预约了5.3号上午十一点的面签，9点基本就到了南京西路。交通比较方便，梅龙镇广场就在二号线南京西路一号口出来左转向前走一个红绿灯的位置。直接去美琪大戏院寄包处寄包，等到拿包的时候给他们十元就行。寄包的时候注意，钱包，伞，纸巾可以带，其他如手表和手机等电子产品都不许带。然后左转去美琪大戏院和大厦的交界处马路上等着，拿一个牌子，等到放行进入，一直往里走，走到底就是电梯，上八楼。
到了八楼排队等，这时候会发快递单子，记得带支笔填写下地址姓名，然后叫工作人员来核对。慢慢等到小门内进入的时候会发黄色小篮子，把随身携带的物品放入篮子中，等待安检。这时候注意，高跟鞋啦，手表啦，皮带，发卡，首饰神马的都会叫的，所以为了更快速地通过，大家就穿平底帆布鞋，不要带皮带了（会解开脱掉了再让你穿的）。
安检过了，就把I20表，SEVIS收据，DS160表，签证付费两联收据，护照拿出来，去1号或者2号窗口交这些材料，审查通过后，会给你个长长的黄色的号码条硬卡纸，拿着号码等叫号，叫了就拿着硬卡纸去3号窗口，给他卡纸，他会把刚才你放在2号窗口的材料整齐叠放在一个文件夹里让你去4号窗口继续等-_-
一个多小时后，叫到号码了，把DS160表贴到窗口上让他扫描（DS160表条形码激光打印机打印就行了，不要颜色太深，黑白，彩色都行）然后依次左手四个手指，右手四个手指，两个大拇指扫描。
好了之后就继续排队等面签。我从早上9点多等到12点半…都是老爷爷老太太要不就是小盆友…人暴多…空气混浊…面签的窗口就4个，我是最里面的一个窗口，（就是按指纹旁边那个窗口）巨严格，一个面试官后面站了三个人，我前面的一个小姑娘面试官看了好久最后还是拒绝了，面试官说，很抱歉，你的材料不符合我们的要求，我们不能给你美国的签证，这是我们给你的解释。随后那个小姑娘就拿着纸头默默地走了-__-# 我后面的人都用很可怜的眼神目送我去了那个窗口…站到面试官前面我就说办F1签证，他问我去什么学校，学什么专业，原来什么专业，就说了YOU PASS.等了3小时多，面试就一会会儿。F1事实证明是很好签过的。只要记住学成肯定归国，那里没有亲戚，有足够的资金证明。
补充说下小TIPS。一定要赶早，没人看你预约的时间，进去安检速度快点，然后就直奔1号窗口交材料，去之前把该寄的东西都在美琪大戏院寄了，重新排队相当麻烦。有人说签证大楼的底楼超市也有寄包的，我兜了圈没找到。材料还是要带齐，虽然他们都没看我的材料，但是万一问起来拿不出相关的证明那就悲剧了。
