Lecture notes of my leon

It\'s my pleasure to be here.Today I’m going to talk about “let’s talk” of leon8, PEP Primary English, Book 5.Leon 8 is mainly to show the usage of the verb “like”.As for the grammar part,it will mainly be learned in “let’s learn”.I’d like to share my teaching Plan of “let‘s talk”.It mainly deals with the dialogue about “Do you like … ?”and the answers.

First,I’d like to say something about my teaching aims.Teaching aims

1.Aims on the knowledge

(1) To enable the Ss to understand and speak: “Do you like … ?Yes,…/No,…”Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.

(2)can use the phrase: very much

not…at all 2.Aims on the abilities (1) To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.(2) To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.

(3) To foster Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation.

1 3.Aims on the emotion

(1)To foster Ss’ consciousne of good co-operation and proper competition.

(2) To let the students cultivate their hobbies.

Then, I’d like to say something about the key points.difficult points and the teachings.Key-points of this leon

(1) To help Ss ask and answer the question: Do you like….? (2) To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully. (3) To develop Ss’ interest in English.Difficult points

(1) the Ss retell the dialogue.

(2)use the main sentences correctly in daily life.Teaching methods

As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language.So in this leon I will use interactive teaching methods.

Next ,it comes to the most important part : Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing.

2 Step 1.Warm-up and preview Review the new words and phase in this leon:music ,own,cartoon,listen to music Step 2;lead in the new leon Ask four students come front to act phases.the teacher says the phases ,while the students in front are doing actions.the teacher says:ride a horse, play football,write letters,sweep the floor,wash clothes ,listen to music.Step 3.presentation.Now I’ll mainly talk about this step.

一.○AAsk one of the students who is doing the action:”listen to music””what are you doing ? the student say:I’m listening to music.Then lead the Ss to read the sentence.Make sure they can say it correctly.2,the teacher then asks the students:Do you like music?At the same time,write the sentence on the Bb.some of them may say;yes,I do,others may say:no, I don’t.ask several students stand up to answer the question .write “yes,I do .no,I don’t.”on the blackboard.let the students read the sentences.3.the teacher says;as all of you have you own answer,Have a gue:Dose you teacher ,I ,like music?It’s your turn to ask me the 3 question.The students asks:Do you like music?My answer:Yes,I do .I like music very much.(write the sentence on the Bb.)

At present,part 1 of”let,s talk”has been presented.BParctise.

Role play part 1with your deskmate.○Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by playing games and doing some total physical response and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.

二○APlay the tape.let the students follow the tape to read part 2.B Parctise. Role play part 1with your deskmate.○Step 3 Consolidation.Let the students role play the whole text with their partner.Ask several groups come front to act.Step4 Homework.Summarize the whole leon,and arrange the homework.1.Do the exercises in the workbook.Check the mastering of knowledge of this leon.2.Ask students to role play “let’s talk” after cla to prepar for the performance in next cla.

4 At last ,I’m going to show my blackboard design.(use the ppt)

Leon 8 Do you like music?

Do you like music? 肯定回答:

否定回答: Yes ,I do.

No,I don’t.I like music very much.

I don’t like music at all.
