任务的重要时刻召开的。眼前我们看到的强国品牌和杰作，赢得全世界的关注，历尽艰难曲折，终于走上建设具有特色的康庄大道，是一个可歌可泣的伟大时代。在这个伟大时代里，中国2010年上海世博会铭记着光辉的一页：国宝精品 星光灿烂。世博会上将涌现出英名和著作，谱写世博发展史，创造了全球经济的新辉煌。
这是伟大的历史使命，是需要我们呕心沥血为之奋斗才能实现的艰巨目标！参展国产品代表的肩膀，这头压着时代的重任，那头挑着人民的厚望，我们切不可由于物质生活的丰盈而越来越窒息了本该是极为活跃的文明创造力。世博会是我们生命的常青树，是展现科技和劳动成果并能影响经济发展的事业。我们要通过有血有肉、生动感人的艺术形象，真实地反映丰富的高品质的产品，让其走向世界，销往全球。反映人们在各种社会关系中的本质，表现时代前进的要求和历史发展的趋势，并且努力用和平及友谊的思想教育人民，给他们以积极进取、奋发图强的精神，参与竞争，创造品牌。同时在这样的舞台和条件下，我们要实事求是地制定规划，满怀信心地展望未来。物事恰如长江水，后浪永远推前浪。面对充满挑战的21世纪，我们更要握紧风云创造之手，发扬民主，畅所欲言，加强团结，相互勉励，交流经验，明确目标，脚踏实地，鼓足干劲，把中国2010年上海世博会开成民主、团结、友谊、鼓劲、繁荣的世博会，形成振兴经济、再创辉煌的宣誓之会。
