Nowadays Recreational Activities in College represent several phenomena.First, the activities held by schools take a small part and are a bit of traditional and boring, such as debate contest, social evening, football game and so on.The participants should be equipped with strong abilities of academics, art and sports, others usually act as viewers, which can’t improve students’ interests.Compared with it , activities held by students themselves are more abundant andpopular ,for example, traveling in a small group, singing in the KTV, joining dancing party, have a barbecue on a good day, etc.In addition , with the development of society, computer has played an important role in our recreation.we can suffer on the internet ,chat with qq or msn, listen to the music ,see films and many other things that we can’t even image before.
Towards Recreational Activities in College, different people have different opinions.Some people are against it.They think in the college we should still concentrate on study, as well as joining social work to make preparations for our work in the future.Recreational Activities in College is just a waste of time and money.Someone also think that activities in schools have a old form without creation and don’t have eential functions, held just in order to respond to the call of education agencies.Some parents aren’t in favor of it because thay worry that some unhealthy activities may have their teenagers addicted to , especially playing computer games.However ,the others just hold the opposite view.In their opinion, it can free us from heavy preure of studies and life.Moreover, it can help us make more friends and broaden our circles of live.Last but not least, it increase the cohesive fore and set a good basic for further work.
On my part , Recreational Activities in College is necceay, especially in the condition that we are faced with more mental problems.but we should join it with selection and avoid the side effects.Also,we should balance the time spent in study and recreation.Then, despite those disadvantages, we can benefit a lot form it.
