Interviewer1: Tell me about yourself.
Candidate: I’ve just graduated from XX University with a degree in HR Management.During the summers, I worked as a system administrator for a small company to help pay for my education.Is there any particular information you’d like me to discu?
Interviewer2: What attracted you to this job?
Candidate: I’ve been searching for a while now to find a company that had a busine model and corporate philosophy like yours.I am interested in working for a company that provides products and services to the education market.My background is in this field, and my strength is in building relationships and solving problems.I am excited and interested in the idea of developing busine relationships through e-commerce.
Interviewer1: what makes you think you would be a succe in this position?
Candidate: my graduate school training combined with my internship should qualify me for this particular job.I am sure I will be succeful.
Interview 2: if you were hiring a graduate for this position, what qualities would you look for?
Candidate: the ability to learn.This has nothing to do with grades or university experience.A fresh college graduate with no work experience is completely usele.What is important to look for is someone who can quickly rectify that.
Interview1: do you have any past experience in human resources?
Candidate: for the past two years, I have a solid understanding of HR procedures because of a certificate program I completed.I have excellent communication skills and have written policies and procedures for the last two companies I worked for, though not quite long.I am also a team player and have great interpersonal skills.I feel I have a lot to offer as a team member.I thrive on challenge and work well in high-stre environments.With my qualifications and experience, I feel I am hardworking, responsible and diligent in any project I undertake.Your organization could benefit from my analytical and interpersonal skills.
Interview2: what type of position are you looking for?
Candidate: I am interested in an entry level position.
Interviewer 1: as an entry-level employee, a lot of the work you do will be rather routine.How do you feel about that?
Candidate: I certainly don’t expect to start my career at the top, and, frankly, I welcome the opportunity to learn this busine from the ground up.Of course, nobody wants to spend an entire career at the copy machine, but I expect that over time as my skills develop and I gain experience, my work will change to reflect my abilities.
Interviewer 2: if you are hired, how long will you stay with this company?
Candidate: as long as the work is challenging and I have the opportunity to learn and advance, I see no reason to consider leaving
Intervieser1: do you have any questions?
Candidate: yes, I do.Why did the last person leave? What are some of the problems you feel a new employee would face in this position, and do you have any suggestions for dealing with them?
