自我介绍（英文版）
Good morning, my respected profeors! It is my honor to be here for your interview.My name is Luo Tingyuan, and now I am majoring in economics in Beijing Jiaotong University.Peking University is one of my most ambitious dreams which I did not realize three years ago because of the failure in college entrance examination.And that’s why I have been working and studying so hard during my campus life and now, sit here, trying to seize a precious chance to make my dream come true.
I would like to inform you of my situation in those aspects:
First of all, I take much pride to say that I acted brilliantly in study.Of the economics major, I ranked 1.Besides, I have won many prizes, such as the first prize in Mathematics Contest in 2007 and the second prize in Mathematics Modeling Contest in 2008.
And second, I learned a lot about how to carry on a research during my undergraduate time.During my junior year, I participated in an inspiring program headed by Profeor Xuemei Lee, and learned many methods about conducting researches.What’s more, I published a paper in English for the International Conference, the proceeding of which can be indexed by ISTP and IE.
Last but not least, I undertook an internship in a stock investment company during the summer break in Shenzhen, where I found personal goal: Securities Practitioner, such as fund manager.I believe your program will help me acquire more knowledge of finance and economics for employment.
All in all, I will appreciate so much if you can take my application into careful consideration.
