职高技术系warming up分层教学

高中学生的文化知识水平参差不齐，差距很大。而在英语教学的差异中，又存在口语差异、记忆差异、理解差异、应用差异..既然存在着这些差异，就不能将学生一视同仁，而要分层次、分多少、分快慢地教他们。所以，在高中口语教学中实施分层教学，是庆 必须的，也是必要的。

一、目标的层次化

1．学期初，要求学生每人根据自己的实际水平制定出一个切实可行的学习目标，要求他们在学习过程中，努力奋斗，以期达到自定的目标。

2．教师汇总学生的个人目标，根据群体间即 差异，制定教学目标计划。针对所任班级的学生晕 状况和基础情况及学科特点，制定不同的教学目标。如，一个班级中有7o名学生，前45名整体素质较好，所以在制定英语口语的教学目标时，对； 该批学生提出了“创造、应用、自由对话”等较高要求。对其余25名学生，则根据他们的实际水平，提出了“背诵、复述、简单对话”等一般要求。另外，还要根据每个班级的群体情况，制定出有层次的教学目标。这样能够充分发挥各班级的特长，缩短班级之间的差距，全面提高学生英语口语水平。

3．备课要多层次。教师要根据大纲要求和学生特点及教材特点来备课， 导学案要体现层次化。在设置学习目标时，可以提出“读熟、背诵、复述、自由对话”等不同层次的目标要求，把学生分成ABc三等(A等生占25％，B等生占50％，c等生占25％)，不同层次的学生做不同层次的要求。对于c等生，着重培养他们的模仿性，让他们反复读直到读熟：对B等生，则要求他们在读熟的基础上背诵并能复述；对于基础较好的A等生， 除要求他们达到上述目标外，还必须运用所学， 能够自由流利的对话。

二、座位安排的层次化

在教学过程中，恰当地安排座位也很重要。今年我任教的两个班中，有几个调皮的男生。学期初，他们的座位被安排在最后排，英语课上， 自己不但不听讲，还总是趁教师不注意时说话，尤其到了听录音的时候，乱说话不安静，没有丝毫的纪律观念。针对这种现象，我仔细研究了每个学生的性格特点和听力、口语基础，决定实行“孤立调皮生、快慢相结合”的排位方式。把几个调皮生调到前排，B等生居中，A等生与c等生同位居前居后，这样“以一帮一，以几个带一群” 的格局就形成了。班级纪律果然大有好转，学生们的学习兴趣也浓厚了许多。到了练口语的时候，前后位之间两个学习成绩较好的学生可以与两个较差的学生搭档，然后再与同位对话，A等生给c等生一定的辅导。这样，既能让A等生“吃饱” ，又能让B等生“吃好” ，并能让C等生“吃了”。

三、课堂教学的层次化

基于备课时不同目标的设置，教师就可以对不同层次的学生进行科学合理的分类编组，因材施教。

首先，注意因材施教，因人施教，采用不同层次的教学方法。

其次，注意课堂提问的层次化。将要提问的问题分为“难、中、易”三个层次，这样全班学生都有参与课堂教学的机会。教师要对敢于回答问题的C等生，给予一定的鼓励表扬，这样能充分提高他们的学习积极性。

再次，课后作业和练习也要层次化。在英语口语教学中，着重培养的是学生的听力、理解力和说的能力。所以对于C等生，只要求他们熟读课文；对于B等生， 则要求其能背诵并复述，还能听录音回答问题；对于基础较好的A等生，则要求他们除了达到上述目标外，还要开口说，并能流利、准确地表达自己的意思。

四、课外辅导、考试题目的层次化

课外辅导是对学生的所学知识进行巩固、加深、扩展，而考试则是对学生所学进行检查、摸底， 以便于查漏补缺。课外辅导有许多方式，不同层次的学生可以采取不同方式。对于c等生出现的基础性问题像发音、语法等可以直接讲解；而对于B等生出现的问题， 则一般不直接指出， 而是让他们自己去讨论、查找解决方法，实在解决不了了，教师再给以指正。当然我们还可以组织英语角、阅读课、排小剧本、唱英语歌等活动来提高他们的英语口语水平。课外辅导的层次化，能对学生存在的问题进行及时有效的补救。

在考试题的设计上，我一般采用“爬梯子” 的方式。第一阶层是为C等生设计的(占65％)，准备2O篇文章，让学生们从中随意抽出一篇来读，酌情打分：第二阶层是为B等生准备的(占15％)，除完成第一阶层的题目外，还要回答教师提出的问题；第三阶层有一定的难度， 是为A等生设计的(占20％)，除了完成上述所有的要求外，还要加测“自由对话”或就某一个“topiC” 自由发挥。这一系列口试题目的设计，基本上能够测出学生口语的实际水平。

总之，学生之间存在着差异，就要求我们必须采取能缩短差距的教学方法。所以，分层次教学是英语口语教学中一条切实可行的方法。

一、理论依据探源

舒哈特说：“语言的本质就在于交际。” 可见语言最大的功能就是交际,交流思想,表达意图。我们学习语言的最终目的是为了交际,并不是单单停留在对语法、语音、词汇的认识上。而英语作为一门语言,它是一种交际工具,英语口语教学目的是培养学生的交际能力,因此将英语语言的本质回归口语教学是必要的。

二、数据调查及所折射出的口语方面的主要问题。

学生调查项目及百分比 ：

1.我在自由发言或口语活动中总有一种害羞心理，担心说错而难堪。40.0%

2.我对老师所选择的教学内容或谈论话题不感兴趣。58.3%

3.我认为自己的词汇量太少，语言表达能力差，无法用英语表达自己的思想。76.6%

（二）教师层面：教师对英语口语教学的重要性认识不够

大多数教师普遍认为，目前英语教学首先要应对的是高考，而高考没有口语考试的面试，而且口语在以后的学习和工作中可以再提高，另外在现实工作和生活中没有什么机会必须使用英语进行口语交流的，所以在高中英语教学中花费太多的时间和精力是没有太大的必要的。正是存在这种不正确的对待英语口语教学的观点，在一定程度上阻碍了高中的英语口语教学的发展，如果不纠正这种错误的认识，那么终将会对学生掌握英语、继续学习英语产生非常不利影响。

三、口语教学的实施策略。

（一）要改革传统的英语教学教学目标，确立有利于提高英语口的教学新目标。

根据高中学生认识能力发展的特点和学业发展的需求，高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学

生综合语言运用能力的基础上，着重提高学生英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力，特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力；形成跨文化交际的意识和基本的跨文化交际能力；进一步拓宽国际视野，增强爱国主义精神和民族使命感，形成健全的情感、态度、价值观，为未来发展和终身学习奠定良好的基础。

（二）要改革传统的英语课堂教学模式，确立有利于提高英语口语的课堂教学模式

1、课堂英语口语的教学要面向全体学生，为学生的终身发展奠定基础。

高中英语课程的必修课是为每一个高中学生奠定终身发展的共同基础的课程。因此，高中英语课程的教育教学面向全体学生，为了帮助学生打好高中英语课程的共同基础，教师要鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作的方式，发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能，要创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己感兴趣的问题并自主解决问题，要特别强调让学生在人际交往中得体地使用英语。

2、要利用现代教育技术，拓宽学习和运用英语的渠道。

高中英语教师要充分利用现代教育技术，开发英语教学资源，拓宽学生学习渠道，改进学生的学习方式，提高学生的学习效率。在条件许可的情况下，教师应充分利用各种听觉和视觉手段，例如：挂图、音像等，丰富教学内容和形式，促进学生课堂学习；要利用计算机和多媒体教学软件，探索新的教学模式，促进学生的个性化学习，要开发和利用广播电视，英语报刊、图书馆和网络多种资源，为学生创造自主学习的条件。

(一) 培养学生良好的心理素质

“培养学生健全的心理素质是外语教学的基本点,也是有效提高学生外语交际能力和交际素质的前提。学生在交际活动中的心理素质主要表现在:遇到困难时是否勇于克服困难,积极用英语与他人交流,参与交际活动是否有自信心。敢于和别人竞争,敢于争取最优秀的表现,敢于抓住机会锻炼和展示自己的外语交际能力。”可见,教师在外语教学中要重视培养学生的心理素质。中国学生的英语学不好,他们共同的第一道障碍就是其害羞心理。特别是中学生,他们总是害怕自己说出来的口语是否合乎语法要求,语音语调是否标准,说出来后同学会不会笑话自己等问题。教师需面向全体学生，尊重他们的个体差异，关注每个学生的情感，为了鼓励学生敢于开口说英语,教师可以采用李阳疯狂英语提倡的“敢于丢脸(enjoying losing face)。”鼓励学生不要害怕丢脸,敢于丢脸,减少他们的焦虑情绪，从自卑里走出来；并且要让他们明白作为语言学习者,犯错是难免的。

（二）营造宽松和谐的课堂气氛

“任何一个素质的形成都是以美好的情感熏陶为基础。”所以在课堂教学中,教师要营造宽松和谐的气氛,教师要平易近人,放下架子和学生平等对话。教师还可鼓励学生用自己喜欢的方式学习,鼓励学生畅所欲言；让学生各抒己见,这有利于开发学生的想象力,培养创造性思维,有利于提高口头表达能力。教师还应延迟判断,让学生有自我改正错误的机会,或利用引导性问题鼓励学生回答。即使学生回答的不正确或不对,也不批评、不讥讽,而应耐心开导,尽量引导他们开口表达。

（三）发挥学生主体性

“在课堂教学中,判断学生学习方式好坏和优劣的标准并不在于是进行接受学习还是发现学习,而是在于学生是否真正成为了课堂教学的主体,是否在积极独立地进行思考,是否主

动地参加教学。如果学生没有成为课堂教学的主体,只是在消极被动地进行发现和探索,这种学习方法也不会有多大的效果。”所以教师不再要求学生严格地按照题目中所给的clues去编对话、套框架,而是让他们就他们感兴趣的话题（topic）畅所欲言。通常的做法是教师确定话题范围,然后学生做几分钟的准备,之后自愿上台以“pairs”、“groups”、“role play”的方式来练习，也可以让学生以自由讨论或辩论的方式加以练习。这是一种“省时高效”的做法,远比一个教师点名“逼”着学生“编”要有更大的实效性。更重要的是给学生自由思维和表达空间,锻炼了他们的思维和表达能力。教师在这一过程中扮演一个“listener”但是要对他们的真情流露和精彩的表达给予鼓励和评价。

（四）激发学生的兴趣

“现代化教学手段,如幻灯、录音、录像、投影仪、广播、电视、电影等是外语教学中的主要的现代化教学手段。”教师在教学过程中适当的运用现代化教学手段,会使教学过程变得形象、生动、活泼,从而引起学生的兴趣。

以上笔者从语言本质的角度去探讨在中学课堂英语教学中,教师对中学生口语能力的提高有利于提高英语整体水平。我国的英语教学历经多年,但社会对其评价大多是成效甚微,其症结也许在于英语课程教学缺乏真正意义上的活动开展或者是活动缺乏认知和交际指向性。因此教师在注重对语法条目、词汇讲解、单词记忆等知识的积聚和听读写的基础上，一定要加强对口语教学的重视。中学课堂的口语教学不容忽视。合理的英语教学应重视语言知识的系统性和整体功能，在传统的知识授受层面上结合对中学生应用英语知识能力的培养使英语
