期末考试前一天，她来求我说“请你给我讲解一下行吗?这次我很想考得好一点。”我开始给她讲解，不一会儿便草草收场，假装没有察觉她迷茫的眼神，一溜烟儿地跑开了。不出所料，这次她又考砸了。两个月后，新学期依始，传来她死于血癌的消息。我没有完成那项小小的任务，无人知晓。但我却不能原谅自己。她的眼睛令我难以忘怀，仿佛在责问我，“你为什么不愿多帮助我呢?这对于你来说，并不费事。你为什么不能理解我对你的信赖，而让我带着痛苦和遗憾离开这个世界?”
我当时才八九岁。但从某种意义上讲，这件事成了我生活的新起点。因为我开始体会到“责任”二字的意义，并尽心尽力地学着完成自己的义务。我也逐渐领会了这个神圣字眼的深刻内含:人与人之间的彼此需要和信任、合作和依赖正是人类社会存在的基础。
之后，我在生活中又经受过多次失败，但那小姑娘之死所引起的懊悔，心里却不曾再现。想到自己做每一件事都能尽职尽责，一种满足之感便油然而生。
此事及类似的多起事件改变了我，完善了我。当我长大成人，我开始领悟周围发生的一切变化。我发现，从某种意义上说，社会跟我一样，正处在一个自我完善的时期。新建筑、新商品、新款式一天一个样。新思维、新信息、新技术层出不穷。即便万里相隔，人们在转瞬之间即可相互交谈。社会竞争越演越烈。
人们越来越强调个性和创造性。越来越多的人因工作努力而受到奖赏。这就是当今的时代，一代新人由成长迈入成熟的时代。这是我们这一代人接替父辈治国安邦的时代。然而，我们也面临很多间题。
据悉，坏人在光天化日之下作恶，周围的群众居然袖手旁观，无动于衷。我还听说，目前我国尚有100万儿童连小学也上不起，而巨额资金却拿去举办奢侈的宴会和购置豪华的轿车。
我们常常买的是劣质药品，或名曰药品实为一文不值的废物，非但不能除病去痛，反而会使
病情加重。在某些人看来，世上金钱最宝贵，只要能赚钱，不惜牺牲道德和责任。
因而，这个时代赋予我们的是更强烈的竞争和效率意识，使我们更善于批判性地思考和创造性地行动。
此外，这个时代要求我们这一代人必须认清自己肩负的历史重任，下定决心，采取行动，解决上述问题。长期以来，历史一直在我们这一代人身上培养着这些品质。现在，历史呼唤我们挺身而出，以实际行动向全民族及全人类证实我们的拳拳爱国之心和大无畏的英雄主义。 此刻，我站在讲台上回顾15年来的学生生活。今后的岁月，我很可能平平淡淡地度过。但这丝毫不会让我心灰意冷。因为我知道，凭借强烈的责任感和精益求精的不懈奋斗，我将追求一种有意义的生活，一种不枉此生的生活。

事例和理论来晓喻听众，打动听众，“征服”群众，必须要有现实的针对性。所谓针对性， 首先是作者提出的问题是听众所关心的问题，评论和论辨要有雄辩的逻辑力量，要能为听众 所接受并心悦诚服，这样，才能起到应有的社会效果;其次是要懂得听众有不同的对象 和不 同的层次，而“公众场合”也有不同的类型，如党团集会、专业性会议、服务性俱乐部、学 校、社会团体、宗教团体、各类竞赛场合，写作时要根据不同场合和不同对象，为听众设计 不同的演讲内容。
第二、可讲性。演讲的本质在于“讲”，而不在于“演”，它以“讲”为主、以“演”为辅。 由于演讲要诉诸口头，拟稿时必须以易说能讲为前提。如果说，有些文章和作品主要通过阅 读欣赏，领略其中意义和情味，那么，演讲稿的要求则是“上口入耳”。一篇好的演讲稿对 演讲者来说要可讲;对听讲者来说应好听。因此，演讲稿写成之后，作者最好能通过试讲或 默念加以检查，凡是讲不顺口或听不清楚之处(如句子过长)，均应修改与调整。 第

我在每次上英语课前，安排一名学生走上讲台进行英文小演讲：所谓小演讲就是用英语进行自我介绍、讲述自己的经历、也可以是一段对话、一则诗歌、一个小故事或者一段文章甚至一个小短剧，也可以教同学们一句谚语、一首诗等，每涉及到新单词和词组，在课前都写在黑板上，以此来鼓励学生进行课外阅读，收集课外新词，以促使学生们之间合作学习。让学生上台讲成语故事、名人名言或谚语，坚持多年，大有成效。 在讲之前，学生必须先做准备，阅读、记忆故事内容，明白所讲成语故事（名人名言或谚语）的原来意义和现实教育意义。最关键的一点是站在台上时，仪态要大方，声音要洪亮。讲完以后，同学之间相互评价，指出优缺点。这样坚持做下来，时间一长，学生的听说能力在不知不觉中有了提高。每天一分钟，时间不算长，却无形当中教会学生许多做人的道理。我还经常围绕这些主题让学生选择开展英文小演讲： 1.单词联想。

On behalf of my colleagues, I wish to give my warm eongratulations on thc holding of the photo Exhibition\"Scenery of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan.\"
Talking of scenery and landscape,there are many similarities and contrasts between 中国 and Canada.Both have land maes that are among the world\'s largest.Both have some of the world\' smost impreive mountains, rivers and lakes.Buteach has things that are special to itself.The Chinese are surprised by the fact that Canadian furtraders of the early years were actually able to sailon canoes from the Atlantic to the Pacific through thousands upon thousands of lakes spread out from eastern to western Canada, while Canadians find the mountains drawn by Chinese painters on scrolls utterly surreal.No Chinese visitors would leave Canada contented without seeing the\'Niagara Falls.
No Canadian visitors to 中国 would feel satisfied just seeing the Great Wall without also touring the Three Gorges, for that matter.
The exhibition of scenery of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan brings us to yet another world.To those who have been to 中国,it will provoke reminiscences and to those who have not been to 中国, it may prove to be an irresistible invitation.
Not wanting to bore you with my pale description, Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like you now to join me in marvelling at these works of art.

he readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal.as the evening was drawing to a close the lady said, \"i\'ve had a marvelous evening.would you like to stay the night?\"
the man hesitated then said, \"do you act like this with every man you meet?\"
\"no,\" she replied, \"only those who catch my eye.\"

youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease.this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 .nobody grows old merely by a number of years .we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living .in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wirelestation : so long as it receives meages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courag

i am chinese.i am proud of being a chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind.i\'ve learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers.i\'ve learned about the great wall and the yangtze river.i\'ve learned about zhang heng(张衡)and i\'ve learned about zheng he(郑和).who says the yellow river civilization has vanished(消失)?i know that my ancestors have made miracles(奇迹)on this fertile land and we\'re still ma-ki-ng miracles.who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have succefully sent our satellites into space, and that our gnp ranks no.7 in the world? we have experienced the plunders (掠夺) by other nations, and we have experienced the war.yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----china, unyielding and unconquerable!
i once came acroan american tourist.she said, “china has a history of five thousand years, but the us only has a history of 200 years.five thousand years ago, china took the lead in the world, and now it is the us that is leading.”my heart was deeply touched by these words.it is true that we\'re still a developing nation, but it doesn\'t mean that we can despise (鄙视) ourselves.we have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of.we have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑战) are great, but our will is evengreater.
