当炎炎夏日落下帷幕时，我们相约在这里，相约一段传奇。
I believe we meet here again to make a legend when the summer ends and the autumn is approaching.新的学期，对我们来说，是融入学校，杨起新一面人生风帆的开始，也孕育着新的憧憬与希望。
next term is the new beginning for us to adapt into the school and also the new life that full of new hope.我们每一位同学都应站在新的起跑线上认真审视自己，我们的学习环境如此优雅清静，我们的老师如此孜孜不倦，我们也应该具有鸿鹄之志。读书是先苦后甜的，不要因为尝到了苦，就不去吸吮甘甜的露！只要坚持努力，我们就能踏上求学的成功之路！
everyone of us should have great aspiration to study hard in the new environment in order to yield harvest.西方谚语有这么一句话：“含泪播种，欢笑收割。”用在读书上，真是再恰当不过了，只要坚持不懈，就能抹掉嘴角的一丝苦味，采撷诱人的甘果。

on study.let’s remember: Perseverance is the key to succe! 在努力学习的同时，也应该树立远大的理想.We should establish lofty ideal when we study.人在世上生活，就如同船在大海上航行，如果失去了航标，航船就会迷失方向，如果没有崇高的理想，人就丧失了前进的动力.ideal is true the cause for which we have been struggling.we can’t have the motive to live and strive if we don’t have dream.我坚信只要有理想相伴，只要心中亮着理想这盏不灭的灯，我们就会步入灿烂的里程。
i believe we can make succeful if we have high ideals.we will be at lost about life if we don’t have.当然，在树立理想的同时，我们更应该注重自己的行为，做一个让大家放心、老师称心、同学欢心的中学生。
而怎样可以做到以上这些呢？我想，我们应该做到以下几点； I think we should do as follows to be worthy middle school students.
一、明确学习目的，端正学习态度，认真学好各科文化，在班内形成“比学赶帮超”的氛围。
First,we should be hard-working with clear objective and attitude.
二、要多读书，读好书，宽阔自己的知识面，去欣赏优秀的书籍，在书海中遨游。
Second,we should read as many books as poible to broaden our scope of knowledge.
三、树立远大理想，正确的人生观，自觉抵制不良思想的侵袭，不接触不健康.低级趣味的东西，学做品德高尚的人。
Third,we should set up lofty ideal and form cognition and values in the secondary school,
四、尊敬师长，团结同学。对学习有困难的同学大家要伸出援助之手，多指导，多关心，以达到共同提高的目的。
Forth, we should respect our teachers and clamates.get well with our clamates and help each other.
五、要自强自立，作为中学生我们不能象小学生那样，事事要父母操心，我们应当自己来管好自己的生活、学习。
Fifth,we should take care of ourselves and be independent gradually.
六、认真学习《中学生日常行为规范》，严格执行规范，用规范来指导自己的言行。
Sixth,we should strictly obey the rules and regulations.
松弛的神经又将绷紧，床头的闹钟又将在清晨奏鸣，久违的台灯下又将出现我们的身影。让我们用理想与青春，智慧与汗水守望新的灿烂辉煌。同学们，让我们扬起理想的风帆，在新的学习生活中奋勇前行（航行）！

The best and the worst
Joe Sanders has the most beautiful garden in our town.Nearly everybody enters for \'The Nicest Garden Competition\' each year, but Joe wins every time.Bill Fritch’s garden is larger than Joe\'s.Bill works harder than Joe and grows more flowers and vegetables, but Joe\'s garden is more interesting.He has made neat paths and has built a wooden bridge over a pool.I like gardens too, but I do not like hard work.Every year I enter for the garden competition too, and I always win a little prize for the worst garden in the town!
最好的和最差的 乔·桑德斯拥有我们镇上最漂亮的花园。几乎每个人都参加每年举办的“最佳花园竞赛”，而每次都是乔获胜。比尔·弗里斯的花园比乔的花园大，他比乔也更勤奋，种植的花卉和蔬菜也最多，但乔的花园更富有情趣。他修筑了一条条整洁的小路，并在一个池塘上架了一座小木桥。我也喜欢花园，但我却不愿意辛勤劳动。每年的花园竞赛我也参加，但总因是镇上最劣的花园而获得一个小奖！
