尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们，大家晚上好！很高兴今晚年级上安排时间让各学科老师利用11月月考反思的机会对本期以来同学们的英语学习情况进行一个简单的总结。我觉得这样的机会非常宝贵，也非常必要！

因为自从进入高中学习以来，同学们会发现高中英语学习英语与初中有很大的区别，这不仅反应在老师的教学方法及对同学们的要求上，而且大家可以体会到在难度方面较之初中也有很大的提高，再加之我们在有限的时间里要学习很多科目，使得很多同学感觉到在英语学习上有一定的难度。通过几次月考下来，有的同学甚至感觉到有些弥忙。因此，针对这一现状，我想就以下几点谈谈学习英语值得主意的事项目。

1.英语课堂学习应该注重课堂学习效果，课堂里的40分钟非常宝贵且有限，要在这短短的时间内掌握所有的英语知识肯定不易。因此，课堂中要认真听讲，及时消化，否则容易造成听课越听越不懂，形成恶性循环！这里我要特别提醒少数在课堂上表现不容乐观的同学，他们课堂上看似认真，却是身在心不在，学习重在表象，完全不扎实，课堂上总是要在老师的督促与提醒下才能听课，这样不仅仅影响了自己及周边同学的学习，同时也影响了老师的教学进程，从而浪费课堂学习时间，导致学习困难。要知道学英语学习重在平时的努力，学好英语和智商无关，学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人。那种想靠临时突击，临时抱佛脚的做法不可取也不可行。

2.英语学习贵在坚持！就好像跑步运动，英语学习之初大家都从同一个起跑线出发，但随着难度加深与词汇量加大，一些同学慢慢对英语失去新鲜感续而厌烦最后掉队。希望大家都能奋发图强，高中生活也才过去六分之一，因此还存较大提高的余地！对于英语偏科的同学，虽然是历史原因造成的，但并不是不可根治的，想要证明自己真正有实力那就从偏科的英语入手，重点突破！所以，现在欠下了学习债的同学们在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。

3.学习习惯是第一生产力。许多同学英语学习好，并不是他（她）比别人聪明，而是学习习惯比较好。良好的学习习惯可以大大提高你的学习效果，我们年级有很多这样的同学，比如：黄健，张叶，练诗林，孙震，邹佳玲，彭圣文，姜艳秋，黄静文，官慧婕，唐建柯等同学，她们学习态度端正，上课认真，书写工整，正因为如此，无论什么考试都能取得很好的成绩，这与她们平时良好的学习习惯是分不开的！因此，良好的学习习惯是成功学习的保障。在此，我向大家提出几点建议，希望大家能坚持做好。

首先，树立必胜的学习“自信心”。人的自信心是一种心理品质，是情感因素之一，它对我们的学习起着重要作用。对于一个有自信的人，他会勇于面对挑战，努力向自己定下的目标进发，追求自我实现，不仅可以带来个人的成功感，在其他方面也能得到全面的发展，使自己更受人欢迎；相反，对一个没有自信的人，他会逃避挑战，不敢面对失败的风险，怀疑自己的能力，使自己失去很多成功的机会。因此，希望大家能够正确地分析自己的处境、建立适度的期望值，正确而理性地对待分数，有句话说的好：永远不要否定自己，因为没有人已百分百地认识自己，人的潜能是无穷的。你自己也一样。给自己一个目标，自己跟自己比，只要今天的自己比昨天的自己有进步，就说明你是成功的。要知道，学习英语是一项艰苦的劳动，没有顽强的意志，坚持不懈的毅力是不能成功的。所以英语学习中要克服畏难心理，锻炼学生坚强的意志。同时，在学习过程中，不断地给自己积极的心理的暗示：如“我能赶上„„”，“我会获得成功的。”

第二，要做好课前预习。高中英语教材每一个模块的内容都比初中明显增多，词汇量大，课文长，难度大。因此，同学们必须在每节课前做好充分的预习，通过查字典等工具书解决难点。对于自己解决不了的问题，做好标记。上课时，要特殊注重这些难点地方，这样课堂听课做到有的放矢，学习效果好，也就提高了学习效率。

第三，重视阅读理解能力的培养。阅读的目的是提高对语篇整体认识的能力,以及推理判断,归纳总结的能力。坚持长期阅读(每天至少2篇以上)是稳步提高的保证。通过有计划有步骤的课外阅读(如我们所订的报纸),不仅能巩固拓宽教材所学内容,更关键是会使所学知识活起来,激发出浓厚的学英语的兴趣以及扩大知识量的欲望。

第四，养成朗读背诵的习惯。朗读是在课文所提供的语境中对语音,语调,意群,句型等基础知识的综合练习,同时培养纯正的语音语调和好的用语习惯以及为听力打下坚实的基础。对学过的句型,词组,对话,课文进行朗读和背诵,形成流利的语感,也培养了理解能力,为说,读及英语写作打好基础,这是提高英语水平的根本方法。

第五，建立错误档案本。在学习过程中,已获得的知识和技能对以后新知识,新技能的形成产生一定的影响,最好的办法是消灭错误,获得正确知识和技能。每次练习或考试后,应该把自己做错的具有代表性的题目抄下来,收集汇编,然后把老师对错题讲解后的正确语句熟读牢记,保留错误的答案,用红笔写上正确的答案,眉批上理由分析,这样就形成新的语言习惯。平时和临考前翻看,加深印象,引起注意,大大减少了错误率。既巩固了知识,又提高了应试能力,发挥了最佳的水平。

第六，养成良好的书写习惯。书写规范,字迹工整,卷面整洁的习惯也很重要.高中相当一部分学生的字体书写不好,难以辨认,大小写不分,词距若有若无,标点符号乱用,给老师批改作业和试卷造成极大的麻烦。这在高考阅卷评分中会吃大亏,白白丢分。因此,从高一开始平时要养成书写规范的习惯,对大小写,标点符号和词距等一定要一丝不苟,力求规范化,整齐美观。

第七，养成使用英汉双解词典的习惯。高中学生阅读面扩大,需要补充词汇量.学生应备一本英汉词典,如牛津中,高阶英汉双解词典,在学习中随时查阅。这在很大程度上能解决学生的疑惑,帮助理解词的用法,词汇量也就随之不断扩大. 最后，认真对待老师布置的作业，包括书面的和非书面的作业。作业一定要按时独立完成，不要成为学习上的“寄生虫”。作业是老师检查了解学生知识掌握情况的一个有效途径，要求同学们能如实客观地对待作业。知之为知之，不知为不知，宁愿独立完成归后空几题的作业，也比完全不经过自己大脑思考抄袭来的作业质量高得多。许多同学自觉性差，平时空空散漫，交作业时就抄，很多时间，老师都布置了一定的英语作业，但更多的时候是要求同学们主动地去找作业做，找事情干。这里要特别强调的是课外英语单词的记忆。众所周知，记忆在英语教学中占有极其重要的地位。从某种程度讲，它是学好英语的要害与前提。因为英语是一门记忆性很强的学科。它有大量的单词、词组、句型、语法等需要记忆。有些同学反应单词老是记不住，问有没有捷径可循，我想方法之一尽量采取情景记忆，把这个单词放在语言环境中记，这样不仅轻易记住，而且还把握了它的用法。因此在这就特别强调对我们报纸单词的记忆是在仔细阅读报纸文章的前提下进行的。因为在文章中或对话中记单词，能达到事半功倍的效果。以记单词为例，方法很多，但是比较科学简洁的方法还是研究单词的结构，分析词义。分析英代的单词构成，可以知道复合词和派生词占相称大比例，尤其是派生词数量极多，派生词均由词根和词缀构成，词根和词缀均有特定的含义，若按词根的方式记忆，势必可以提高效率，少出错误。比如，unsucceful，知道词根succe是“成功”的意思，un是否定前缀，ful是形容词后缀，那么，这个单词的词义“不成功的”就很明确了。当然，背单词是一件相当枯燥且繁琐的事情，并不是所有的单词都在一定的情景，因而单词记忆在很多时候需要进行机械记忆，这是语言学科的特性决定的，这也包括英语学习中的相关知识点的记忆。要掌握就必须要不断的反复，背了就忘，忘了再背，如果不及时复习巩固，当然又会忘。所以提醒大学要分散记忆，反复复习。同学们千万不能纵容自己说：英语好难，我记不住就任由他去。我们必须知道：今天，你花大时间去养成好习惯，明天，你就可以更好。

It is true that China is still not perfect.But I cannot think of a single place in the world that comes closer.Not a single place where people lead or will lead better lives, where they live in greater peace and security.Because our country has always been able to adapt and change to meet the hopes and aspirations of our citizens.We\'ve done so in the past.We\'re doing so today.And we will definitely continue to do so in the future.Let\'s love our motherland.It is the hottest and noblest affection which emerged from the deepest of our heart.Loving our country has no condition, and loving our country is speechle.Only when we love our country, can our nation become one of the most powerful nations on the earth!

我爱英语

As everyone knows,English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade.If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulne,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day.With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London,because it is the birth place of English.I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.I know, Rome was not built in a day.I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable.So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.I am sure that I will realize my dream one day!

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen: Today, my topic is that China is the word that has changed the world.China is not only a word, but also a kind of high quality porcelains originally made in China, a symbol that has been well known all around the world, a culture that has been producing great effects on the world literature.Above all, it is a nation that stands in the East like a giant.China is a nation with a history of five thousand years.So China began to change the world at the very beginning.Chinese porcelain, nay, china, was one of the greatest inventions of Ancient China.Europeans began to make copies of those beautiful Chinese porcelains as soon as they were introduced to Europe in seventeenth century.China made the whole of European porcelain industry bloom.At the same time, it promoted the development of European economic history and the European Industry Revolution.Moreover, four great inventions of Ancient China are known to every household.They gave enormous impetuses to China’s politics, economics, and civilization.What’s more, they made great contributions to the world civilization.They were introduced to the west in succeion long before the production of European modern civilization.Then they became the neceary premise of Bourgeois development and provided material base for Bourgeois to board the stage of politics.China has changed the world from the past to the present.Now, more and more people in overseas countries start to learn Chinese and turn to a Confucius Institute in their own countries as their first choice learning Chinese language and Chinese culture.As a second culture, Chinese culture has enriched the life and world outlook of the learners.This trend, so to speak, is gathering momentum and is there to stay.Apart from their love for Chinese cuisine, more and more learners of Chinese language are turning to Chinese acupuncture, herbal medicines, and martial arts.They are also interested in kung fu films, fashions and crafts.Seemingly outlandish words such as dimsum, ginseng, gingko, oolong cha have crept into their everyday language.The latest Chinese cultural icons to make its impact there are Taoism, and ancient school of thought, and fengshui, an ancient art of placement.So China is the very word that has changed the world.We are proud that we are Chinese.I wish China, our motherland, is more thriving in the years ahead. I\'m proud of the history my motherland had gone through China is a country with 5,000 years of civilization.It has formed its fine historical and cultural traditions, which have been either developed or discarded with the changes of the times and social progre.China produced in its history many outstanding philosophers, statesmen, strategists, scientists, writers and artists and left us numerous volumes of literature.Particularly, China\'s four great inventions of paper making, gunpowder, printing and compa had once changed the face of the world.I\' m proud of the the different races of my motherland.Each race has its own culture and customs.Some people are kindhearted, and some are generous, but the same trait of them is industrious .Because of their hard-work , our motherland is developing day by day .Our country is becoming much stronger than before .Our great motherland has just celebrated her 60th birthday, with glory and happine.it was definately suceful and encouraging to those who struggle in this life to free its people from rule by foreign forces. she set many goals and systematically and practically achieved them.

Look back on the sixty years that she has gone through, she was poor and weak, but now she is rich and strong, she used to be bullied, but now she has a great power that is strong enough to shake the whole world.I \'m really proud of my motherland, China.It \'s she who overcame lots of difficulties and made such progre.I\'m proud of these achievements that our motherland has got.She accomplished the goals which were seem to be can\'t be achieved.Hong kong and Macou has returned .and she joined the World Trade Organization with the strong economic capability.She independently made the Shenzhou rockets and they all lifted off succefully.She held the 28th Olympic game, the most splendid and incredibel one the world have ever had.As the new generation of our rapidly developing country , still greater contributions should we make to our nation.Just as what Zhou Enlai used to say: Study for the development of China, study for the prosperity of our nation! This will always inspire us to go ahead.I \'m proud of my motherland, and I\'ll do my best to help her get better and better.

Love Your Life 热爱生活

However mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call it hard names.It is not so bad as you are.It looks poorest when you are richest.The fault-finder will find faults in paradise.Love your life,poor as it is.You may perhaps have some pleasant,thrilling,glorious hours,even in a poor-house.The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man\'s abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring.I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there,and have as cheering thoughts,as in a palace.The town\'s poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any.Maybe they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving.Most think that they are above being supported by the town;but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means,which should be more disreputable.Cultivate poverty like a garden herb,like sage.Do not trouble yourself much to get new things,whether clothes or friends.Turn to the old,return to them.Things do not change;we change.Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

I have a dream Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princees in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I\'m an athlete,I\'m so proud of that all the time .When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldn\'t bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that \"god only help those who help themselves\".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn\'t want to stop my sports career anyway.Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul. 今天，我要演讲的题目是《缅怀一二·九》

当时间追溯到一九三五年的十二月，祖国正在铁蹄下受难。正当中华民族到了最危险的时刻，每个人都被迫发出最后的吼声。中国共产党领导北平的数千名大学生在十二月九日这天，毅然走上街头，举行了大规模的抗日救亡示威游行，他们顶着澶冽的寒风，不顾前来镇压的军警，高呼着“打道日本帝国主义”，“反对华北自治运动”，“停止内战，一致对外”等口号，英勇地前进着。赤手空拳的青年学生同反动军警进行了勇猛地搏斗，血可流，志不可夺！“一二九”运动终于取得了全国人民的支持，唤起了全国人民抗日救国的决心。不久，抗日的峰火燃烧在太平山上，游击健儿出没在青纱帐里，这是何等热血沸腾的斗争！为了民族的利益，为了祖国的利益，北平的学生们以他们壮烈的行动写下了光辉的一页。

历史证明了中国的知识分子是革命队伍中一支不可却少的力量。同时，历史也进一步证明了知识分子只有在中国共产党的领导下，和人民大众站在一起，以民族的利益为重，祖国的利益高于一切，才能真正发挥他们的作用，才能发挥他的聪明才智，实现他的伟大抱负。“一二。九”运动以经过去77年了，但“一二九”的革命精神永存。

今天，我们缅怀“一二·九”更主要的就是要学习当年的有志青年崇高的爱国主义思想。历史在教科书上虽然只留下几行黑色的铅字，但今天我们仍然能体会到当年的精神与勇气。历史不会遗忘他们，我们更不会忘记那些为了祖国利益而奋不顾身的前辈们。

我们也不会忘记这一天，77年前的这一天，我更不会忘记那些在敌人的恐怖氛围的笼罩下呼喊着口号散发着传单而不惜抛头颅、撒热血的青年，可敬可爱的青年。是他们，在国家存亡的关头，振臂高呼，促使了反动派的妥协。他们是可爱的青年，以他们的实际行动，展示了青年的热血豪情；以他们无畏的勇气，诠释了青年的含义。我们不会忘记他们，那些可敬可爱的青年。那么，朋友们，正值青春年华、年少轻狂的我们，该用怎样的行动来诠释青年的含义呢？处于二十一世纪和平年代的中国大学生们又该如何去展现青春的风采呢？对此，我只想说两个字“努力”！

同学们，爱国主义从来都不是空洞的，它并不遥远，爱国主义就在我们身边，就在我们日常生活中。当今的爱国行动并不要求我们做出惊天地、泣鬼神的壮举，在高度商业化的社会，爱国首先要求我们爱学校、爱师长、爱班级、爱同学，爱国行动甚至可以表现为随手捡垃圾、随手关水龙头等日常行为习惯。当然，目前我们爱国主义最主要的内容还是要好好学习，将来为祖国的现代化建设作出更大的贡献。

我们是幸运的。也许你会说：“这种被书海囚禁着，被压力囚禁着的命运早已失去了自由，哪有幸运可言啊？”那么让我告诉你：我们能同在这一片蓝天下就是我们的幸运，能在美丽的实验相聚就是我们的幸运，赶上了日新月异的新时代更是我们的幸运。比起父辈们那贫寒的岁月，你还能说我们不幸运吗？当然，生命是不可能由幸运构成的。人的一生总是在接受新的事物，而在这接受的过程中，总是有这般那般的烦恼萦绕着。我们在成长，在繁忙的学业中，在对假若的渴望中，在一次次的成功与失败中，我们如同春天抽芽的麦苗，承受着挣脱陈皮的痛，编织着成长的心曲。

要收获是必须要付出的，是必须承受磨难的。风平浪静造就不了人才，只有波涛汹涌的大海才能创造出沙滩的光洁与柔软。因为选择了天空，雄鹰才能振翅高飞于天地之间；因为选择了陆地，猎豹才能任意驰骋于原野之上；因为选择了大海，巨鲸才能凶猛搏击于浪涛之间；因为选择了高中，选择了继续求知，这就意味着我们将继续选择艰辛。选择艰辛吧，它会是风景里最美的一朵花，它会让那朵花结出果实，也许你会错过一段季节，也许你会迷失一段方向，错过了太阳，但你还会迷失月亮吗？也许还有荒漠沼泽，也许还有雨雪风霜，但对于坚定的信念，艰辛也是一道绚丽的风光。
