province, China.I’m a college junior student, studying chemistry.In the past two years, I’ve spent most of my study time in learning chemistry and English, now chemistry and English have become part of my life, just like fish cannot live without water.The roots of my strong interest in chemistry can be traced back to my childhood.For me, I’m very interested in various kinds of chemical reactions.One day, my mother put vinegar into the thermos, and after half of the day, the dirt in the thermos disappeared magically.From then on, I spent much free time in observing things around, and I fully enjoyed my life at the same time.With days paing by, my interests in chemistry became more and more strong.Thus, I chose chemistry as my major subject in my college life.College life is so colorful that I gradually found the advantages of English.I think English is an important tool, so I’m always trying to improve both my written and oral English.
I’m an open-minded girl with enthusiasm, and keep youthful vigor all day long.I enjoy facing challenges and fresh things, and have a strong thirst for knowledge.I like most of the ball games, like badminton, table tennis, basketball and so on.I’ve learned table tennis for many years, and won the city’s champion in high school.I also like sing songs, many people like my sweet voice.Obviously, I’m easy to get along with others, so I have lots of friends, I can learn from their good qualities to offset my weakne.Moreover, we can have fun together and it’s good to reach out team spirit.Last year, I went to the kindergarten to teach children to speak English, sing songs and dance for a month as a volunteer.They are lovely and smart, I like teaching and laughing with them.Many people think they are too young to speak English, but I think the interest is the best teacher.After all, studying English in a country where people don’t speak it is difficult, so it’s very important to foster an interest for English.I suppose that the reason why so many people don’t dare to speak English aloud in public is that they have doubts in themselves.So, I believe, developing children’s self-confidence from an early age will be of great benefit to them.And I gained a lot from my volunteer work.
I think it must be an excellent chance for me to study abroad and experience foreign cultures.The model of teaching abroad has been attracting me all the time, so I hope to have a chance to be an exchange student.Then I will cherish this exchange study experience and learn more about profeional knowledge.In order to adapt to the environment quickly, I will make the best to adjust myself.“But man is not made for defeat.A man can be destroyed but not defeated”, Hemingway has ever said.However, the 2 years of undergraduates studies made me realize a principle of life, “Never give up, and you will always be on the road to succe.”
As my dream, I believe that all my experiences should be the proce of self-actualization and return for the society.I would be appreciated if my application could be seriously considered.
